3a) put your still-edible food scraps into a soup, stew or hash! You can grab her 25 tips here: ruclips.net/video/QbqRGrCtYhM/видео.html - Also, not sure why some of the text got messed up for a few points! Number 14 should read "Declutter Small Spaces, 15 should read "Buy Essentials in Bulk", and 18 should read "File/Flag Emails". xoxoxo
My last apartment and my boyfriend's last apartment both had really small kitchens with very minimal counter space. So I started putting things away as I cooked purely out of necessity. Now that we live in a big condo with a huge kitchen and tons of counterspace, I still do this with ingredients. It makes everything so much easier. Probably the best change I made to simplify my life in a long time (other than moving in with the bf, of course....that made life soooo much simpler). Great list! Just subscribed.
I think it is really easy to forget that the little things accumulate. I always have a rule of "if it takes less than a minute, do it". Helps me to stay on top of things
I love the tip about switching from your phone to your laptop! It also makes it easier to stay away from social media and stay focused on the task at hand, I find.
Love your video Meghan! 🤍 Your tips were all so amazing and I'm definitely going to need to start chopping food up as soon as I buy it from the grocery store. That was such a simple but mind-blowing tip!
Tip No. 16 is so simple yet important. Especially working and studying from home, the e-Mail vortex is real 😂 If I set at a desktop computer, I am so much more structured. Thanks for sharing!
One of the things I do is too fill up my sink with dishwater before I start cooking, that way as I dirty up items I don't put in the dishwasher I can clean as I go, or they will be a lot easier to clean when I do wash them.
I want to add that I appreciate the tip about receipt envelopes. We don't run a business, but we rent our home from my father-in-law. Since he can claim all his expenses related to his rental property on his taxes, we use his credit card for purchases for the property (e.g. he bought us a dishwasher recently). But since we usually make these purchases on our own, we have to keep the receipts to send to him for his taxes. That envelope idea will really help us keep the clutter down. Normally, we just dump them on the kitchen table to sort out later ... much later. I am so doing the monthly envelopes just as soon as I can get some envelopes! Or maybe I'll do file folders, since receipts for online purchases are full pages. :D
So useful! Apple’s and google’s keychain saved me so many times by synchronising all my passwords on all devices. So many times (before this function) I was resetting tons of passwords all the time and still forgetting them 😄
I type all accounts/sites in alphabetical order. Then I write the corresponding email address, UserID & Password/Pin in pencil next to them (in shorthand in case anyone gets ahold of them), because they always need to be updated. I separate personal and work items to make it even easier.
Love all of these! My mum taught me tip number 1 when I was growing up, and now I’m teaching it to my daughter. It really is a great time saver! Stay well Meghan and keep the fab content coming 💕👏🏽

