@@colekoger I used a glitch to turn into Fierce Deity Link in Great Bay to reach the heart piece there before getting the hookshot. You can use the glitch pretty much anywhere as long as it's outdoors.
What glitch? I only know of the glitch that you can perform to turn into Fierce Deity anywhere where you find a pool of water that goes up to Zora Link's chest, and dive down as human Link, put on the Zora mask as you start diving down, mash the B button, press A with good timing so the A button goes blank, start swimming and try to roll onto the ground, replace the Zora mask with the Fierce Deity's mask in the pause menu, and then use the C-button that you binded the mask to to get the Fierce Deity basically anywhere.
The whole repetition thing almost gave the whole adventure this dreamlike quality to it that both didn't feel real at all, but was also way too real at the same time
That's so weird, I had no idea Cremia could give you rupees. The few times I've done the quest twice she's always given the hug. Guess I just got lucky. :P
I’ll just keep adding this until hopefully you see it and put it in a future video: During the fight with Majora’s Mask, when you get to Majora’s Wrath, if you do enough damage for it to start attacking you with the lasso tentacles, change into Deku Link. Because Deku Link is small and light, when Majora’s Wrath throws you over its shoulder, you can actually fly across the entire arena. If aimed just right, you can get it to throw you into the alcove where Majora’s Mask is stuck to the wall at the very beginning of the fight. This makes it nearly impossible for Majora to hit you. This is only doable in the N64 version. On 3DS they patched it and there’s an invisible barrier over the alcove.
Here's a fun fact. Zora link can throw two or more sets of boomerangs at a time. All you have to do is throw the boomerangs, take off and put back on the Zora mask, and then throw them again. Afterwards, you can keep tossing them out whenever you catch them. I achieved a volley of three sets with some precise timing. Edit: I did this on the GameCube version of Zelda Collector's Edition but it should work on any version of the game.
Hell yeah, another Collector’s Disc owner. I don’t know anyone who has it or even knows what it is. Whenever I say “yeah I played Majora on GameCube” they look at me like I’m insane.

I remember I discovered the Swordman one by accident, as a kid~teen I would roleplay my own quest in my head in some playthroughs. TLDR it involved him and once I finish doing all my objectives I went to the school and my confusion and curiosity led me to that discovery haha.
Something I noticed awhile back which fails to get the air time it deserves: Regarding the swordsman foolishly taking refuge in his little secret room (not that attempting to take refuge anywhere in Termina isn't equally foolish), it should be mentioned that the room is full of pots for no stated reason. In fact, there is a reason, and it is the same reason he's uncharacteristically facing away from you when you discover him. His hair is dark brown, like the pots, and has a similar silhouette. His masterful last-ditch technique is to hide himself in cowardice, disguising himself (to a surprisingly great effect) as an ordinary pot. I discovered this when I initially didn't spot him back in the day and all of the sudden was surprised that one of the "pots" spoke. On a side note, for a brief chapter of my early childhood, train whistles in the dead of night terrified me, and I'd sometimes be scared they were somehow coming to get me (as if their exact routing wasn't literally set in stone that would allow for this). I think the swordsman here demonstrates a similar childish terror. As if that giant, titanic moon if going to come into his store through the front door, and either read the sign and leave or, if the moon does find him, his disguise will give him a better chance of surviving. Alternatively, as I've grown older, I find it less surprising each play through that the shirtless hippie who takes himself way too seriously is just praying inside you don't discover his backroom full of pot.
Damn even after 20 years of often replaying this game, it still holds a lot of little secrets to be discovered, like the swordman dude hiding behind the panel, never had a clue about it.
I remember the hugging part when we were trying out that crying mask and wasn't aware about the secret room at the sword training gym which we even had the strategy guide which never mentioned.
Gotta say though, I think while almost everyone knew about the swordsman, that's as real as it gets. That was the moment I realized the game was darker than normal.
