Other opposite phrasal verbs I know are; ① get in ⇔ get out ② come in ⇔ come out ③ get into ⇔ get out of ④ get on ⇔ get off ⑤ squat down ⇔ stand up ⑥ take in ⇔ brush off ⑦ wake up ⇔ go out ⑧ turn on ⇔ turn off Would you do me a favour? Please don't hesitate to give me blue pencil on my homework😅😅😅 . In Nagasaki,the cherry blossoms are expected to bloom on March 21st.The day falls on the spring equinox this year.In Japan,the Vernal Equinox Day is one of the national holidays.In addition to that,Japanese officials announced all COVID-19 restrictions in Tokyo and 17 areas will be lifted on March 21.So,I guess many people will enjoy cherry-blossom viewing from the day on in Nagasaki and other places.Cherry blossoms are a symbol of spring for Japanese people.Japanese people love cherry blossoms because they are transient and only bloom for a short period of time.Viewing cherry blossoms reminds me that life is short but beautiful. Being able to enjoy 'Hanami' is one of the many things I miss about living in Japan. I like your statement: "Viewing cherry blossoms reminds me that life is short but beautiful."🤩 Did you know that in Toronto's High Park we have some sakura trees which were donated by the Japanese government? The trees there don't bloom until late April or early May though, and the park becomes too crowded at that time😅. Actually the park was completely shut down for the last two years due to COVID, but similar to Japan, Ontario is starting to lift almost all restrictions. Personally, I think this is a bad idea. Cases continue to increase and a virus doesn't suddenly go away because you want it to. Eliminating masks in public places in dangerous in my opinion, so I will continue to wear one and do my best to stay away from others. I hope that you and your family will also continue to stay safe and healthy ✨. Good afternoon Jen, unfortunately Things haven’t changed much from since we last spoke even if Aunt is doing so much better but she’s still not coping well with this war, we all hope it ends soon! I never really thought of other opposite phrasal verbs I knew but I think if that’s a phrase a verb to get up and lay down would be opposite or I probably know many more but it’s kind of hard to think with the situation going on! If something is' turned around on you', it means that something you have said or done in the past is coming back and now being used against you negatively. As for to 'roll up on someone', being a white Canadian woman, I had never heard that expression before. However, I looked it up and it seems to be African-American slang meaning to sneak up on someone with the intention of causing them harm. I hope that helps 🤗.

If something is' turned around on you', it means that something you have said or done in the past is coming back and now being used against you negatively.
As for to 'roll up on someone', being a white Canadian woman, I had never heard that expression before. However, I looked it up and it seems to be African-American slang meaning to sneak up on someone with the intention of causing them harm.
