I think it's important to recognize that Sony eventually did the right thing and commend them for it, but at the same time, it is VITAL that WE THE CONSUMERS understand that WE HAVE THE POWER. The corporations are beholden to US, they need to EARN our business, and THE MOST POWERFUL TOOL WE HAVE IS OUR VOICE. This entire saga shows that together, WE are mighty.
More like Valve had the power, I doubt Sony would’ve gone through with it if not for the refunds and delistings.

Greg always over exaggerating things like how he thought Cyberpunk couldn’t recover, just for it to win a Game Award for recovering.
The trophy integration just doesn't make any sense to me on steam, same with Microsoft achievements on steam. I have steam achievements, why do I care about trophies and Xbox achievements??
For PC only gamers means nothing, but some play across PC and consoles.

There was a bunch of country with no access to PSN. It was way more of an hindrance for them.
Otherwise, yes, it was mostly annoying.
@@SimWOT That's fair. I have to imagine it was a failure to think that through rather than intentional malice (it wouldn't benefit Sony to cut off those revenue streams)

There was an upfront notice day 1, and Ghost will be sold in those countries all the same with its multiplayer tied to PSN. I think Sony legitimately thinks it’s fine for people to make fake accounts, I’ve been doing it since PS3 to get access to Japan/EU PS Stores.
