I always drink a cup of coffee in the morning and then a cup of tea in the afternoon/evening. Lovely video! Your shots are always so aesthetic. 🌱
I bought some second hand old fashion looking lamps a few weeks ago and put one in the kitchen and one in the lounge area. Instant cozy! Even in day time. Its summer here in Australia, but turning off the bright overheads at night and having little lamps makes it feel cooler and cozy at the same time. Plus our house is cool and dark so it's like walking out of the bright sun into a cozy little cave on the side of hill. Feeling a little hobbity today!
I really enjoyed this video and incorporate these things into my home. I believe keeping a tidy home is the most important part of creating a calm home too. There’s nothing more stressful for me than looking around my home and seeing clutter or a mess. I feel like I can’t relax until the mess is straightened. With that being said, another way to create a cozy home is often contradictory to maintaining a clean home- and that’s having a soft, cuddly kitty or two. For my family, there is nothing more cozy than having one of our cats curl up beside us. Having a pet requires so much extra cleaning and maintenance, so getting a new cat is a big decision to make; but for my family, it’s worth the extra sweeping, litter box emptying, and vacuuming of furniture.
Another way I create a warm home is through a coherent, calm color scheme. I decorate in mostly white, aqua, and pale yellow. My bedroom and bathroom are furnished and decorates in different shades of white. These colors are easy on my eyes and help me relax. My daughter decorates on the warm side. She enjoys making her whole apartment feel like an old den with dark wooden furniture and dark maroon and navy fabrics on her windows, bed, and couch. Even though her color scheme is very different than mine, it’s still really cozy. She recently bought lamps to create a softer atmosphere. Before buying them, she used the overhead lights in the evenings. Those overhead lights can cast a harsh glove to the room and hurt some of our eyes. I enjoy soaking up every minute of sunshine during the day, but when the sun sets, I’m ready to relax and enjoy the darker evenings. I only use as much light as I need for the task I’m doing. When I’m cooking, I use the light above the stove. I use the light above my sink while washing my dishes, I have lamps beside my couch, beds, and in my office. For me, using soft sources of lighting helps me relax in the evenings and get ready for bed. I hope these ideas help someone else, although I think a lot of us incorporate these ideas into our homes every day. I’m sure I’ve taken dozens of the cozy things in my home for granted. I’ll read through the comments to see what everyone else thinks and I’m sure I’ll nod in agreement.

I drink tea out of a fine bone china mug. Porridge is my cozy food. I don't do candles with children or pets especially my cats. Love clean sheets but a sun dried scratchy towel after a soak in the bath ...bliss. I have 3 cozy spots in my house to sit, read, listen to audiobooks, crochet, knit, chat to friends on the phone and of course watch your RUclips videos.
I’m a coffee girl and on the weekend I love making a latte, which I sweeten with My Vegan’s chocolate drops which just make my coffee amazing. Then I sit in my sofa chair in my room for my prayer time. I love having a video by Aura Relax on RUclips, the music is so soothing and I choose the ones that have the same season we’re experiencing so at the moment it’s winter scenes. As soon as I play them I immediately know it’s time to chill. A minimal bedroom really helps me to get cosy and not distracted and I light a candle with a calming fragrance. I also love cooking up food that makes me feel cosy, like lasagne or shepherds pie.
I'm in love with coffee but i have just one in the mornings, then I have 2-3 cup of black tea during the day and if it's cold I would like to have a chamomile tea or black tea with rose bud😊 or with honey.

I am bringing field flowers, plants, leaves and hang them on the walls. Also, always have eucalyptus twigs in my shower 🚿 It looks and smells heavenly 😊

I love this video, thank you. I love my warm beverage that I call "Vegan Coffee". it's simply cacao & maca powders, pinch of ginger, cinnamon & salt, with drizzle of honey to taste. This & turmeric milk are my cost go-to's.
I like very few decorative items. A few larger items instead of a lot of small items. I prefer using a lot of textures instead of patterns. Warm lighting from a table lamp instead of overhead lights is so nice. Oh, and a fire (even fake fire can be cozy)!
I agree. Keeping only a few decorative and sentimental items really is easier on our eyes and senses. I have a fake fireplace that adds such a cozy glow to our living room. Your comment reminded me of our televisions. They can be used as a source of chaotic stress or added ambiance. I enjoy turning on seasonal videos such as a snowy train ride through the Swiss alps in the winter, drone videos of meadows and lakes in warmer weather, and leaf covered brooks in the autumn.

My favorite tea bag is the celestial tea in Apple Cinnamon and herbal teas during fall and autumn season .

I love having fresh cut flowers, or potted flowers. This time of year I also love bringing the outdoors in by cutting small budding branches and twigs and bringing them inside to turn green or flower in a vase. Loved this video Meghan!

Using lamp light instead of overhead lighting, adds a cozy vibe to any space. Keeping books on hand, seasonal notepads for jotting down list. throw blankets, was burners or diffusers.
I love this video, tea in a favorite mug is one of my favorite rituals. I know there are so many fancy green teas, but I always go back to the Bigelow green tea with lemon, also like Tazo Zen.

Lovely, cozy video! I like to be mindful of lighting in my home. I try not to use too much overhead lighting, and prefer softer lamps spread around the rooms of my home. I enjoy coffee and tea at anytime of the day. Cuddling up with my cat and dog with a good book are just the solution when it's snowy outside. Beautiful drawings and art room!

Just came across your 'cozy' channel. I love the list. I do all but burn candles. I'm also a tea drinker - organic green tea and matcha tea lattes which I have in my favorite mug. I would like to say that adding plants makes a home much more welcoming and inviting.

It’s got to be a coffee first thing and then later tea. In autumn/winter months i opt for lapsang souchong which is a comforting smoky tea and i drink by the gallon.

I love yogi, and also Republic of tea has some very nice teas, I actually just found a mug very similar to yours it’s A little bit of a different shape but I love it are used to have one just like yours that was cranberry and gray but it broke. And just the other day I found one again it’s making my heart so happy the minute you started talking about tea I was sipping on mine! Coffee drinker all the way (espresso, lattes, etc), one cup in the morning. I only drink tea at night during the colder months to give me a cozy feeling. 😊
Tea definitely does give that cozy feeling, especially when it's cold outside!
Earl Grey is and has been my go to beverage for probably 15 years now. I like the Numi Aged Earl Grey, it smells and tastes delicious, I drink it with raw honey. However, I do like a nice cup of coffee (pour over or French pressed) with Oatly oat milk on occasion 😋, but lately when I drink coffee I unfortunately get a hive or two so I’ve been steady on the tea 😃

Do you know what else I have found very comfy and cozy lol is red lights, blublox makes some very awesome products, I love the Lumi lights, and the book clip! I turn these on in the evening time as well as using their sleep plus glasses and it makes you sleep so well! And you know how it cuts down on all that blue light at the end of the night to help melatonin production which is our number one antioxidant in our body not just a hormone for sleep! I sound like some commercial but I tell you what I’m so excited about it because it works!!!
