For being too hard on the punch supers, it's Jojo. I know, but watching so many back-to-back it got stale by the end of it. I love me some Jojo punches, but I was purely basing my rankings off reaction. In a bubble almost every super in this game is A-tier or above when compared to almost any other game. The quality bar is EXTREMELY high for this game! As far as the additional more hidden supers, straight up had no idea they existed. If they weren't in the move-list I didn't even know they existed, so there may be some change ups when I re-do this list post-DLC! And lastly, for not knowing Baoh's origin. Yeah thats on me, could've looked it up beforehand, I didn't. Cool character tho
Fugo's. It's a reference to the novel. It actually transforms Purple Haze into Purple Haze Distortion if you pay closecattention to the model. And it permanently buffs all his moves. And even recharges all your capsules. What's not to like? It both damage, an instal, and an utility super all in once.
Not really. That's exactly how Hand and Okuyasu himself work. Hand swings its hand, erases space and whatever was in that space, and space repairs itself, pulling things that the erased space is between towards each other. Okuyasu, being the dumbass that he is, gets tired of thinking and just swings away wildly with Hand, not taking into account the repercussions of the ability and pulling something towards him that hits him in the face. It's pretty clear what's going on if you know how the Stand and its User work.
All the supers should be in the move list besides the one that can be perform "Character A vs Cgaracter B" and Iggy alternate super. Which changes depending on the costume you have him on.
Jotaro also has a unique counter against Part 3 DIO's GHA. If you use Jotaro's the time-stop ability (you need 1 and a half bar of meter), he will get away from the steamroller before it explodes. This basically costs all your heart meter, but the damage received will be cut in half _and_ you won't get knocked on the ground.

Johnny has Multiple Supers. You missed 2 of them. At leats one of them is mid tier. If you do his super once it upgrades into the next one. And after that it upgrades again if you do it while off the horse. DIO also has a secret HH if you do the super while in time stop. Fugo has a transformation super that cost no bars if you are a low health and input QCB + 3 Attack buttons. Someone already told you about Joseph extended super. Josuke 4 also has an extension to his HH you do a fireball input. Dio Brando HH has a special zoom if you kill Jonathan with it Gyro and Johnny have slightly different GH against Valentine. Jotaro can spend bar to do a counter GH against DIO's GH by pressing down down right bumper. EDIT: Iggy's GH also changes depending on the costume you have him on.

I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but Fugo was supposed to be one of the best characters in Part 5. He was supposed to be the antagonist in Rome instead of Cioccolata, but Araki was dealing with a bout of depression at the time he was writing it; and he didn't want to make Giorno have to kill a former companion, so he substituted him with a different character that has essentially the same ability. Plus imagine how Narancia would have been during that situation. I wish it could be rewritten, because that would have made Part 5 hands down the best part.
That would’ve been cool too but I do think Ciocolata was a great enemy with his craziness, it added much interest in that episode. It’s cool to know he actually was originally going to make Fugo do that because that’s what I predicted at first and I wonder if word ever gets out to him that giorno became capo and how he would react to that. I can’t believe only giorno and Mista are left. It would be cool if their would’ve been in an ending reaction of him seeing who survived.
I do find a lot wrong with your list in my opinion. 1. Ranking things as just punches when stand rushes are iconic to jojo, however the GHA use their unique ability in these rushes. So they are still unique in themselves. 2. Ranking DIO as S for its Iconic nature but ranking part 3 jotaro (an arguably more iconic stand rush) as just punchy dude category seems hypocritical. 3. Since your anime only I can’t really hate on it too much, but ranking past part 6 and not even looking into the stand abilities of those characters. 4. Not part of list ranking however the Last thing is not a big deal but you say Kira is your favorite villain meaning you did watch part 4, but not getting the Okuyasu vs josuke reference in Okuyasu’s GHA. Just a “cmon man” moment
ROADO RORA DA is a unique move, and a fricken ridiculous one just on the concept alone. Jotaro's GHA is just punchies. A LOT of characters have punchy Supers, and they all do it better by showing off their more unique Stand abilities (Restoration, Plunder, Dimension BS that also has a unique interaction with Funny). Even basic bitch Jonathan has a much better punchy Super because of how well-paced it is. Heck, even Part 4 Jotaro at least ORAs you off the ground, turns his cap, and then proceeds to ORA you again. Part 3 doesn't really do anything unique besides rip off DIO's time stop.

You have to read part 7. Johnny, Gyro, Diego, and Valentine are some of the best characters in all of JoJo and the last 3rd of the part is in my opinion, peak JoJo.

