Small block Windsor, not an FE big block. Beautiful car though!! Just two suggestions here...you should install rim screws on the rears to keep the wheel from moving (rotating) inside the tire, and a good quality engine diaper!
Correct, this is not an FE, but as the intake says, it is a 9.2 deck (351C deck height) with Windsor heads. The super victor 9.2 is special made by Edelbrock for this configuration.

Definitely a stoked 351W. FE engines are quite different. Besides the 351W intake manifold. FE intakes are part of the valve cover surface. Much wider and very unique.
No its a 390 from what the owner told me. NOTE...Went back to listen to the audio which was taken in the pits with lots of noise and he says 398. I thought he said 390,398. It was hard to decipher with all the noise and had to asked him twice. My mistake sorry for the confusion.
@@RACEYOURRIDE You wouldn't know a Ford FE motor if one fell on you. That is a 351W that maybe has a stroker kit in it. The intake says 351W on it! Windsor short blocks are actually more stout than the Cleveland and they have priority main (crank bearings) oiling which the Cleveland does not have. The only thing special about the Clevelands were the canted valve heads. A good set of modern aftermarket Windsor heads will flow as much or more than a Cleveland.
@@danmyers9372 Alot of the Cleveland oiling problems are nothing but a myth anything of short of pro stock racing is not a problem just like most any other motor. I'm not knocking the car, it's an awesome ride and may have had an FE in it at one time but that's no FE in the car in the video. It's a 385 series big block (429-460). A 390 would be an FE.
