Torremolinos is a very popular holiday resort on the Costa Del Sol featuring some fantastic beaches, seafront, hotels, restaurants and bars.
Torremolinos is situated just 7 minutes from Malaga Airport making it a very convenient and easy to reach resort here in Spain.
This 4K Spain Walk heads along Torremolinos Playa Beach past all the bars, shops and restaurants and chiringuitos to see what's open and how busy or quiet Torremolinos is right now.
I always enjoy coming here for a peaceful break, to lay on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. As you can see in this video it's a very peaceful place at the moment due to current events.
We begin our walk at Playa Del Bajondillo beach on Costa De La Carihuela looking out over the beach towards the sea.
As we set off we pass The Banana Bar (or Banana's Beach Club) and the other bars and restaurants here including the excellent 'El Gato' which I can highly recommend!
Walking along the beach we head along Paseo Maritimo past all the beachfront bars and restaurants and take a look at how quiet the beaches are at the moment.
We see the popular Melia Costa Del Sol hotel, The Hawai Playa, and Mujeres corriendo por la playa where we see Playa Bajondillo.

Loving these pop up captions. The train from Malaga is so simple and easy to use along the. Coast to Fuengirola.
I never used the train despite my apartment being right next door! I should really try that next time.
I had a car hire and drove everywhere (I love driving!)

The garden area of the El valera looks great when lit up at night especially the statues and figures, did see the peeing boy 😅? Very photogenic

I stayed in Torremelinos for 2 weeks in January 2001 for my friends 40th birthday in a time share apartment on the topfloor of a circular 20 storey building on the back edge of town (very seedy area), had a brilliant time but would never consider going back there, we spent most nights there in the same bar, ran by a german couple and their dog
