too bad I'm stuck on quest ‘My New Home’ because i don't have the playlist for weird reasons, and I'm not alone on this, forum is filled with this same problem.
Temporary fix for this: Have someone else who has learned the song invite you to play music with them and you should be able to progress with your quest once you finish playing the song.
I also had trouble with it. I'll learned the song by opening my invertory and by the qeust items there should be a little paper you can double click. It's easy to mis. If there's no paper to click follow Andrew's advice
Look in the quest items in your inventory.

I'm a South African we always play with high ping. It doesn't bother us anymore haha. I'm playing on EU - Barri Server
How do I find music
Each time you play music your music trade skill will level. When hitting new levels you'll unlock new music
nope....tried fishing with all my gear and trophies, and again with nothing;. Gear/trophies don't matter.
Problem is half the players can't complete the quest
