Hey hey Elaina! Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing your feelings/thoughts with us. We all need a break sometimes and that's ok. When we get tired, burned out, sad due to grief, etc. the devil always tries to step in and steal our joy. I'm glad you were able to focus back on God and remember that in Him is where our joy comes from. So take all the time you need to refresh and then refocus on whatever God is telling you to (Him, family, business, RUclips or something else) because He will always lead us in the right direction. I'm glad to see you back and I will keep you lifted in prayer.🙏🏾🤗💕
I’m so happy you’re back. You are not alone. I’ve been there too. We all go through it at some point in life. Prayer definitely helps, a good support system, affirmations, and sometimes I just need to have a good cry to get it all out. Thank you for your transparency. You still have some pretty curls despite it swelling up! I think it’s cute 🥰. I should’ve been like you and maybe I wouldn’t be dealing with this heat damage now! I’m looking forward to your videos this year, but don’t feel bad if you need a break. We’ll be here when you return 😊. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you so much!🙏🏽 it's nice to hear that I'm not alone when it comes to this. 💖 Yes, I had to let my tribe know what was going on after all the plans I had and then didn't deliver. Thank you for understanding. 🙏🏽 Thank you, I liked the way it looked too, just wish it wasn't so darn frizzy! Lol Thank you for your kind words. 🙏🏽💖
Hey Elaina!! So glad to see you back. Definitely have been where you are, semi often as well. For me, I allow myself to feel the feelings but also to be as gentle and kind to myself, and sometimes that means putting down the camera. Sharing everything can be heavy. We are proud of you and will be watching whatever you post!!
Tamia! This comment has me in tears. Thank you for sharing how you cope with these feelings. Your kind words really touch my heart.❤️ Thank you sooo much for supporting me & understanding the gravity of this video. Much Love!💖
Also, you don't have to apologize for not doing an empties video. Give yourself some grace and allow yourself to feel what you feel. If you truly in your heart do not want to do hair videos anymore then you shouldn't do them. Girl you almost had a tear coming out of my eye!!! Because I could feel the pain and dread in your voice when you spoke about hair videos. I just want you to be your best and do what you want to do. I believe that maybe you just needed a break but either way you've got this!
Hey Sis, God has given you these gifts to use them! And that's exactly what you're doing. I congratulate you for stepping out on faith and putting your products out there for the world to see. A lot of people wouldn't even do that. So the fact that you have enough confidence in yourself to make the products and showcase them on your channel means you're winning!!! Even if you feel that you're not getting as many views, continue to be led by God and it will always work out. I admire you because you never quit! Just like with your soaps, you decided to do that and you went through with it and your crocheting, the same thing so I don't know if this will help but you're doing one heck of a job and just keep doing what you love to do. If you don't love it anymore then don't do it. There's nothing worse than standing in front of a camera and not liking what you're doing. And that could just be burnout or it could just be a season in your life right now. But I'm on your team always have been and I trusted you'll make the right decisions!!!!! Love ya
Thank you so much! You have no idea how much that means to me! 💖 It's always good to know you have people in your corner, and your words of encouragement is like honey to my soul. Thank you for caring. 🙏🏽💖
I think we all go through a moment such as this in our lives. As i have entered perimenopause i see this creeping in more but prayer is definitely the way to go. Affirmations do help but i find when u are in this position is a time of transition and regrowth. You seem to be on the right track so keep going. About straightening i don't straighten my hair unless i need to trim it mostly because when i do it gets wirey and stiff. I see the girlies on here use WOW which is humidity resistant spray. Apparently it keeps your hair from reverting due to the elements so you might want to try that for the next go around.
Yes, we all have our moments, I just wanted to be transparent with you all about why I've been m.i.a. I glad you all understand. 😊 💖 Ok, I'll have to look for this spray. Thanks for the tip. Idk how many more times I'm gonna straighten my hair though. That was a lot of work!😮💨
hi elaina 🤗 so glad to see you. this is a very important video - for you and for us. content creators (and life live-ers) need a break from time to time - that's normal - because who does a job/hobby/etc. 365 days a year with no breaks? ... (hint: noone does that). i have a similar video that ive recorded multiple times. it may never see the light of yt day, but just know - i hear you, sis. this flexirods hairstyle looks good. your curls missed you and wanted back in - asap. i plan to flat iron my hair this year, but i say that every year. my routine is never exactly the same, but i usually start with an aphogee protein treatment, and follow with a moisturizing deep conditioner (with silicones if available), very light leave in/moisturizer (silicone-based if i have it), maybe a heat protectant (i know, but i don't always use them), then section, loose twist/jumbo roller set and mostly air dry/hooded dryer before blow-drying and flat ironing. it takes longer, but the key for me is working in smaller sections - with a cool fan blowing, drinks and snacks and tv/radio entertainment (or a few long phone/video calls). all of this (2-day process) and i start missing my curls by the 3rd day - which is why i only flat iron my hair once every 1-2+ years 🤣😂 tfs
Yes, thank you for seeing the value in this video. It's always good to know that you're not the only one going through things, which is part of why I did the video. I hope it does help someone out there. Hopefully, one day, you will share yours. Although it still kinda looked alright It's definitely not how I anticipated it to turn out. Not sure when I will straighten my hair again, I will definitely record it when I do. I'm looking forward to your straight hair video, i always thought you have beautiful hair. 😊Thank you for always supporting me & my channel.🙏🏽💖
It is great seeing a new video from you and your gray hair looks beautiful 🤎 You got this girl!!!
Thank you!🙏🏽
