"Leyland Homecoming 2010" was held over the weekend of 10 and 11 July. It followed the success of last year's Leyland Transport Festival, which attracted all manner of Leyland Vehicles new and old, not to mention more than 10,000 visitors. A huge variety of Leyland trucks including vintage vehicles and modern goliaths paraded through the streets of their home town.

Great Harwood Otter Amateur Swimming Club was founded in 1968 at the Mercer Hall Great Harwood which was their home until March 2020. They are now based at Accrington Academy. Jonny and Emma called to check out one of their many fund raising events 'Wet Nose Day' in support of the BBC's Red Nose Day appeal.