I love your videos! Always learn something I didn’t know and immediately have to go back and try it! Favourite for this video is the ikana tower entrance skip 👌🏼 how did I never try this 😂
"Ara ara Link-kun, perhaps you're craving some of my... Chateau Romani?~" Seriously though, I ADORE this series so much. The OoT videos were wonderful, the Mario 64 one is super fun, but Majora's Mask is one of my favorite games of all time, so ANY time I get to learn/spend with the uber comfy yet sad game is very appreciated and nice.
Mate you're the guv! Just like Yangus said, without you I would never knew that there was a secret passage in the swordman training dojo and all those tricks.
I don't think I ever actually knew about the secret room with the sword smith. That's something awesome I'll have to check out with another play through sometime
Majora's Mask is one of my most favorite games of all time! I got it for Christmas in 2000 and have played it since. It's wild some of these I had no idea about. The elegy of emptiness to get into stone tower was brilliant.
Oh my, I've completed this game dozens of times and I thought I knew everything about my favourite game of all time, but the "standard" solutions for the Oceanside Spider House Skulltullas never appeared to me. I always used the tedious "alternative method #1". I also eventually started to use bombs to kill them all at once to save time and thought this was an ingenious way of doing it. 🤦♂ That Stone Tower entry method is also very clever.
I've always done standard method 2 because that was what the guidebook had told me to do, glad to know of the first method though, seems less tedious :P
I feel like I always used the Goron Ground Pound, but that may be because my dad owned prior to me playing an extremely well worn copy of the game guide

Tbf, Link didn't get much recognition in both his time in Hyrule in the events of OOT due to traveling back in time and reverting everything that happened in that game and in Majora's Mask, Link is just a random outsider who is there to help people out rather than anyone help or comfort him. So he must have felt very lonely during that time being. I can understand why he felt the way he did when he got that hug. In a way, his efforts got recognized and appreciated by someone which means a whole lot since in this game he is just 10 or 11 years old which most kids around his age crave.
You know due to him being just a child i wonder if he ever did cry on the journey even if not shown in game you’d think there would be a time where his loneliness and weight of his duty brought him down.
Love the videos MM is my favorite in the series. The fine details and hidden secrets are great, but the glitches are cool too glad you showed some of these off. The glitch that allows you to ride epona in any form is hilarious, hope you can showcase this in the next one haha
I honestly never knew about the skulltula behind the chandelier methods, I was confused on what to do there. I just killed them with the bow and arrows and turned into zora link and used the double cutters to collect the gold tokens with precision shots while on the ground
Deep pythons are like the coolest enemy in the wild in any Zelda game. I absolutely love your videos. Let me make sure I'm subscribed. #TeamMajorasMask
With the skultullas, the thing you taught me is that you can collect them from the chandelier by rolling into the table. I didn’t know there were alternatives to using the hookshot
I had no idea about the secret room in the back of the swordsman’s shop! It amazes me that this game is over 20 years old and I’m still learning stuff about it even after multiple play-throughs
Nothing will be funnier than people making deep analyses on Cremias hug to avoid the fact it's an intended raunchy moment put in by the developers as a joke
2:55 What the..? wow, how have I never thought of this before? Edit: bro in the spider house part of the beach, I caught it with the hook, when it was standing on the table, it didn't even occur to me that I could have used Goron's strength to make them fall with the tremor 😂

#1: Apparently Zora Link is part fly-fishing. #2: It's a simple feature, but one that I find amusing. However that does raise on question, "Why doesn't Deku Link fly farther?" #3: Kudos to anyone who managed to memorize the path to Pinnacle Rock. #4: I'm guessing the developers knew that players wouldn't done this so they added this specific dialog just in case. (The game probably would've locked up otherwise). #5: WOW! Whomever though of that exploit is a genius. I'll probably only use that trick if I'm running out of time. #6: Very clever, but I think you will still need to trade the deeds to get the one in Ikana Valley regardless. #7: Easter eggs like that are always fun #8: Okay not gonna lie the first Cremia hugged Link my heart melted, it was just that wholesome. I mainly re-did this quest simply for that reason. BTW there actually is a third possible prize. If you have an empty bottle Cremia will fill it with Chateau Romani. #9: I always appreciate tasks that have multiple solutions, it allows players to get creative. #10: I already knew about the Swordman cowering in the back room, it was both sad and pathetic. Although I'm pretty sure alot of us would probably be the same way. Some of us (myself included) would imagine that, if a conflict were to arise we'd probably step up and be the hero/heroine; but when conflict actually DOES arise, we'd either freeze up, cower in fear, or just try to ignore it. It's like they say "Easier said than done."
