Some of my early favourite cards are crystalline crab, cactuar, Titan, chocobo and moogle. These cards are all great and basically carried me through to chapter 9.
It's ridiculously fun and dont feel bad. There are lots of people and reviewers I know who got the game early, skipped it because they dont like card games. They went back recently and are loving it so much going back through and finding all the quests relating to it etc and building decks. Enjoy dude
For some of the gold saucer challenge matches this is almost necessary, I couldn't beat some of them AT ALL until I just skipped first turn and mirrored the enemy
Great video as always man I can't wait to see you start pumping out build videos for hard mode I remember your guides helped me on my hard mode playthrough with remake it's crazy how much subscribers you've gained since then
You should make a video covering the final survival challenge of QB at gold saucer. I managed to beat it using the Tonberry strat with mindflayer deck but curious to see what you do and others.
Your contribution is much appreciated bro, with the streams and lets plays all getting copyrighted it's been tough and I cannot thank you enough. I most definitely will! Soon as we finish, I'm nearing the end
You didn’t mention the hollow red squares affect a tile but don’t play pawns, but the orange yellow filled squares affect the tile and add a pawn. For example Cactuar vs Crab. Maybe it is obvious, but it took me a few games to notice.
Normally I skip card games in any game I play, because I just hate card games in general. But Queen’s Blood is pretty fun, and it’s really not that complicated to master
I think it's because you can approach it from multiple angles and be successful. You can fight for board spots (generally the first person to claim a square is disadvantaged), you can destroy their shit. You can buff your shit. You can play cards that keep growing as you feed into them, etc. There's probably a "meta" but you can jimmy rig anything and make it worth.
Honestly, I think it works because it’s fun and approachable. I’ve been using one of the prebuilt decks and have had zero problems working my way through the ranks in the game. Square Enix really needs to spin it off into its own game and provide multiplayer for in then we can see what people can really do.
No lie, last night I lost the match to the bartender to even *START* the side quest. Thinking I oughta amass some cards from the civvies in Kalm to better my chances, I played and lost to fucking Ned-like three times! Watched your video just now, beat him first match. My wife’s not threatening to divorce me anymore! Thanks Blitz! 👍
Yes not enough opponents but for me too many trash cards.. i hope they expand based on the Golden Saucer game wherein they invert the board. Forces you to use different cards
🙏🏾 Thank you for taking the time to make this. I definitely look forward to your advance/endgame deck. I just need 6 more cards and I'll have them all 🥴🤌🏾🃏
Have you tried Boot Camp, sir? The reward is a Sephiroth Card. I literally stop playing the game because I'm so stressed about that one bland I have ocd xD I need to complete everything before continuing.
Yea for that one I just added more swap cards and you want to just basically skip first turn and use weak cards and basically lose or to use hardly any cards more than denying some spaces (the first match only) then counter hard in 2nd and third matches with all your strong cards and that’s what got my win to get the Sephiroth card. Gotta plan carefully not to use all your good cards first round. Looked up several strats and that worked for me.
There's a huge increase of difficulty when you get to a certain point in the game, like chapter 11~12. I got by with modified prebuilt decks for most of the game but endgame it gets difficult, atm I'm using 2x Archdragon, Flametrooper, Sandhog Pie, 2x Bloatfloat, Heatseeker, Vincent, Tonberry King, Joker, Midgardsormr, 2x Grandhorn, and 2x Griffon. Has gotten me by in the endgame. Couple of these cards are replaceable, only REALLY need one of either joker tonberry king or midgardsormr. It's just important to have cards that boost in strength when other cards are destroyed, replacement cards, and cards that destroy other cards. In the endgame you tend to end up using all 15 of your cards, so it's important to have cards like Vincent or Heatseeker that add a card to your deck when they are destroyed.
I already beat all QueensBlood questlines, I realized that replacement cards are spammy i rarely used them. I capture spots fast as i could. Opponent have too many buff out cards. I have to be lucky enough to win
I 86-0'd an opponent with this deck lol, a few other good cards for this strat- Midgarsormr (just a buff Tonberry King if you have the pawns to play it), Phoenix (+5 to 4 squares on destruction), and Greathorns for guaranteed Phoenix activation. If you play Mindflayer bottom left, it's surprisingly easy to set up a 3 pawn position for Phoenix smack dab in the middle of the board and get the full +20.
I like to style the opponent, too, but as soon as I'm winning, I wonder if it's good to end the game because of the replacement cards they can get later
Been thriving with Midgardsormr, Vincent and Yuffie. Populating most of the board. Get Yuffie out preferably in the middle of the board and wreck everything while bosting The Sormr, destroying Vincent. If they still have alot of cards left I'll play Galian Beast to clean up. I'll usually lose two rows but the one row with the Sormr will have a large enough total to beat em. Risk, reward deck. An online Queens blood mode wouldve been epic.
