My tidy tip is a sink of hot soapy water when I’m cooking meals so that I can wash up dishes/ utensils as I cook. That way when my family sits down to dinner, kitchen clean up is almost done. I completely agree with you on clean sheets! There is nothing better!
We recently got a Shark robot vac and absolutely love it. We have a 2 year old, 6 month old, and 2 dogs. It is priceless. We run it daily and it always picks up so much hair and dirt. Not only that, it helps save precious time for busy moms. Added bonus that my 2 year old thinks it is hilarious, so it also serves as free entertainment 😂. Well worth it in my opinion.
Hi Meagan we clean up as we go and we also tidy up before bed. I like having a regular vacuum cleaner with a long hose to sweep the corners of the ceiling to get the cobwebs. Thank you so much for the video.❤
I love your wooden staircase! I don't mind vacuuming and I clean my parents' house once a week and do that, but at home, my kids alternate vacuuming. My oldest, who is 16, really enjoys it and tries to volunteer to always do it (but I make them alternate). I clean as I cook too, as in doing dishes while cooking and cleaning the kitchen. Thanks for sharing your habits with us.
We love our robot vac. We have had a Deebot and now Eufy. We have a dog and two cats. They shed and I run it in the mornings to watch it because it does get stuck under certain type of furnuture we run it at least every other day and it comes out full. ❤ Thank you for sharing your tips to keeping your home tidy 😊
A friend of mine has a robo vac, not sure what brand, and she says she loves it. She has a dog and a couple of cats and says it helps tremendously with keeping their hairs under control.
We have had robovacs for several years since our child was 2! They aren’t perfect, but I do love them. We ran it every night after tidying - our daughter’s job as a toddler was to pick up the floor (esp her toys) so the vacuum didn’t eat it up! I found it to be good at forcing us to pick up
I have sensory issues with loud sounds, so vacuuming isn’t as pleasant, however, I’ve been eying a Roomba with four pets and get satisfaction of doing a weekly tidy up and refilling low containers of food or toiletry products. I try to do this on a day off so when the work week comes, things are fresh and ready. Also like to clean if possible in the morning, or batch any errands together in one day- that way the afternoon is left for something fun instead. :)
I literally stopped the video halfway through to do some tidying up because you inspired me so much. I did finish the video after:) Thank you for your calming, mindful videos.
I just went through my closet amd drawers to clean them out. Felt good to get rid of old, grown out of too many shirts, etc. Love it. Cant wait too tackle kitchen cupboards.
Meghan! Robot vacuum cleaners are absolutely THE BEST! My husband and I got one a couple of years ago and we have never looked back. I think we will always have a robot vacuum cleaner in our lives now. We run it every second day because there is a little bit of prep involved (we have to go around the house and make sure things on the floor that it can bump into or get stuck on are put up; e.g. our kitchen floormatt, dining room chairs so it can get under the table and clean properly under there, and any clothes that are lying in the bedroom floor (guilty). We have a cat, and the amount of cat hair it collects each time makes my stomach turn, because before Count Vacular (the name for our robot hehe because he's black and sometimes get stuck in bright sunlight as it messes with his sensors) I would only vacuum like once a week or once every other week.... yuck!
Robot vac is time and life saving. It’s so true! We got after my daughter’s turned 6 months old and after daily working almost there is no dust anymore. After life with crawling baby it’s almost must for me.
I have a robot vacuum, and we send her around weekly to help with little crumbs and dust on the floors and rugs. Ours also mops, so our wooden floors appreciate it too! LOVE our little helper.
My husband and I recently purchased a robot vac and love it! We have two dogs and one sheds year round no matter what season it is LOL so this has been a game changer in our house. My husband actually ran across a sale on one which was awesome because some can be pretty pricey. Great video! Love your content!
Hello dear Meghan, thank you for your advices and hacks in order to maintain our home clean. I just like a lot to vacuum, my husband says it's one of my "passions". If it's possible, I would love a home tour. Thank you for your material and have a great week.
A rumba is great, we have two kids and it's a lifesaver. I do have to wash the floors every month because the automatic moping doesn't scrub stickers from the floor. But it works wonders on our 3-bedroom apartment
Thanks for thinking about us. Hoping to see you often and Sadie grows up cos I miss you lots. I love this video so much cos I strive to create a peaceful home at all times. Will you also share a video on your art sketching please. I don't know how but to incorporate it in your videos sometimes. Like maybe hanging your art as decor and explaining each what it means to you and how you did it.❤
I have a Roomba robot vacuum. I think if it were to quit working, I would panic and purchase a new within a few minutes. Being a senior citizen, through out the years as products that have been invented to make our daily lives easier and more comfortable, to me are an absolute must. More time for family and friends. I can remember the outhouse , wringer washing machine and wood burning kitchen cook stove. Sometime in the future they will be surprised to learn that vacuums had cords and you had to push them yourself.
Gift yourself a robot vac. You'll never regret it. My adult son gave me one for this past Christmas, and it has definitely made my life easier! Mine is a Eufy.
I recently bought a Roborock vacuum, which both vacuums and mops. Love it!! We have a golden retriever who sheds a lot. I’ve been having the robot run at night, and it’s so nice to wake up to clean floors every morning ❤.
Have you ever tried bangs? I think they would look great on you ❤️ I vacuum daily. With 4 kids, 3 cats, and 2 dogs, it gets nasty around here quickly if I don't!
Yesss to making your bed. It starts the whole day of right! If my bed isn’t made by lunch time ain’t nothing in order here! Haha also my husband had wanted to buy me a rumba forever since we have one floor but dang it I told him vacuuming Is my quiet time, it’s my peace and I enjoy it! The kids play ugh. Haha
Thanks for this video ❤ I completely agree. I hate not to clean the kitchen after every use and always try to put things in their specific places, just not to create a mess around. It's easier for me because I live by myself and I don't have babies. But I admit I'm not perfect and sometimes tiredness wins 😂😂😂😂
I love Helga! She's my Shark AI Ultra with a self-empty base. She's worth every penny and makes beautiful vacuum lines! She's on a schedule to run every morning after everyone else has left for the morning [I work from home.]. She can be high maintenance at first as she is getting to know a space and cleaning out nooks that a vacuum cannot go, like entirely under the bed or a piece of furniture. 💪🏻 However, once a few cleanings are complete, she's good to go for a while. I do recommend the self-empty base so that you can empty a canister once a month versus daily. That's where I've found my time is really saved. Before my Shark, I kept a pretty clean home, or so I thought. The amount of dust and debris my Shark is able to get is insane! I will never be without a robot vacuum cleaner.
@@meghanlivingstone Do it! My husband thought I was crazy at first, but I told him I was tired of trying to keep up with his messes. ;) Within the first week, he told everyone he knew how much he loved our Helga!
We just moved too. But finding a place for everything right now is kinda a problem. My husband and I are handicapped. We try to do our best to clean and keep things clean. Do you have any suggestions on this? What can we do? We don't have a dishwasher. Our counter is small..
Love every single one of your videos! Do you donate all of Sadie’s clothes when she’s done with them? I’m saving mine in bins and storing them, just because we will have more kids.
If you plan on having more kids it makes total sense to store clothes in a bin! We aren't definitive on having another baby so I personally don't mind donating them. It's easy enough for me to thrift more in the future if we do decide to have more kids!
I vacuum everyday, I love my feet on clean floors and we have a hairy golden retriever. It allows him and me to live together peacefully. I like my floors cleaned quickly. The floor automated cleaners take too long for me. Lol😂😊