Cremia has that motherly ara ara energy! Also I love all the secret stuff and things in this game. There's so much to discover so you'll have to play the game over and over by traveling back in time to discover them all!
The Dragon Quest series had to beat around the bush with its "puff-puff" running gag. Meanwhile Majora's Mask is over here with a straight up full frontal motorboat.
Heroes are born from Tragedy, so its nice once in a while to be grateful to those that do so much for others with out asking anything in return. I'm guessing Cremia is the future mother of Link from Twilight Princess? Maybe?
If you speak to granny wearing Kafei’s mask, she will mistake you for Mayor Dutour, and say something like, “are the other children teasing you again? Well, you just come tell teacher!”
If the swordsman really doesn't want to die what is he doing hiding there instead of evacuating? Might as well take that vacation for real and get his ass out of town.
Ive said this before, but idk if its just so obvious or just so odd, no one has said it yet. In the swordsman's dojo, if you hit the gong at the O'clock possition or the (whatever time) 30 position, it gives a 5 rupee piece. Most places ive looked up bever mention it, but they say its every 30something-th hit or that it needs to be a certain amount of damage, or its random. But i never see it mentioned anywhere in vids like this with the right info.
I never knew the seahorse was needed to cross the water there. I always did it without the aid. Just by process of elimination. Eventually memorized it.

Man the last one always made me feel bad and for me it’s that specific line of dialogue that made that final day TRULY scary for me
The whole repetition thing almost gave the whole adventure this dreamlike quality to it that both didn't feel real at all, but was also way too real at the same time
It's nice to see Link get a hug for once.
That's so weird, I had no idea Cremia could give you rupees. The few times I've done the quest twice she's always given the hug. Guess I just got lucky. :P
I’ll just keep adding this until hopefully you see it and put it in a future video:
During the fight with Majora’s Mask, when you get to Majora’s Wrath, if you do enough damage for it to start attacking you with the lasso tentacles, change into Deku Link.
I've done that on N64.
Hell yeah, another Collector’s Disc owner. I don’t know anyone who has it or even knows what it is. Whenever I say “yeah I played Majora on GameCube” they look at me like I’m insane.
@@schawangus My friends thought me a liar for telling them about the CE, until they got to play it. My mother was a huge Zelda fan so she bought the black gamecube that came with a copy of the game, back when they had that promotional stuff in Walmart. I freaking loved the CE, I still have the copy even though my gamecube died.
@@dreadburnz3522 damn, that sucks. I’d look into taking it to a local repair place because it might not be a hard fix, and it’s definitely worth it. Or if you have the cables, check for a system only listing on eBay.
You know, that fact about Stone Tower Temple seems so obvious, I'm shocked that I've never heard it before. Very cool!
That Stone Tower shortcut was pure genius. I'm a little sad I never thought of that.
If you played botw first you would probably reason it that way
I remember the hugging part when we were trying out that crying mask and wasn't aware about the secret room at the sword training gym which we even had the strategy guide which never mentioned.
Thanks!
Thank you so much Jeremy! ❤️
Gotta say though, I think while almost everyone knew about the swordsman, that's as real as it gets. That was the moment I realized the game was darker than normal.
I'm not jealous because link get a "special hug"
I'm jealous because I've got nobody who love me in that way
I love your videos! Always learn something I didn’t know and immediately have to go back and try it!
