Hey, fantastic video! I am looking at getting a camper ready for 2024. It would be my first Tour. How early would you recommend getting to D"Huez before race day to get set up in a good spot? Thanks in advance, Dazzapaz
Hey... if you are planning to place the camper on the side of the road for a mountain stage finish climb I would advise you to go at least 2 days before the stage passes so to find a good spot. For Alpe d'Huez I believe that it's even earlier as it is verry popular. If you just go with your bike (and camper left somewhere in the valley) then you can climb it few hours before the Caravan and riders pass.
