Babies need the proper bonding nurturing care with the mother for their brain to develop properly. Not to do so can result in a child with mental health issues and development issues. They've done studies.

Too much to list, actually. She never grew up out of that childish phase where kids would lie to seem cool or liked by peers. She definitely lied about not being able to get pregnant. No one was trying to get her pregnant, even accidentally. She even said she hated kids many times. Unfortunately, it even looks like she has no bond with her daughter, who doesn't even seem in the least interested in her.
