My first minecraft house always seems to be a literal hole I dug into a wall somewhere that I decorate as I go Always has been, ever since my first save in the early 2010s, back when I was still too young to drink. I pride myself on my creativity and dedication when it comes to my minecraft builds, but when I start a new world I don't think I've ever built a freestanding structure until well after I've finished making my home in the side of some random cliff I found about 30 blocks from spawn. Edit: Correction, I remember once or twice making a house on a random island in the middle of the ocean. The most recent time i literally just put up a box to hide my bed in before immediately mining out another island like 10 blocks out.
It's probably bsl. That's one of the best. Really does the whole environment aesthetic with the lighting and stuff but without making it _too_ realistic like some other shaders
Gotta say, this is definitely a nice starter base. Though I would trade out the grass blocks with wood and the glass with a fence post, since that is easier to make quickly and less likely to be taken by a wandering Enderman.

The idea is in my world, starting from spawn to my improved village (the distance is far) a new player who decides to join will have to walk all the way there and with my idea, there will be short stops (the house in the video) for the player to rest and sleep at night… If no one joins; then, I guess it’ll just be for aesthetics. 😢 (P.S. I will variate the block palette based on the biome)