I LOVE this tip and I'm going to give it a try!
I love vacuuming too. Probably because its instant gratification of something being done and easy to do.
I really love how calm you and your home is. I hope you’ll do a home tour update soon.. 🥹
I love the idea of cleaning as you go and not letting it pile up and cause stress.
Megan So do I xxxx

Can't forget about the ceiling webs!
I’m with you on the vacuuming😂
I’ve gotten myself into a routine of vacuuming every night after dinner, and I actually find it so satisfying
Always love this type of videos! 🩷

It really is. Best feeling waking up to a clean kitchen!

I love my vacuum! I only like it because it’s a cordless light one. Makes it quick and easy .
I have a eufy robot vacuum and it is so uplifting to have clean floors when everything else can be so constant and consuming
Thanks for the tips Meghan. Love from East Africa
Robo vac must have. I can not live without. It’s amazing.

Vacuuming is one of the most enjoyable chores for me too!
I don’t like vacuuming but don’t mind sweeping. I am not a fan of loud noises due to sensory issues

Loved the video! Of course Clover is so cute as usual! Xo
My tidy tip is using paper plates whenever possible.
Less dishes to wash and less clutter around the sink.
I for a long time though of a robot vacuum... but then i thought i need some exercise do it myself lol

Love these tips, thank you ♡
Less clutter also helps me feel less overwhelmed to do a dust and clean.
P.s: your hair looks lovely! ♡
I do enjoy vacuuming! Mopping though…. 😬
I have heard mixed reviews on robot vacuum cleaners….. love the videos!
I never had a robot vacuum because it requires having the floor clear and if I’m tidying up anyway it’ll be easier and quicker just to vacuum then.
Have you ever tried bangs? I think they would look great on you ❤️
I vacuum daily. With 4 kids, 3 cats, and 2 dogs, it gets nasty around here quickly if I don't!
Happy to see you, dear!
Please, if you wanted, make a vídeo about maternity.
I am a mommy of a baby 5mouth.
Have a nice week!

Can you do a video on your diet postpartum
I have a stick Dyson and it is quick and amazingly effective but the noise is annoying 😮

Tiredness definitely wins sometimes!

Robot vacuum is one of the best purchases that I have ever done 😂
I am using robot vacuum cleaner and it is a game changer for me.
Sounds like a lot of people love them! I'm inspired!
100% worth it, I run it twice a day with toddlers. My single greatest investment
Donate bag is keeeyyyyyyyy!
Where do you usually shop for clothes?
I vacuum everyday, I love my feet on clean floors and we have a hairy golden retriever. It allows him and me to live together peacefully. I like my floors cleaned quickly. The floor automated cleaners take too long for me. Lol😂😊
I totally get it. Vacuuming everyday is honestly ideal lol! I too love my feet on clean floors.
I like it too 😅
I have a robot mop vacuum ❤ it is worth it🎉
Do you have a cleaning schedule you like to follow?
May I suggest u save Sadie’s clothes for baby #2 😊
Hate vacuum. Robot please
I vacuum five days a week. No, it does not give me satisfaction.