Favourite for this video is the ikana tower entrance skip 👌🏼 how did I never try this 😂
Same, it's so less annoying now
Finding the once confident swordsman trembling with fear on the last day terrified me as a kid.
Cremia is my favorite for the plot.
The plot:
She has large plots of land, streaches for miles.... cause she's a farmer.
@@sup1602 not an exact Monty Python reference but ok.
(In Monty Python, it was “tracts of land”)
"Ara ara Link-kun, perhaps you're craving some of my... Chateau Romani?~"
Seriously though, I ADORE this series so much. The OoT videos were wonderful, the Mario 64 one is super fun, but Majora's Mask is one of my favorite games of all time, so ANY time I get to learn/spend with the uber comfy yet sad game is very appreciated and nice.
After all of those creepy things, Link really needed to have a bit of love from the people
nintendo really did hero of time like that, they literally killed him
These videos are comfy as hell, keep it up
Mate you're the guv! Just like Yangus said, without you I would never knew that there was a secret passage in the swordman training dojo and all those tricks.
I don't think I ever actually knew about the secret room with the sword smith. That's something awesome I'll have to check out with another play through sometime
I've got just one word for Cremia- motorboat.
Majora's Mask is one of my most favorite games of all time! I got it for Christmas in 2000 and have played it since. It's wild some of these I had no idea about. The elegy of emptiness to get into stone tower was brilliant.
First time I played MM I didn't even know about the seahorse, I just followed the signs until I made it.
Hey bro just found your vids, they are awesome, been a long time enjoyer of this game and there’s a good amount of stuff I’ve never even noticed or known with your vids, keep it up man 👍
The stone tower blew me away…i NEVER wouldve thought of thay
Cremia is just offering Link some more milk…
r/holup called. They want their material back
r/holup
Back when playing MM for the First Time
On the Wii VC on my wii U, i Never got rupees from Cremia. I did the quest twice and got, That Hug was something Else man. Cremia is a Woman of warmth
@@Binkus_. Only time I can think of is in the beginning of OOT in the intro cutscene where Link is asleep in his dark/small room.
Love the videos MM is my favorite in the series. The fine details and hidden secrets are great, but the glitches are cool too glad you showed some of these off.
The glitch that allows you to ride epona in any form is hilarious, hope you can showcase this in the next one haha
Number 5 makes sense. Never thought about it till now.
As much as I've enjoyed Tears of the Kingdom, I still desparately want swimming in Zelda to be fun again.
If you wear the Circus Leader's mask while helping Cremia, the Gorman brothers won't attack you.
Cremia living up to her name.
Oh I'm definitely gonna remember that easier way to get into the tower
I honestly never knew about the skulltula behind the chandelier methods, I was confused on what to do there. I just killed them with the bow and arrows and turned into zora link and used the double cutters to collect the gold tokens with precision shots while on the ground
Deep pythons are like the coolest enemy in the wild in any Zelda game. I absolutely love your videos. Let me make sure I'm subscribed. #TeamMajorasMask
Nice, list. The last one, though, I easily learned by being super-greedy -and the eighth one from being super-randy.-
I need a Cremia in my life
I think we can all definitely agree that we wish we could also feel warm, and fuzzy the same way Link did in this game! ;D
I mean... I guess you'd be right if gay men and straight girls weren't a thing... but they are... so...
that tip at the end about the swordsman was the biggest shocker to me. i gotta try that now!
With the skultullas, the thing you taught me is that you can collect them from the chandelier by rolling into the table. I didn’t know there were alternatives to using the hookshot
WTF after so many years and I never knew about that secret room in the dojo
I had no idea about the secret room in the back of the swordsman’s shop! It amazes me that this game is over 20 years old and I’m still learning stuff about it even after multiple play-throughs
funny thing about the swordsman's dialog...Link does cut the moon in half in Hyrule Warriors when using the Fierce Diety mask xD
*gasp* foreshadowing
Ok #5 was neat and im surprised i havent seen that trick performed more often.
