    Wow!....that is an impressive coastline, I had no idea how stunning it is, the waterfalls are a surprise ..beautiful, & the shearness of those cliffs are breath taking, ....'it's a must go'..have a look....great video. Thanks, amazing!..☺

      Thanks Ingrid - was a great little stretch of coast, and Spekes Mill was amazing. I saw a photo of the waterfal in a book this week, and it was only one stream too, so I think that having a lot of rain fall recently helped create the twin waterfall.

    Awesome video that mate, stunning views and points of interest, nice waterfalls too, 150 shipwrecks that's madness, great seeing the adder, always looked out for them but never seen one, editing is brilliant mate, like the music you use too. Cracking video, all the best 👍

    What an incredible stretch of Coastline Trev. I can see why that chap wrote 5 volumes of a poem. Good that bench pointing out the wreck. Just a glance one way and it all changes. That waterfall was a surprise - it would have sorted out your nuts. Well, there was loads in this one snakes and all. Good going. Mark

      Wye Explorer Yea... I never know quite what to expect with each walk but that was a beautiful stretch for sure. The waterfalls were much more impressive in real life too. Thanks for watching! Atb!

    The ocean was just there Trev any sweaty body parts could have been dipped for a cooling! The beautiful waterfall was another option. Love your coastal walks Trev, you always make them informative, and well done for catching a glimpse of the snake for us too. 👍👍Sue

      Thanks, Sue - and you know that sea did look good enough to dangle into, that would soon tuck 'em in out the way - lol. Thanks for watching, and the snake was a great bonus - the wildlife footage on these coast walks are stacking up now. All the best!

      Cheers Stu - glad you enjoyed it. Was an impressive bit of coast and the rock formations were incredible, and the amount of wildlife I am seeing has amazed me really, considering I've not even done a tenth of the Coast PAth yet. I am so excited to get more of this coast path done. Thanks for joining me!

    So great to relive this fantastic and wild, rugged scenery. I am happy that you walked on dry surface and had nice temperatures and sunshine :) So did we last year - but the other direction, from Hartland Quay to Morwenstow :) We didn't meet many people either. There are some really remote areas there. Important to bring enough food (snacks) and water. We had a little rest on the bench at 5:20 min :-) Thank you for sharing.

      Torunn Bjøreid Thanks Torunn. Was a lot better weather for walking and once again some absolutely stunning scenery. It would have been rude not to stop at that bench, even though it dis vloud over there and soon got cold, so I didnt stop for long. Thanks for watching. Atb Trev!

  • @AlanMETALMAN
    @AlanMETALMAN 6 лет назад

    Bloody hell, talking about rubbing it in - suns out, dry underfoot, prefect walking conditions......Nice place to stop for luck on that bench and a great waterfall. Has there been much erosion on the cliffs? On the North East Coast it is awful the amount that is being lost to the sea each year, not only the cliffs but houses that have, over the years, got closer and closer to the edge. The only trouble I had in the bollock department was when I used to run or bike, apart from that, mine are in perfect swinging order to be fair. We get a lot of adders on the moors in the summer, never seen one before and do not bloody well want too. Nice 11 mile hike out, cheers Alan

    • @SummitOrNothing
      @SummitOrNothing  6 лет назад

      Alan METALMAN - Hiking & Outdoors Sorry Alan. I knew youd have somthing to say about my sunny walk haha. There are patches of the coast eroding amd slopping away. I think a lot has to do with the ammount of rain fall we have these days too.... im sure I heard or saw that somewhere. Thonk my old boys hang too freely, Alan. Starting to chaff against my ankle you see hahaha. As for snakes, didnt half give me the creeps, but reassuring to see how quick it sped away from me. Obviously more scared of us than we are of it. Thanks for watching mate . Atb Trev!

    Just done the 12ml Westward Ho! to Clovelly section and could see Hartland lighthouse most of the way. I think the thick mud was probably putting people off as didn’t see a soul. Boxer shorts are good for up to 15ml 🙂
