As usual without any research… Q1 once in every 27 rounds Q2 less then once in 8 rounds Q3 the par 3 is 95 yards the par 4 is 200 yards and the par 5 is 280 yards. Great questions again mr Jay!
1) 1 in 72. Have always wondered how this reflects improvers....
2) 1 in 3 rounds
3) Not entirely clear whether you mean 12 handicapper shooting NET par (ie 84 gross) or GROSS part (ie scratch, birding 12). But only the first makes sense for "real" golf. Or we are on a pitch & putt...
My first guess was Par 3 - 85 y. Par 4 220y Par 5 - 430y. Then I did some more research:
All par 3s = 35 yards
All par 4s = 216 yards
All par 5s = 380 yards
So it it is a pitch & putt....
Guessing based on what I see...
Q1) 1 in 72 rounds,
Q2) less than once in 15 rounds, (I'm guilty of that... that 3 hybrid barely sees the light of day).
Q3) par 3s: 50y, par 4s: 180y, par 5s: 280y for a 12 hcp to shoot an average gross par.
The last one is a weird question... by making one type of par shorter and the others longer you can still get the same result. It's just one combo that could work. You could imagine making the par 4 shorter and par 5 longer by obviously different amounts and still get over all of them a scoring average of par... Therefore there's an infinite set of good answers to this one. 🤔