Nothing will be funnier than people making deep analyses on Cremias hug to avoid the fact it's an intended raunchy moment put in by the developers as a joke
I had no idea there was a sea horse to guide you in the underwater sign maze!
2:55 What the..? wow, how have I never thought of this before?
Edit: bro in the spider house part of the beach, I caught it with the hook, when it was standing on the table, it didn't even occur to me that I could have used Goron's strength to make them fall with the tremor 😂
Abaut the non edit text: you are dump... like my
The cremia hug looked... i mean link could be a little bit taller.
please, more of these soon, it's my most favorite game in the franchise
3:00 this is literally a big brain move or thinking outside the box moment right here.
7:56 i always thought he was a pot because everything in the game was so blurry on our crt monitor, also the guard at the front of castle towns front gate, i thought he was a bombchu
Never knew about the secret room. Wow, I am still learning stuff about this game even till now.
Tatl be like:
"STOP PLAYING THE SONG OF TIME SO YOU CAN FEEL HER BAZONGAS."
I had a dream the old lady was chasing me around Termina in her war chariot.
Lucky guy 😏
5:48 **sighs** best moment ever in a Zelda game. I love it.
I'm happy that someone else remembers the chariot scene from Ben Hur and knows what Ben Hur is. We keep you alive to serve the ship. So row well and live.
#1: Apparently Zora Link is part fly-fishing.
#2: It's a simple feature, but one that I find amusing. However that does raise on question, "Why doesn't Deku Link fly farther?"
#3: Kudos to anyone who managed to memorize the path to Pinnacle Rock.
#7: Easter eggs like that are always fun
#8: Okay not gonna lie the first Cremia hugged Link my heart melted, it was just that wholesome.
I actually have the Ghost's path through Gerudo Desert in OoT roughly memorized.
Can you belive I was watching this guys videos then a new one uploaded? That’s cool lol
Top 10 cool things in Majoras Mask
Number one: the whole game
Did you know you can wear the circus leader’s mask for Cremia’s side quest and the brothers on horseback just won’t attack you?
@4:27: ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?! ARE…YOU…NOT…..ENTERTAINED?! IS THAT NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE?!
Cremia has that motherly ara ara energy! Also I love all the secret stuff and things in this game. There's so much to discover so you'll have to play the game over and over by traveling back in time to discover them all!
I recently learned a hilarious out of date term to describe the swordsman. In olden days they would say, "He has a paper nose."
I love these videos. Learning things i never knew
The Dragon Quest series had to beat around the bush with its "puff-puff" running gag. Meanwhile Majora's Mask is over here with a straight up full frontal motorboat.
I can't believe I never thought of number 5 in the first place! Ingenius!
#8 is my all time fav, I wasn't prepared for that when I decided to save them again.
If you kill the skulltulas in the chandelier, and don't pick up the tokens, do they still fall out if you roll against the table?
Heroes are born from Tragedy, so its nice once in a while to be grateful to those that do so much for others with out asking anything in return.
I'm guessing Cremia is the future mother of Link from Twilight Princess? Maybe?
I knew all this i played the sh1t out of OoT and MM as a Kid. I remember seeing the Tiger on Grannys Wheelchair and i was like WTFF???
The swordman talks about cutting the moon
What's Young Link's finishing move on Triforce Heroes?
If you speak to granny wearing Kafei’s mask, she will mistake you for Mayor Dutour, and say something like, “are the other children teasing you again? Well, you just come tell teacher!”
If the swordsman really doesn't want to die what is he doing hiding there instead of evacuating? Might as well take that vacation for real and get his ass out of town.
Nice touch with the Keaton Quiz music.
Didn't even know about the Seahorse as a kid. I did that Pinnacle Rock segment by trial and error.
5:34 NOOOOO IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME
Me looking up how to turn into link in majoras mask just for this side quest:
