  • This violin has a nice reddish brown varnish that gives the instrument a warm appearance, a top plate of medium grain spruce, and a back and ribs of light flame. The tone is warm, round and full. This instrument is a good option for advancing students of classical music, and would also be an excellent choice for jazz or folk violinists. The origins are most likely Markneukirchen, sometime between 1920 and 1940.

Thanks! We'll be sure the pass the compliment on to our violinist, Brage Sæbø. He does a great job :)
