Louis' paranoia damages his newly formed friendship with Mike.
Season 02, Episode 04, Meet The Boss,
Hoping to make a point during the Senior Partners meeting, Jessica assigns Harvey to a nurses' union negotiation case that, by all rights, should be Daniel Hardman's. Hardman offers Harvey an assist, but as Jessica makes it clear to Harvey, she wants the prodigal partner put in his place. Hard. Relishing the chance to step on Hardman a little more, Harvey saddles the firm's number two with pro bono cases.

Show Synopsis: "Suits" delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot associate Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht, “Love & Other Drugs”) makes a risky move by hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

"Lewis's part are tingling" - Mike Ross, a genius lawyer with photographic memory
“Things.”
“That is not a legitimate answer!!”
This is my favourite episode of the entire show.
Very suspect answer
"...Things"
"I prefer the geneva convention." The greatest line in this season in my opinion
@@DRsx4 it’s a series of treaty’s for the treatment of people in wars
Lol
I prefer “things”.
@@DRsx4 Its officially called the Geneva convention but we all know its called the Geneva Suggestion
Mine is "things" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Louis is a great character because we got to see him grow thru the entire series. At 6:10 perfectly explains it.
😂😂😂😂
Imo It got a lot lot worse before it got better!
"You can't do that to people and expect them to forget about it and move on."
"They should."
"Would you?"
That's powerful to me.
Well said
It would be in Louis favor too how Harvey and Mike treated him
Broke my heart seeing Louis throw away the cake 🥲
I agree with you
That first I felt for Louise
@@Eren-da-Jaeger “Louise”😂😂😂
Harvey and mike were jerks then. They deserve bad things to come to them
The way mike says 'That's not a legitimate answer" i lost it 😂😂😂
Personally i think the “yeah, I can keep it real” was one of the funniest lines he’s said.
It was HILARIOUS
the lack of hesitation was what got to me.
That was HILARIOUS 😂😂😂
4:25 "You can't object to your own witness!"
Rottenborn: "Wait, what?!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol, that’s right, and MsTurd retained him for the appeal!! 😆
[Spoilers if you haven't seen the entire series]
I think they missed a great writing opportunity. Mike works well with nearly anyone, Louis desperately needed a coworker/friend. Harvey is sort of like a coworker/friend but also rival. Perhaps if they gave Mike/Louis more time together as a team, Harvey could have warmed up to Louis (through Mike). I wasn't a fan of Louis being an emotional wreck seemingly every season.
Absolutely. Mike was able to adapt to pretty much everyone's style. Even Hardman and Rachels dad was fond of mike. The writers definitely missed an opportunity by not having Mike work work more with Louis or even using mike as a bridge for Harvey and Louis to form a friendship.
That’s me. I’m Louis 😭😪
Honestly, season 3 should've had Mike be on Team Louis for longer than just 1 episode.
The thing I find funny is how Harvey and Louis situations end at the end of the series.
I love their relationship and I think their friendship could have been amazing
Louis character is so great and the acting is amazing!
the starting conversation between harvey and louis was awesome......
that confused "dehh?" mike gives at 1:50 is still one of my favorite moments
It is hilarious. I think he was going for " that's not how it works" 😂
This whole firm is a walking HR problem, character & fitness complaint and any other employment lawsuit you could think of. It's excellent. LOL
As someone who works in HR, I love your statement xDD
Louis telling mike he can wait till the afternoon then mike coming in in the morning is one of my favourite moments of the season
I mean, he is way too sensitive and has way too many lets say soft spots, but besides that, Louis is a massive massive lawyer when he's serious.
And the king of bylaws!
He is definitely massive in the later seasons.
Louis pulled a Harvey. "Don't play the odds, play the man"
“As far as im concerned this whole conversation is punishment” -Harvey Specter
"when i tell you to wipe out a village you ask me HOW HIGH?"