Nah I checked in-game if they had one I just cut me fumbling around, afaik the only one that actually did was Giorno if he gets a kill with GER. That’s nowhere in the command list so I had no way of knowing without outside help

But transposing crazy over specific stands into a fighting game can result in just big punches with different flavours. So yes, it is "their thing" until it's not, until over specific powers are "their thing" and you don't even have to worry about punch rushes anymore
i've seen so many people use ermes purely for her counter super, however I find it very weird that you didn't get it when you tried it, that's a bummer
read the Purple Haze Feedback novel, it gives Fugo more characterization and the villain's stands are really cool. I'm honestly surprised David Production hasn't turned it into a movie yet.

Hope they make that movie after Part 6 is done so the alternate universe can have a little bit of time to breathe (and I kinda want the opening of Part 7 to reference Part 8 and 9, just like Sono Chi No Sadame referenced 2-6 so I need the Part 7 anime to wait a little bit for Part 9 to show up). Other than that, Purple Haze Feedback is simply just very good, fleshes out Fugo and even Giorno, Mista and Trish and also further connects Part 5 to Parts 1 and 4 in ways I don’t want to spoil.
I'm definitely late saying this and someone else probably already explained most likely, but what happened here at 31:32 is, Funny Valentine used his stand ability to take his opponent to another universe, then makes the original opponent crash into the alternate universe opponent, causing severe injuries. This is also shown in the manga when Diego Brando AU meets Lucy Steel. Lucy kept a bag with the original Diego's head in it, making it combine with AU Diego causing him to perish. So yeah, that's basically what happened.
My favorite HHA is gotta go to dio because it’s referencing the moment he stops time and surrounds jotaro with knives but GHA has gotta be eaither TA4 or Bites the dust
I think you were way too haesh on most of the punching supers Joylene, Bucciarati and especially Johnny should've been higher. Also Okuyasu at the end of his super got hit by a flower pot because of his Stand ability.
Long story short: valentine can travel universes bring things from other universes and basically just be immortal. BUT if two items that aren’t him come into contact they try and fuse and explode. Basically the “two of the same unique item cannot exist in the same universe at the same time.” Trope.
Furthermore josuke part 8 can steal one thing if his bubbles touch you. Basically you touch a bubble you get fucked in some major way. The steals are including but not limited to: sight,sound,taste,touch,friction.
The last character you used(his name is Baoh I believe) isn't solely for the game. He's actually another one of Araki's characters, just from a different manga
Yeah baoh the visitor. It’s actually a fire manga and it shows a lot that you’ll realize actually translated into jojo later. He’s clearly the inspiration for a few good characters
Funny thing about Josuke (8). His GGH is original for the game. He never did that in the manga. He did something similar. But the animation itself is not really referencing anything.
By doing a HHA with Johnny his stand evovles into a different Act (Until Act 4). Each Act also has a different HHA, so essentiallythere were 3 different Johnny supers missing (HHAs for Acts 2, 3 & 4). Using his GHA also takes the Act of his stand straight to Act 4 btw.
If you make Johnny do his super move on Funny Valentine, something canon actually happens, and the same thing goes with Gyro doing it on Funny Valentine
@@emperornefarious5273 SPOILERS AHEAD FOR PART 6 IF UR READING THIS part 6 is pretty good especially the last 3rd which is amazing. Really liked Rykiel and Versus too. And the final fight is great and weather report (the stand) at the end is amazing. The Weather backstory is tragic and pucci is a real good bastard of a villain and a very involved one. A lot of the fights and stands are really cool even if some are a bit mid. But idk the cast feels kinda weak. FF was real interesting but died to early, Anasui even tho he has one of the coolest stands and character designs in the series is extremely boring (and annoying imo). Emporio is a big non-character until the final arc in which hes pretty cool. Ermes is great and Weather is real interesting (even if his sudden angsty cool boy phase after he gets his memory back feels a bit OTT and sudden). Jolyne is fun but shes no Josuke or Joseph but shes pretty cool.

And don't worry about spoilers, I read it Part 6 also contains the worst fate a main villain can receive. And the cast was great, although I'm sad about Hermes and Weather disappearing for s chunk of the part and Foo not lasting so much, but I think that's its charm. The best for me

Ferdinand) corpses and so Diego retains the power to transform and turn other people or things in to dinosaurs i understand if you dont get it cause even i got confused when reading the manga
little facts there are some easter egg/unique super animation that can be scene when specific fighters fight against each other like -DIO super on jotaro(just adds extra scene in between and at the end of the super) -gyro's or jhonny's super on funny valentine(its turns into the love train scene at the end of part 7) -kira's super on shigechi(just a voiceline referencing a scene) -koasku super on rohan(same thing as shigechi's) -giorno super gets different face punch animation for some characters
The reason Fugo ultimate black and white is because it's a game made by a Asian company so they censor the blood and the gore like stuff. It would be much cooler if they add the gore though
I get it with the black blood effects, but the disintegration is just way easier to animate in black and white, else they would have to add a unique animation for every character being disintegrated. Same goes for Bucciarati, I wish he would zip them apart like he did with Pesci in the anime, but they would have to make an animation for every character

