nice one, you have the full translated version 🙂 its awesome to play the way the game was originally intended! Such an epic story once you get all the way through 🙌i've only ever done 1 complete playthrough but played scenario 1 like a million times.

I wish you’d mix the magic up a little bit, it isn’t as if your party is struggling…
I mean spark, spark, spark, spark, spark, spark…..
This game and the Saturn have had a bit of a resurgence in popularity recently I’ve noticed, and it’d be good if you’d show off the variety of what the system can achieve with regards to the graphical effects!
I don’t mean to be a dick or anything! It’s great that an old, obscure game (that I LOVE by the way!) is still getting attention two and a half decades later! And frankly it’s nice to see someone enjoying this game, so all the best to you buddy 😊

I use so much Spark 4 because the mages I picked for the party are lightning specialists. They could use Blaze 4 too, but that spell is not as powerful as Spark 4. Summon Dragon spell is too expensive and doesn't do much more damage than Spark 4. So, it is a matter of effeciency, especially when you keep in mind that I can recover MP with Sleep Rod if I don't equip other weapons for summon spells. You can see that Hedva uses Zephyrus 2 because she is a wind specialist, and Noon uses Freeze 4 because he is an ice specialist.
And I disagree with you about my party not struggling. Zeon and Dark Sol are very hard to beat on highest difficulty setting.

@Reinc yeah I get your reasoning, and understand all the magic stuff, I remember the final 2 battles being incredibly tough! I was just pointing out it would have been nice to see you show a bit more variety in the earlier, easier battles (especially since your HP/MP are restored at the end of each battle anyway). I probably would have watched the full video then, but ended up getting a bit bored! No offence intended, just constructive criticism 🙂

@@TheWigglyLine I had already shown many different spells in scenarios 1,2,3. Showing all spells again would've made the video unnecessarily long. All four discs are basically one game, separated into four due to budget constraints. They run on the same engine and largely use the same graphics, and share save data. I think of Shining Force III Scenarios as Books in Shining Force CD, which just happened to be released separately. So, I overlooked demonstrating spells and attack animations because a lot of them were already shown in previous videos.

@@TheWigglyLine I actually thought he was being pretty good about showing off special attacks and summons whenever it was safe to do so in the earlier battles, lots of Thor, Thanatos, Wendigo, Zepherus, the ice-boobs lady and such. There are summons shown I've never even guessed were in the game, having only played and won Scenario 1 back in the day as it was the only one I knew existed at the time I bought it. 2 and 3 and premium weren't translated until well after I had packed my Saturn up.
