    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  7 месяцев назад +1

      Bonjour Linda! Thank you for taking the time to ask a question. "Clothing" is just another way to say "clothes". "One" is used to talk about someone in general. One's clothing can mean: my clothes, your clothes, his clothes, her clothes, our clothes, their clothes. "One's" is just an easy way to replace all of those possessive pronouns.

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hmmm... they are slightly different.😅 "Eat out" as explained in the video is not separable whereas the meaning you are referring to requires the phrasal verb and the preposition to be separated. Eat (someone/something) out.
      Cheers! 😅

    Thank you so much for the video, I do appreciate it.
    I like learning phrasal verbs.
    There are a lot of them and instead of talking literally you can use these.
    Of course it is also important to know the contecst, since if you know one definition of a phrasal verb, firstly you're going to misunderstand the meaning and secondly you're going not to understand this at all.😊😊
    Anyway to my mind they are pretty lit.

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  7 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! You can say eat in but we usually say "order in" or "have food delivered" when referring to food that was delivered to your house. So you could say, "We ordered in tonight" or "We had food delivered."
