      @@AestheticAutoDetailing I'm finding out that if you just show up and do a quality job then there will be plenty of work. That's the biggest complaint I keep hearing over and over.

    great video, great info! How many years did you wait until you got a license as well as insurance?

      I’ve been in business since 2009. Do not wait on business insurance. Anybody providing a professional service should be LICENSED & INSURED. You’re in this to make a living.. not to fuck around and make other people in the industry look bad. Having a legal business also grants you ability to get a line of credit for your business, purchase vehicles under your LLC, and even buy yourself a house

      I was in business for roughly 2 years (part time) until I became legitimate with the business license and business insurance. Like @butskiiueepp1625 mentioned, do not wait on being licensed and insured. Just a reminder, accidents do happen.

      How Do You Get A Buisness License And Is It Only Valid In That Specific City?

    • @AestheticAutoDetailing
      @AestheticAutoDetailing  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@UNRIVALED.LOSANGELES you have to go online and file your business with your state (I’m assuming CA) once you do that, you have to wait for them to give you your EIN (Employer Identification Number). If you haven’t done so yet, I suggest deciding on how you want to form your business. For example, sole proprietor, LLC, S-corps, and so on. Find what works best for you. Once you become legitimate with the state, the you’ll most likely have to pay fees for the city as well. Just a heads up. The internet helped me out a lot with these steps.

    Hey Jerry, I have a question. I understand you work in the IE, OC, and LA county. I wonder how you deal with scheduling if you have an 8am in Riverside, and a 10am scheduled for Anaheim, and a 12pm for East Los? How do you factor in traffic into your scheduling? When someone makes an appointment, does your calendar app lock in the time or do you manually input the time blocked out?
    I'm being nitpicky, but I used to just set up clients via Instagram DMs, but I think automating it would be better. How do you deal with it? Thank you so much.

      So I use the “Appointments” app by Square. I’m able to accept or decline the appointment that a client schedules. Before I accept, I usually ask them where they are located. If I have somebody already booked and they are in a different area, I’ll either let them know that I’m going to be the opposite side of town so I’ll be able to get to them a little later than they wanted or I’ll reschedule them for another day. Clients are usually understanding.

      @@AestheticAutoDetailing Thank you for the reply! I didn't know one had to accept the appointment. That is so cool. Thank you for your time.

      @@luisserna6739 of course, anytime! You can also block out specific times and dates you’d like. You’ll just have to take the time to input the time frame your specific services will take.
