We really appreciate your community. They have been very helpful to us! We are coming down a second time in July and hopefully, in February of 2025 we will move down here for at least four months to really scope it all out. Retirement is on the horizon! Just had my 4 years in Panama on the 13th of November. And my plan was to stay only for 5 months. The pandemic had other plans for me….. Enjoy your grand child. But I wouldn’t travel all time for the grand child. But that’s me.

Happy New Year! Congratulation's on the new Grandchild!!! I would love to hear the best and the worst about living in Panama. I'm making my 2nd trip down there on 2/21/24 to see the Western side of Panama. Because I got caught in the Oct/Nov protests. Looking for my spot in Panama. I did fall in Love with El Valle when I was there in October. I'm Going to book with Y'all this week to stay on 2/21 and maybe on 2/29. Thank you both for all you do for everyone!!

Whatever it is continue on keep doing what you’re doing. I’m hoping I will come and take a tour around summer or so. We’ll see how that goes but I’ve got other stuff that I’m getting going here right now so I don’t know we’ll see I don’t wanna have to be in the states any longer than necessary.

I was stationed in Panama 1993-1994. First at Ft Davis (near Colon), then Corozal-near Ft Clayton. Met my Ecuadorian wife in Panama (she was staying with her sister who was married to another Army guy stationed there.) and my daughter was born at Gorgas Hospital. I really enjoyed my time there. I’ve encouraged my daughter to get a Panamanian passport as we don’t know what the future holds.

First, congratulations on your grandchild! 💯❤ Second, Happy New Year o Feliz Año Nuevo! 🎉🥳 Wifey and I are on our 2nd year in Panamá but, unlike you, we have had to travel back to the States to help with our grandchildren. (3 of them under 3 years of age)😵💫- We are now renting near St. Augustine, FL but go back and forth to our Panamá. Keep it coming and keep safe.
