New remix of Michael Jackson's unreleased Thriller outtake, "Hot Street". My goal was to give it a more finalized sound vs. the demo versions circulating. AI tools were used to extract the elements from a few sources, enabling me to mix the song as if I had the masters.
The elements used:
"Hot Street" (demo) - drums, synths, bass, vocals, guitar
"Slapstick" (demo) - synths, solo
"Human Nature" - synth bells (sampled in the last chorus)
"P.Y.T." - guitar (sampled and re-pitched in the last chorus)
AI vocals fixing the few flubbed lines in the demo, and adding some additional harmonies in the final chorus

99% of the vocals here are MJ's, just to be clear haha. I fixed the flubbed lines in the 2nd verse, and added some harmonies at the end. My main goal here was to present the song as a more finalized version vs the circulating versions. I've started a few others which have full vocal performances, and they are challenging to say the least. It ain't gonna sound like him if the performance isn't MJ-ey.
