I'm a kikuyu married to a lovely kalenjin husband when my husband brings me to my father's home he goes back to our house where by the journey takes 7 hours.. it's a taboo also with kalenjins to sleep at Mum in love home

I have never tasted goat's milk but I heard it very healthy for you. Here in Barbados we had lots of donkeys but we dont even see them now the donkey is a very strong and hard working animal. The ownership of land that you guys possess just simply amaze me and how you use your land for it's natural usage for your crops, food. As a black american, I can only imagine what life was like for my ancestors before they were brought to this country it was rich in resources hard work but yet still in labor of love. Your videos open my eye to the heritage that we lost. I know nothing about African culture. But your video brings so much enrichment to my heart and understanding. Those are respected clothes they are kikuyu tribe clothes , back to your question: in our tribe which is kikuyu peter can’t spend a night in Helena’s parents home is a taboo and if he does he has to pay a fine community elders wearing brown clothes with a walking stick and a goat skin will sermon him and his father in-law, there will be an offering to apiece the gods of Gikuyu because peter and his in-laws has gone against him failure to which calamity befalls the both families we have seen people thinking that the god who our forefathers worshiped before Christian is a joke and he has striked them hard and joy’s father can’t spend a night in Helenas house is a taboo
Something else peter has paid a bride price on Helena’s head so helena does not have a room in her mother’s house she now belongs to another family that is peters family.
