- While the Olympic Games in Paris are edging closer, the window for a guaranteed spot is getting smaller! Of the athletes qualified, Taylor Knibb makes history by qualifying for not only the triathlon, but also the TT cycling event. On the other end of the spectrum, the Netherlands tri team leaves it to the last minute to guarantee their spot at Paris 2024.

High! I think the podium will be Beth Potter, Taylor Knibb and Cassandre Beaugrand. That prediction might change based on Cagliari performances though!

Someone needs to talk about ironman's mistake letting the swim happen at morro bay 70.3
The Strava leaderboards can be cleaned up using traditional statistical methods. By invoking AI in this context, they're either using a nuclear missile to swat a mosquito or they're just labelling their algorithm as "AI" to be buzzword-complaint. Why, yes, I am a data scientist. 🤓

I actually downloaded MUUVR when you guys first mentioned it months ago. After the show last week, I made sure to follow Mark (I'm pretty sure it was the correct Mark), James, and Daniela on it! 😁

Hey? I qualified for World Triathlon event in Pontevedra Spain in 2025. OK, OK, its just for an age group spot 65 - 69 in the sprint Duathlon but it is going to be the first world event get together I will be at. Not as exciting as the pro news but I'm pumped.
Taylor is an uber cyclist, she is just amazing.

I had taken a fall at 40km/h, but you had to be really super careful. A head on with anything only multiplies the momentum and makes it harder to fall properly. I was lucky I didn't break my neck or have a concussion, but there was lots of blood. I knew to bail out and my shoulders took the brunt. If you hit a car there just isn't enough time to put yourself in the right posture.
Also: maybe it's possible to attach a pulse ox to an ear lobe with a chest strap if you wanted to get SpO_2 data? 100% ns about that.

Why not show the women' split times at Chattanooga? Also, you didn't mention the disintegration of the men's leader, Nicholas Quenet towards the end of the run at Chattanooga. He was dominant until he succumbed to the heat and humidity.

Realizing I might just be jealous or something- but am I the only one that thinks all these “x” number of Ironmans distance in a row has sort of left sport behind and now it’s just about torturing yourself to get attention? How about the record number of Ironmans whilst hitting yourself in the groin with a hammer? Number of Ironmans while getting hit in the face by a pro boxer?
Your two record ideas don't sound much fun, to be honest
