For obvious reasons, I love the idea of pet items and I will spend on my pet when I won't spend on myself. Around the holidays, my family is always looking for items that are $10 - $35 for co-workers, teachers, babysitters, and family that are universal likes: book covers, placemats, potholders, chair back covers, coffee cozies, small toys/stuffies, lanyards, key rings/chains, hand sanitizer holder key chains, coin purses, hats, gloves, scarves, jewelry pouches, assorted covers/pouches for tablets/kindles/phones/handheld game systems, fabric phone holders, and hair accessories like bows, headbands, and hair ties are great for sure. You could also do some smaller items in coordinating fabrics to encourage people to buy them as a set. I like feeling like I got lots of little unique things at a crafts fair that I can share with others. Best of luck with your next craft event!
Hi. I'm a patchy scrappy artist also. 30 years of markets and shows. The first thing I do when considering an event is researching the area...especially for median income Look into the host and the event if it is ongoing for reviews and such. U got this!!!
Yeah pet items. Pet sweatshirts, bandanas, costumes. Useful items like potholders… Fabric earrings, and yeah scrunchies. I never want to sell stuff at a booth, personally I hate it, and I’ve been talked into doing a few.
Always feel free to advertise yourself when you are going to an event... I'd show up lol
I do need to get better with advertising for myself, thank you!