9:20 I like to use Shiva sometimes to maximize points whenever I don't have any cards that buff. It'll give a certain value to the spaces you have pawns.
i don't know how, but after reading and watching different videos i still cannot wrap my hand around the game basics. I'll maybe give it another go after i finish the MSQ. Just so confusing to understand.
If they made q.b its own game, like a mobile online gacha i would hella play and throw a stupid amount of money at it for booster packs.......Its coming i feel. Theyll make more money off it then tht mobile tie in they got now

I love your content, but in my opinion you should work on making them shorter. Maybe go straight to the points, try to be more objective. Wish you the best.
The common issue with making them shorter is making lots of jump cuts and zooms which make the videos harder to follow and viewers complain they have to constantly rewind to see what happened. I had this complaint many times with previous faster and shorter videos. So its a damned if you do damned if you don't situation I'm afraid. That's a game finisher. All of your spots with pawns that are unoccupied are replaced with diamond dust. You want 3 unoccupied spots to get the most out of it
@@EruNgataiHey thanks! I tried the card a few times and still didn't understand what it did. Your explanation really helps. Now that I understand how it works, I don't think I like this card very much 😂
I stole this comment from someone else but this deck easily allowed me to beat everything I tried including queens blood final boss. 2 x Mandragora (cost 1/power 1) (spawns minion) 2 x Heatseeker (cost 1/power 1) (spawns minion) 2 x Skeeskee (cost 1/power 1 and rising) (when allied card destroyed raise power by 1) 2 x Tonberry king (cost 2/power 1 and rising) (when allied cards are destroyed raise power by 2) 2 x Amalgam (cost 1/power 1) (when destroyed adds minion that lowers power on squares above and below by 2) 2 x Gigantoad (cost 0/power 3) (destroy and replace) 2 x Grandhorn (cost 0/power 3) (destroy and replace) 1 x Mindflayer (cost 2/power 1) (lower power of squares above and right *below and left by 1) This deck annihilates. I consistently win with a 50+ point lead. Many games it scores 80-100. Get the Tonberrys and Skeeskee's out as soon as possible, then use mindflayer to make burn squares, or play amalgam then destroy it with a grandhorn/gigantoad to get the Resurrected Amalgam in hand to again make a couple of burn squares. A 'burn square' is one where if you play a card on it, it immediately gets destroyed. This is the core of this deck. You throw down mandragora's and heatseekers in the burn squares. This increases the power of the skeeskee's by 1 and the tonberry's by 2 and spawns a minion in your hand to repeat the process. Once you are out of those, use a grandhorn/gigantoad to destroy the amalgam/mindlfayer. then use the last couple of gigantoads/grandhorns in the same spot boosting tonberry and skeekeee even further. By the end you may only have 4 cards on the battleground, the 2 tonberry's and the skeeskeees' but they will be worth 20-40 points.... EACH No card costs more than 2 to play so you can ALWAYS play and as long as you can get tonberry's and skeeskee's out early you will dominate.

2 x Heatseeker (cost 1/power 1) (spawns minion)
2 x Skeeskee (cost 1/power 1 and rising) (when allied card destroyed raise power by 1)
2 x Tonberry king (cost 2/power 1 and rising) (when allied cards are destroyed raise power by 2)
2 x Amalgam (cost 1/power 1) (when destroyed adds minion that lowers power on squares above and below by 2)
2 x Gigantoad (cost 0/power 3) (destroy and replace)
2 x Grandhorn (cost 0/power 3) (destroy and replace)
1 x Mindflayer (cost 2/power 1) (lower power of squares above and right *below and left by 1)
This deck annihilates.
EACH
No card costs more than 2 to play so you can ALWAYS play and as long as you can get tonberry's and skeeskee's out early you will dominate.
Would be fun if Square Enix made this a trading card game with decks and boards available on their shop
Or even as an online mobile game where you could play other players
Thank you so much for making this video. I've never been a fan of card games in or outside of video games in this video took something that I was dreading to something that's actually fun and I look forward to playing more opponents now. You earned a Like and Subscribe from me. Great content
Ayyyyy My Guy! Been loving QB! But the are so many extra frustrating matches! Just finished all the crows nest challenges, but DAMM it took SEVERAL retries with each match
This is a bad deck, either run full buff or full ensemble. Lol
my card set is very simple, and I win and dominate most of the opponent very easily. it doesn't matter what deck they have lol
