      And he kept recording so much because he had a plan to pause on music for awhile so he could focus more on acting and directing movies. He didn't record so much because he thought he was going to die but because he wanted to go off and do more than music. He wanted to live. Facts.

    If it wasn't for Tupac Shakur I probably wouldn't have survived in America as a Black Man. He influenced me to study not only my history as far as race and politics but also to look inward into meditation, mysticism and the mystery surrounding energy and good judgement. His music inspired me on so many levels and im grateful to be a part of his legacy as one of his students. This is without question the most influential hip hop artist to have ever lived and make a change in the world. Nobody can ever take away the impact 2Pac has made on the world. Was minding so much about the future, he was truely transforming, and DEATH took him away such that we can pick a lesson from his death.
    Truth, to be told according to his background, He 2pac was living and doing things and reasoning even in his songs beyond his age .

I was 16 when he died & remember it to this day coming on MTV news. I had been playing All eyes on me that year & couldn’t believe he was gone. He had only just joined death row. Suge and Puffy would have sweetened the respective pots to have kept their top artists for a few more years. People need to stop being conspiratorial by making it sound like their departure from their respective labels was imminent at the time they were both murdered.

    think there was def some turmoil and drama towards the end between he and deathrow/suge. it was the same thing that happened to everyone else at deathrow, and often what happens in business, is that unless you are the owner, you are just an employee. tupac the artist was an employee of deathrow. pac was so focused on revenge and gettign out of prison, that he did not focus on the finer details. As much as Suge was exploiting pac in the beginning and getting the most out of his investment, towards the end he realized pac was different than Snoop and Dre in terms of loyalty and they formed a real friendship. Ofcourse, doesn;t hurt he saw huge dollar signs with pac, so he was planning on helping to develop makaveli records underneath deathrow for pac while also giving him deathrow east. If pac lived long enough, its hard to say if he stays with deathrow long term. However, based on suge's history of being obsessed with street politics, i highly doubt pac would have survived it because the only way it was going to end with suge's leadership style was prison or death. Pac was a loyal dude, and he had backed himself in a real corner by going all in wiht Suge. He had no choice but to stay with Suge because he had developed so many enemies.

    Just wondering with who he was on the phone when he said that. If it was Suge, the beef was real. NY altercation and now this. In the end, death row got what they wanted, keeping his masters which he would have probably gotten via lawsuit or if not just destroyed them like he threatened. This plus him leaving would have ruined death row, because Snoop and Doggpound would have left too, especially after what happened at mtv music awards. The label would have been fucked up for good without the ability to release anything relevant.

    Mutah aka Napoleon of the Outlawz has been outspoken about Allen Hughes, who somehow wormed his way into doing the Dear Mama documentary. Hughes described Pac as "delusional" and a "performance artist" who wasn't a real street dude, during an Art of Dialogue interview promoting the film. 2Pac said he was gonna start Makaveli records & sign himself to the label. He would leave DR as an artist (3-album deal done) but the label's records would be distributed by DR. Also, Pac was gonna help start DR East with Suge by recruiting talent for him. People are talking conspiracy BS and not listening to Pac or looking at his actions.

    • @davidsamuels9557
      @davidsamuels9557 7 месяцев назад

      That is absolute nonsense. Eric B was running Death Row East. Rap Coalition founder Wendy Day said Pac told her he was leaving Death Row, and asked her to help him get Makaveli Records up and running. She was working in that capacity when Pac was murdered. Pac had fired DR attorney David Kenner and the DR security team. According to Michael Carlin's RUclips channel, Pac planned to have DR audited. Pac had multi-million dollar offers on the table to do music and films, including Quincy Jones' Qwest Records. Nate Dogg said Pac recorded Makaveli so fast because it was the last album that he owed DR.
      Pac was about to launch Euphanasia, an umbrella company that would have produced movies and developed community organizing initiatives. Pac had announced in a Vibe magazine interview that he was going to run for office, and start an independent political party for disenfranchised people of color. The FBI was afraid that Pac was going to revive the Black Panther Party.
      Pac was writing a screenplay; a handwritten note from the screenplay listed Biggie as one of the people he wanted to star in the film. Pac also planned to produce and star in a biopic about Nat Turner.
      Pac briefly mentioned Euphanasia during a mainstream media interview, but said he couldn't go into detail because he needed a few more weeks to "lock it down".

      Not actually. Dre was Dre (NWA) way B4 Suge. And Pac already had Dear Moma, Brenda's Got. A Baby. They boy was already a high profile artist. B4 he aligned with Death Row. As far as Snoop go, he linked with Dre and by default of Suge & Dre's mission (Death Row) he benefited most at that time. Rightfully so the kid was DOPE.

      He was still under contract with Interscope Suge was his manager why do you think Interscope is still over whatever album is still put out whenever the estate do put any album or merchandise out Interscope is always there that’s why Pac changed his rap name to Makaveli and Suge showed him how to start his on label the night in Vegas messed up a sxxt ton of money Deathrow would have been a distribution company company that would have had Pac running Makaveli Records and Snoop running Doggystyle Records and the music scene would have been greater than what it is today
