Bret longsword is my favorite weapon in the game. Definitely have most of my hours using it and with majority of those hours using it on grail knight. I find that the moveset for it makes it really optimal for headshots, and combining that with the knights challenge passive of grail knight it becomes an absolute damage power house. Noticed in your gameplay clip at the end you were going almost exclusively for body shots so I just wanted to suggest that you might like the feel of the weapon more with that in mind.
Love the ending, watched whole video coz of sabaton, and im not disappointed. You can survive against all odds, but not one hooky boi, its just like real life
Blocking with heavy attacks is actually very powerful. The idea is that you shouldn't try to use this as normal block, but instead delay your release, when you need to block. Releasing heavy attack after you block with is one of the fastest way to attack after you block something
I’d recommend ‘light 1, into heavy 2, repeat’ once you have swift slaying or paced strikes up. It’s a significantly stronger anti horde combo than light 1,2, cancel and the added defence you get from blocking with the heavy attack negates the need to double down on attack speed, so you can run BCR instead.
Light1-Block is also much better than Light1-Light 2 block. Basically the best horde clear is: L1-block until SS activates then L1-H2 loop until SS ends and back to L1-Block until SS activates again. Bit awkward to get used to, but man is it effective when you do.
Ah yes my favorite game, Dark Souls.
Haha
Came for the video, stayed for the Sabaton.

I DODGED IT TOO but I was early. I was on an adrenaline high and reacted too quick :(

Isn’t it like the best kruber melee? It always kills faster than the executioner sword
I just want hunting spear on footknight.
What a dream

Thanks for the tip! I’ll try it

L1 H2 L2 then just use the infinite loop of H2 l2 for horde clear
why no headshots?
i love kruber but i dont have any weapon that fits in mervenary for me :(
Bret sword is good if u have dlc.
Great sword is good, but you didnt have ability to kill elite (switch to gun), but still good with horde.
