I am so glad I found the Lovecrafts website for yarn and other crochet and knitting products. They always have a sale on some yarn up to 75% off. The Red Heart soft baby steps yarn on this video is only £1.99 per 100g ball. Just amazing as this is super soft baby yarn. They have many other brands too. Cheaper than I have seen them elsewhere.

Adorable 🥰 Thank you ! Going to make this.
Am doi it its easy and pretty
A magic circle is just a very loose slip knot. Was easy when I realized that.
I never realised that.. see I learn something every day.
Yes ,I've just kind of realised that today lol and I've been crocheting since I was 11 , on and off .
When I first started to crochet many years ago the first hook I bought and still have was a 4.5. Since then it’s remained my favourite size
Thank you for assistance 😊
You're welcome 😊
All I've ever crocheted is single stitch blankets, but I've been inspired recently to try more complicated things. Your video made this look so easy and doable!! I'm going to try it!!
You can do it!

Good morning Allison I’m in the U.S. and love your work. This pattern is one of the prettiest motifs I’ve seen in a while. I can see myself making lots of blankets using it. Thank you so much for bringing it to us. One more thing, people seem to forget that we are all individuals and do things differently. That difference does not mean that we are wrong. I have arthritis in my hands too and understand that you have to find a way to hold your yarn and crochet hook or knitting needles that’s less painful and allows you to do something you enjoy doing. Happy crocheting 🤗
Hi, HoniBear, I always found it hard to hold the hook and yarn high with my fingers like other videos, My mother held her hook like I do she said no need to strain yourself to make something nice. Like Tea biscuits were not all the same. So I would advise everyone ALWAYS hold it the way it's comfortable no matter how silly it looks if it works for you then do it. No one sees how you hold your hook and yarn when your at home so it makes no diffrence. It can put a lot of people off holding it the way others do in a tutorial. They think if they can't hold it that way they must be doing it wrong which nitself is wrong. Always hold it the way you want its you that is doing it so you might as well be comfortable. thank you for your lovely comment.
🥰🥰

Hello Thank you for your tutorial.
Thank you for watching.
I love how you crochet and explain so easy plus the way you hold your fingers. I do the same way, it hurts me to hold my pointer up like others do. I taught my granddaughter the same way and the teacher she went to told her she was holding your hands wrong. that upset me, I believe you do what is comfortable. love your videos.
Me too I'm from a big family lots of sisters and my mother always told us hold the hook or knitting needles the way its comfortable, as some are left handed some right and 2 of us can do both.
New to crocheting and love your videos....
Awesome! Thank you!
I hold my yarn the way you do. I learn6that way, 50 years ago. Dont think I can change now
Thank you so much.. Appreciated and God bless 🙏
You are so welcome
Loved this blanket so much I have made it for my daughter's colleague. I also loved the way you joined it together to get that lovely seaming on the front. I joined it using a crocheted slip stitch on the wrong side.
I love these squares, I think I will be able to make these, but would like to make it into a waist coat, so will have to see how to join them together.
I love this pattern, my daughter is pregnant and I’m going to make the baby this blanket. Thank You 😊
I am so glad i found your videos. I have only recently started to crochet but ive only been comfortable in holding my work like you do, thank you for showing me that its ok to be different 😃 ive attempted and succeeded at making this square 👍
You are so welcome! always hold it so you are comfortable, I hurt my hands if I try to copy someone else so now I don't bother. it makes no difference how you hold the yarn or hook you will find your own way and you will see if your work is too slack to go down a size hook or go up if its too tight. What works for one person doesn't always work for another.
