Leyland Festival Parade 2009

Leyland Festival parade is a traditional highlight of the Leyland festival Weekend. The parade route goes along Hough Lane from the McDonald’s roundabout right through Leyland town centre, past Tesco and round to Worden Park. It takes about an hour for the parade procession to go through the town.
The parade is made up of festival floats, a walking procession and some of the cars from the festival car show.
Community groups, dance troupes, bands and entertainers all take part in the parade to make it a fun, exciting start to festival day.