3. Since your anime only I can’t really hate on it too much, but ranking past part 6 and not even looking into the stand abilities of those characters.
4. Not part of list ranking however the Last thing is not a big deal but you say Kira is your favorite villain meaning you did watch part 4, but not getting the Okuyasu vs josuke reference in Okuyasu’s GHA. Just a “cmon man” moment
ROADO RORA DA is a unique move, and a fricken ridiculous one just on the concept alone. Jotaro's GHA is just punchies. A LOT of characters have punchy Supers, and they all do it better by showing off their more unique Stand abilities (Restoration, Plunder, Dimension BS that also has a unique interaction with Funny). Even basic bitch Jonathan has a much better punchy Super because of how well-paced it is. Heck, even Part 4 Jotaro at least ORAs you off the ground, turns his cap, and then proceeds to ORA you again. Part 3 doesn't really do anything unique besides rip off DIO's time stop.

You have to read part 7. Johnny, Gyro, Diego, and Valentine are some of the best characters in all of JoJo and the last 3rd of the part is in my opinion, peak JoJo.

But transposing crazy over specific stands into a fighting game can result in just big punches with different flavours. So yes, it is "their thing" until it's not, until over specific powers are "their thing" and you don't even have to worry about punch rushes anymore

Hope they make that movie after Part 6 is done so the alternate universe can have a little bit of time to breathe (and I kinda want the opening of Part 7 to reference Part 8 and 9, just like Sono Chi No Sadame referenced 2-6 so I need the Part 7 anime to wait a little bit for Part 9 to show up). Other than that, Purple Haze Feedback is simply just very good, fleshes out Fugo and even Giorno, Mista and Trish and also further connects Part 5 to Parts 1 and 4 in ways I don’t want to spoil.
I'm definitely late saying this and someone else probably already explained most likely, but what happened here at 31:32 is, Funny Valentine used his stand ability to take his opponent to another universe, then makes the original opponent crash into the alternate universe opponent, causing severe injuries. This is also shown in the manga when Diego Brando AU meets Lucy Steel. Lucy kept a bag with the original Diego's head in it, making it combine with AU Diego causing him to perish. So yeah, that's basically what happened.

Long story short: valentine can travel universes bring things from other universes and basically just be immortal. BUT if two items that aren’t him come into contact they try and fuse and explode. Basically the “two of the same unique item cannot exist in the same universe at the same time.” Trope.
Furthermore josuke part 8 can steal one thing if his bubbles touch you. Basically you touch a bubble you get fucked in some major way. The steals are including but not limited to: sight,sound,taste,touch,friction.

By doing a HHA with Johnny his stand evovles into a different Act (Until Act 4). Each Act also has a different HHA, so essentiallythere were 3 different Johnny supers missing (HHAs for Acts 2, 3 & 4).
Using his GHA also takes the Act of his stand straight to Act 4 btw.

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR PART 6 IF UR READING THIS
part 6 is pretty good especially the last 3rd which is amazing. Really liked Rykiel and Versus too. And the final fight is great and weather report (the stand) at the end is amazing. The Weather backstory is tragic and pucci is a real good bastard of a villain and a very involved one. A lot of the fights and stands are really cool even if some are a bit mid. But idk the cast feels kinda weak. FF was real interesting but died to early, Anasui even tho he has one of the coolest stands and character designs in the series is extremely boring (and annoying imo). Emporio is a big non-character until the final arc in which hes pretty cool. Ermes is great and Weather is real interesting (even if his sudden angsty cool boy phase after he gets his memory back feels a bit OTT and sudden). Jolyne is fun but shes no Josuke or Joseph but shes pretty cool.

Ferdinand) corpses and so Diego retains the power to transform and turn other people or things in to dinosaurs i understand if you dont get it cause even i got confused when reading the manga

The reason Fugo ultimate black and white is because it's a game made by a Asian company so they censor the blood and the gore like stuff. It would be much cooler if they add the gore though
I get it with the black blood effects, but the disintegration is just way easier to animate in black and white, else they would have to add a unique animation for every character being disintegrated. Same goes for Bucciarati, I wish he would zip them apart like he did with Pesci in the anime, but they would have to make an animation for every character