I'm happy i found you today, you seem like such a pleasant easygoing person. Hi!! Coat hangers: A year ago I bought 20 wooden black and white hangers for my husband and I. We only own those 20 hangers. If we ever find in the future that we need some more, that means we have to declutter our clothes, not buy new hangers (plus, the hangers I got were kind of expensive for that reason, so I am never be tempted to buy more)
charging your phone at night can be a great idea but because it is plugged in longer than it needs to be it can wear down the baterry, is you want your phone to last longer try charging it in the afternoon/evening when you winding down
Your video is a great source of valuable information and suggestions. It is a welcome find, along with your well thought out, professional and respectful way of delivering the message. And thank you, thank you for not referring to us in your audience as "you guys."
It's so nice that you are so very helpful. I was so surprised that you would mention where you keep your purse, keys and wallet. Things you would never expect to happen in life can sometimes be absolutely astonishing. Be careful and be safe. 🙂💛
Sounds like you are getting things done if you're knowing it's no matter what you do. If that is the case a visit to you doctor might be in order. If not, perhaps try an energising diffuser blend if you haven't. Something with lemon, orange/mandarin and grapefuit...or mint/eucalyptus always helps me feel energised and ready for the day with lots of clarity. A to-do list with everything you're doing already anyway also helps you realise just how much you're doing anyway and can stop you making a list of more than fits in your available time. I have a daily and weekly list laminated in my kitchen and it means I can accomplish (and tick off!) the daily things which help me feel on track as well as the larger things each week that mean I never get too off course in my whole home. Happy to share the sheet if you'd like it as a starting point to adapt for you. 🙂 Take care.
I keep my compost in the freezer and when I'm preparing food I just bring that out to throw the ends/peels in. Edit: For grocery lists, I always use the back of the receipt to write down what I need for next time.
Hi Meghan , thx for the video and I can’t wait to start your suggestions 😊 would like to know If I prep the veggies before out into the fridge, will it lost its nutrient?
A tip that simplifies family life: Have everyone in the house learn to wash their *own* dishes after use. It's fair and quick, only takes a couple minutes or less to wash a cup and a plate. It's good bc it never builds up a big pile of dishes for only on person to clean. So everyone cleans up after themselves and dishes are never a battle.
Hi Meghan! Maybe you could do a video on your favorite books or book recommendations. ❤ I've been reading a lot of fiction for the past months just to escape from the stresses of quarantine. 😞 I would definitely be interested to know the kind of books you are into. ❤😇 Love your channel! ❤
Love your videos! Bert good tips, exept charge phones over night. It’s a fire hazard!Always keep an eye on charging phones. Instead i have a powerbank in my purse if i forgot to charge the night before
Actually, from what I can tell, probably most people just have their browser memorize all their passwords for them. I have my passwords actually memorized (though I do sometimes get caught by passwords I forgot to change at the beginning of the year). They say not to use the same password for everything, but I use variations on the same password so that I can easily remember them without having to write them down. I have only met one person that I knew actually wrote down her passwords in a notebook, and she was a senior. Having said that, I do think that writing down your passwords is a good idea. I recommend using pencil, though, just because we're supposed to change our passwords at least once a year (some even recommend twice a year, at least for sensitive accounts). In fact, they sell little notebooks especially for that purpose, which I would strongly recommend over a piece of paper, as that would be so easy to lose. Plus, if you have a lot of passwords, it would be hard to find the one you want without the alphabetical system of a notebook. Or you could use a note app. We use ClevNote, which is free and has different types of notes (like checklists), one of which is specifically for online passwords.
Summary 1.Put ingredients away as you cook 2.Check for old containers left over food 3.Use a bowl for scrappers 4.Have easily accessible healthy food 5.Prep certain veggies 6.Meal plan 7.Use a grocery list 8.Memorise each snack meal 9.Have an ongoing list 10.Make most use items easily accessible 11.Hang up your clothes 12.Have a designated spot for everything 13.Practice one in one out policy 14.Deckutter little spots that you use frequently 15.Buy in bulk 16.Do certain task on your laptop 17.Streamline your to-do list 18.Flag emails 19.Have the right number of coat hangers 20.Keep a list of passwords 21.Use reminders 22.Use envelopes of your important receipts 23.Charge your phone at night 24.Pause before making a decision 25.Go to bed at the same time each night
I have heard that you can keep your passwords on your computer and scan your receipts so you can throw them away. THANK YOU to tell people to write these things down on paper. I have told people not to save important things only on your computer so it it crashes or the internet goes down you can still have access to your important papers
I have a magnetic small dry erase board on my fridge w/a marker attached so when I'm in the kitchen or my family we can add what we need during the week and I make a list off of it when I go grocery shopping. For tax receipts, I use a large ziploc bag and with a Sharpie label the outside 2020 tax.
Love that dry erase board idea. Also great that you've got a good little system in place for taxes! Tax season can be a nightmare if not organized properly.
Love the tips! Although if possible, don't hang your knitwear as it's really bad for the garments! Folding increases the longevity of those beautiful knits you have in your b-roll :)
For passwords - my only Favorites in my phone are password protected sites (bills, banking) kept in alpha order by the company, relabeled as simply as possible to include a login & password hint for myself. Lesser used sites, I do the same thing but set them up like a Contact on my phone. A paper list is no good for me - I’d lose it!
Hi. I came over from Ashlynne's channel. Good tips. I have more hangers than clothes lol. I am horrible with tracking my passwords as well. I need to get better at so much lol.

Thanks for the tips, very helpful, also you seem to be a very nice person! :) I just don't agree with one thing - keeping all your passwords written down on a piece of paper is not a good idea for safety reasons. Please keep that in mind. Have a nice day ;)
Really great tips but would highly discourage charging one's phone over night it dosent need to be charging for that long could over heat which is very dangerous

I came over from Ashlynne Eaton! I love your channel! I subscribed!
Thanks so much for being here!! ❤️
I have heard that you can keep your passwords on your computer and scan your receipts so you can throw them away. THANK YOU to tell people to write these things down on paper. I have told people not to save important things only on your computer so it it crashes or the internet goes down you can still have access to your important papers
I watched Ashlynn's calab and she mentioned to see your part of the calab.
Great video! Thanks for all the great tips! Super random but where did you get that cute lined fruit basket?😍🤗
Leah Faith Rosario it was from the dollar store I think actually! Haha. It’s cute, I love it!
Great advice thanks
Use a password manager like 1Password or Dashlane. It’s free, in the cloud, secure, makes it easier to login.
100% agree! I use LastPass and have done for years. I'd never write it on paper.
But since its on cloud I get paranoid that I can be accessed by other people...I mean the company can sell passwords
@@richasingh7595 Yep and any company that you sign up to can do the same too :)

Aw thanks great - thanks so much for following along :)
