This album is their most technical IMO like it and love their early stuff.Recommend their Pit of Consciousness live Kiev a very heavy song in their home country Ukraine with excellent audio and camera work 🤘🏼
what's funny to me as a non-musician is that my feeling was this was their most fun album and I thought the detractors were upset that it wasn't serious enough. Then again, I learned to spar with broken rhythm in martial arts by dancing to the likes of Skinny Puppy at goth-industrial clubs and then imagining that is what I was doing as I sparred, so my tastes might not be representative heh.
Great reaction! I love Disclosure! Always love Jinjer! Love the layering you mentioned in the beginning, and definitely big smiles for Jinjer being heavy as f. Things I read about this video: 1. It definitely refers to media and state narratives pushed, and it's about a particular interviewer that tried to paint Jinjer as unpatriotic ("disclosing" Jinjer as unpatriotic). 2. The Russian and Ukrainian slang for police is "trash", so they take him (policeman representing the interviewer, played by Dmitry Oksen former Jinjer guitarist turned actor) to the dump. 3. It's really important when Tatiana shows her Ukrainian passport, like the band is saying to critics who call them unpatriotic, "yes, we're still Ukrainian even though we disagree about some things". I'm with Jinjer: I think it's pretty horrifying that the US helped a Ukrainian neonazi militia to be incorporated into the Ukrainian military (see Moderate Rebels on RUclips), our fascism begets fascism worldwide (see Killing Hope by William Blum - CIA and US Military Interventions since WWII). There's a lot more detail about this Jinjer video in a great video by MetalGearShady: "Jinjer Disclosure! official video context / song background analysis / overview" ruclips.net/video/bKchrcr_ibs/видео.html Thank you always for bringing more of the fantastic music of Jinjer to more people! ❤🖤🤘
Hello there! I just started watching your vids and honestly i love it. You’re just trying new stuff and going right into the point: reacting. I’ve got a couple recommendations that i think you would end up LOVING. CIX - Jungle League of legends - Rise ITZY - Loco Jessi - Cold blooded
Hi Martine! Its defenently the plan to do more Nightwish! It has been busy days in the studio lately, so I have not been able to make a lot of videos, but its coming! I was thinking a live version of «The Poet and the Pendulum» is about time
@@torprod4347 It would be nice if you could find some time for more Nightwish. The Poet And The Pendulum is awesome. Di you know the backstory of this song?
It is a really fun song with a nice balance between technical complexity and agressive fun. The entire album Wallflowers is bangers.
