The award winning Dometic's CFX3 is the best single zone electric cooler to use as a car fridge or freezer, reaching temperatures as low as -7°F, while using less power than a 60W light bulb.

I love my CFX3 35! (35 litre) It works great in the camp van with a MAXX 12 volt DC deep cycle battery from Walmart and a solar panel to keep the battery topped off on full, or in the cabin off of the Outback home solar power system at 110 volts AC. The 35 litre model seems to be just right for me, but I like this 25 litre model also.

@@dapperdingo thanks for your comment and insight! I would love a 35L but with limited space I had to stick to the smaller version. It the future I hope to upgrade to something larger!!

@@WhyWeLikeIt I didn't know they had a 25 litre till now. I bought the 35 litre with protective cover also, last year, but would probably have boughten the 25 since I wanted the smallest fridge on the planet at the time. I also have two of the very large portable Dometics that I bought about 3 years ago. All 12v/24v and 110v. Great fridges!

Thanks for the video. Did you consider getting cfx3 35 instead? I can get it for about same price but wonder if it's too big for me and my wife.

Thanks for the question Nick! If you can fit it get the 35 for sure! I had to go with the 25L because of space (the table on the back door takes up some room when everything is folded up) depending on what we are taking with us I have had to get creative on packing somethings to make room. I guess one good thing about being limited on space is that packing the fridge has helped in meal prep and planning. But if you can get something bigger (even the 45L) try to do that. What ever size you go with, make a video and share it with us, I’d love to see your set up!!

Hey mate. I am planning on buying this for my defender 110. The car has got a domestic plug point. Can I use that to power it up.

Thanks for the question - the Dometic can be powered by AC (110-240), DC (12 / 24 volt) so you should have no issues running it off a domestic plug.

Hey, I appreciate your comment, sorry to hear that yours is noisy. I rarely hear mine kick on at all. You may want to reach out to Dometic and speak with them about this. Maybe it’s a warranty issue. These are expensive units so if you have an issue, definitely let the company know. They’ve been very responsive when I’ve reached out to them in the past.