🤣 🤣 🤣 He said the same thing to Donna when she threw her weight around as COO
My spider parts are tingling, please dont ever say things like that! 😂😂😂
7:36 I don’t even want to know what that means and how do you even know that.. Harvey’s expressions 😂😂😂
"Yeah I can keep it real" 😂
I love Louis character arc during this series. When the show first started, I couldn't stand him at the beginning, but near the end he is one of my favorite characters on the show
"That is not a legitimate answer"🤣🤣
“What you do want to do to him?”
Louis: Things.
Classic Louis Litt
0:20 the way Louis says “Things.” 🤣🤣🤣
Louis is an underappreciated character
Louis face at the start, that devilish squinting half-smile… love this guy))
Louis: “What can I do to him?”
Harvey: “What do you want to do to him?”
Mike: “Harvey!”
*pause*
Louis: “things”
That is not a legitimate answer
Best line in the whole show...
😏
Best part 🤣
Love the way Louis is played by Rick Hoffman
"he's not a bad lawyer' - Harvey NEVER compliments people, that short statement speaks volumes to how Harvey feels about Lewis, it's wasn't emotional it wasn't a way to get Louis to do what he wanted it was just his truth.
Literally one of my favorite parts of season 1
it's season 2. hardman is actually a different actor during the pilot episode and doesnt appear again until season 2 ep 1
@@meharabchoudhury38 I know 😂
From my head:
1 Different Hardman in pilot
2 Mike can('t) drive a car
3 Different interior style at Pearson in pilot.
Mistakes, but they doesn't mean anything, such 'mistakes' are simply funny
"I forgot, well yeah it's been a long time since I've seen it" the man lied as easily as he breathed
This really was sad that Louis and Mike didn’t get along after this 😔
The turning point was Louis forgiving him once he found out Mikes secret Louis always respected Mike but didn't take his advice seriously until that point
The thing I like more about this series is they mentioned the character's name quite often
Louis is the best character on the show, hands down.
7:13 The funny thing here is I just realised Mike sounds like spiderman's voice from The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon.
"If i ask you to wipe out a village. you say how high"
"Things..." 🤣🤣🤣
8:36 😂 Louis, Go away
😂 This whole conversation is punishment! 😂
Man I wanted to see a whole season of Mike and Louis working together
Fun fact: Red Bull got sued and lost after a man sued because he didn't receive his wings drinking it. 😂
"They should!" 🤣🤣🤣
i havent watched a single episode of suits yet, but i love the chemistry between these two
Louis is the kind of lawyer you cant stand until he is representing you.....
Lol. The guy who remembers everything, said he forgot the movie quote, and Luis believes him.
Said the exact same thing to myself 😂
1:26 Loius's face, 😂😂
I think I need a sick day
Everytime Louis has an opportunity to choose the right thing to do or himself every single time he chooses himself and that's why no one but hardman has anything to do with him
Matt: "Lewis, can I be honest with you?"
lewis: "Yeah; I can keep it real."
😂😂😂😂😂
"You can't object to your own witness." Someone should have told Amber Heard's lawyer...
Why are you censoring😭Whomever you are reporting this channel. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and I will Sue you."
Imma use “weakens the legs and clouds the mind” as the reason I have no sec
8:10 the recorder is in his hand, then it's not, then it is... lol He may or may not have snuck it Harvey's office.
"My spider parts are tingling." 💀💀💀
Never noticed how Louis is holding is dictaphone in his hand while waiting for Harvey and you see it gone as he talks to Harvey. Guess he was holding on to the hope to be useful before he planted the dictaphone
Louis is an amazing character! Love him!
8:50 knew they'd be at it again lol 😅
2:42 no way is that man 44
Hardman saw the distress and lounged at the opportunity
Come in by 7 and leave by 10?..that’s not gonna happen
7 am to 10 am sounds great haha!
@@DivisonXxI mean, I prefer having enough hours to afford my bills but you do you.
@@Blasted2Oblivion I prefer to not need 15hours a day just to cover my bills, but you do you.
@@nardinit my comment was to the guy joking about 3hrs. Not the actual 15hrs.
My fav line ..
I ask you to wipe out a village.
You say, how high?
The more I watched the show, the more I wanted to see Louis and his story.
I mean the metaphor "when i say blow up a village and you say how high" does actually work lol
working 7am - 10pm? i assume his normal shift isn't far off from that. what's the point of making a bunch of money if you're hardly ever away from your job to enjoy it?
and in reality Lewis would have been fired right after episode 1 where he tried to take harvey's client. Mike could have just been an advisor and not went to court. Donna has super powers and there are no rules at this law firm lol
Hence why Saul Goodman would mop the floor with this entire firm.
@@rainehernandez8345 Saul would destroy mike
advisor literally sitting at the sideline watching people, and I don't think he want that kind of life where he can do something, but unable to
Yeah that's why we watch fictional TV shows, because we just love being exposed to more ordinary reality.
Saul godman vs Louis litt would be the case to watch
Louis clearly loves Rocky.
"What do you want to do to him". Harvey Spector
Louis is real stud in suits
What if Louis was bluffing?
Kevin would've given up his company for nothing. Too besides, no other company will hire him after what he did
WHAT A LEGEND
S02E03 Meet the New Boss
S02E04 is discovery (which is the episode, btw)
5:38 Daniel Hardman holding a paper and looking at Louis. Daniel Hardman, J.D. was the co-founder of Pearson Hardman. He is an attorney and was the former managing partner before Jessica Pearson and Harvey Specter ousted him from the firm by threatening to expose his extramarital affair with an attorney at the firm to his wife Alicia, who was dying of cancer.
Mike Forgot??? HAHAHA
Lol, they are censuring bad words now
Right?! This is one of the ones that NEEDS those words lol
The RUclips algorythm was probably flagging him too much
@@realmdarkness that just tells me I should probably stop cursing in my videos then
🤣🤣
@@JehutyYT If you keep getting flagged for it, then yeah
The VP was the real G, Louis helped him realize how far he's sticking his neck out for people that constantly ignored him and blocked his promotion. Why should he be helping them b.s. their way through court. He decided to tell the truth rather then ridk his future for people that don't care about it at all.
H-What do you want to do to him?
L-Things…
M- That is not a legitimate answer!
He has an owner now.
Harvey: "Under bounds of employee labor law?"
Louis: "I prefer the Geneva Convention 😈."
Louis and mike should've worked more cases
Louis is giving work to mike who is not qualified to be a lawyer .so funny
"That was pretty spectacular wasn't it?" hearts
some of the things Louis sais is just 💀💀
Louis is the Dwight of this show
5:12 he forgot?
I really liked this louis and believe that what they did to his character in the later seasons was bad
Could you elaborate? I liked Louis all the time.
5:38 daniel hardman is that YOUUUU???
Juridiction? Exclusive hahaha
Every time I see Louis, he reminds me of Nixon.
This sounds like the guy that sued red bull because he didn't get wings. And he won
That wasn't the actual claim of the lawsuit. The guy sued Red Bull for falsely advertising that the drink gives some sort of physical enhancement, when its just a caffeinated drink.
@@joshuatan6937 caffeine is an enhancement..
@@KB-vz9zc its not a physical enhancement like protein or vitamins
Reminder boys: No s*x, weakens the legs and clouds your judgment
So did Harvey pushed Mike throughout the whole office? Lol
Being a louis is har, funny thing is, in life almost everyones a louis.
Felt bad for louis they treated him harshly until like season 6 or 7
“If I ask you to wipe out a village you ask how high”
5:10 man with an eidetic memory forgets a quote from chariots of fire….hmm
He never actually saw the movie but was trying to let Louis down gently
In by 7, out by 10. So 15hour days?
I had no idea what this show was until random RUclips shorts showed me and it's honestly a great show
In by 7 out by 10? A 15 hour day??? Jeez
Hardwork really does pay off… spoiler alert… Louis worked so hard that he went all the way to the top at the firm by the end of it..
🙌
