It's great how he's willing to share his knowledge of self defense through the internet even though he gets no profit. Everything he demonstrates is in the interest of protecting one's self and possibly family and can be used in real life situations. I'd love to shake this guy's hand and thank him.
We are practicing the concepts of Sayu Kumogakure Gata this month and I have found your series of videos on this multiple attacker problem to be one of the best and most practical perspectives presented. Thank you for making this available.
The name of my instructor is Yossi Sheriff. He told us once, the only place he gets respect for his name and not jail is Egypt. Respect is mutual, train safely and keep training, friend in martial arts
Love this video; Sensei is very realistic concerning the danger of these attacks, but gives some good alternatives. The idea of attacking first when we have multiple attackers is very practical. Thank you!
AKBAN I wactched the video. It's better not to mistake anything in that video for sound advice. It's just choreography with a narration that's done in a Modern Hebrew accent. There are as many ways to deal with multiple attackers as there are potential gaggles of attackers but this video demonstrates something that will only ever work on people who aren't actually serious about hitting you. Fix your footwork. Move from position of balance to position of balance and for the love of god don't compromise your own balance just to take someone else's. If you cross yourself up and overextend like that "grandmaster" then someone's going to throw the ground at your face while breaking a few things on the way down. The primary tenet of ninjutsu is don't get hit and the third law of motion is that the ground hits you as hard as you hit it. Apropos that you should probably get out of the habit of hitting the ground with your talus when you roll...
AKBAN I know you disagree. That was sort of a given, in light of the fact that I was criticizing the things that your alleged grandmaster is doing. That being said, the primary tenet of ninjutsu being evasion shouldn't be up for debate if you're training under someone who brags about how close his own training was to Hatsumi. Nor should not compromising your own balance, moving from a position of balance to a position of balance or being in the no-mind state when the real world gets real (which will goddamed well happen faster than you can think). Newton's third law of motion is definitely not up for debate unless, maybe, you're working on some weird problem in quantum mechanics. You're a little too large and jiggly to cheat on the conservation of energy though.
Very informative video, would like to add, that every group has a leader, and usually a head case, who follows the leader, and others who will only attack if they think they can win. If you can identify the leader take him out first and make it messy if you can, the head case will likely protect the leader, expect the follow up attack and deal with it. The key with groups is to really hurt one of them, this causes an adrenalin dump with the rest as they realise they might get badly hurt.
This is the third vid I AM seeing from akban and I say that I am really liking It. Those are pretty instructions and this channel have a good instructor. Thanks by the tips XD
I was myself surrounded like this when I was maybe 18 (I'm 30 now) and completely froze up and looked at my shoes. Thankfully Simone came a scared them off. People who attack on mass it feels are farely cowardly so they are easily frightened. It makes a lot of sense to attack the one in front. As they are the ones doing the talking so attacking the one to the side first surprises them making the attack on the easier. Thank you for this and the idea of training with chairs if your on your own
As someone who has had considerable exposure to both arts I would definitely recommend Krav Maga. To my understanding it is purely a combat/self-defense art absent of any sport/competitive aspects and is designed specifically to deal with real life 21st century scenarios. The vast majority of TaeKwonDo dojangs around the world focus on the Olympic sport variant of the art that has very limited practicality in street situations.
Good vid. A great antigrab drill is to imagine the attacker[s] who just tries to touch you has a horrible poison on their hands. This will really help you instinctively recoil from them.
To all the nay sayers. You really can't watch MMA and apply those concepts to street situations. Ie pull guard with four attackers and see where that gets you. Take shidoshis punches and apply them to the throat or the collar bone. Don't train like that but just imagine. This guy knows ninjitsu. Stop saying this will never work. A ninja thrives off of the element of surprise. Four guys are not gonna expect you attack. If you crush one of the attackers larynx and then take out another attackers eyes. Now there are two because you've annitiated your exit. Ninjitsu isn't aikido. The principles are completely different. Ninjitsu is however a viable approach to street defense because of its battle tested approach to dealing with threats. I've been attacked by multiple attackers on multiple occasions. Ninjitsu principles are what's kept me alive. Sure those situations could have gone anyway... But I'm still here. To all the disrespectful key commandos; shut your fucking mouths if you haven't been in at least one hundred fights. YOU ARE NOT EXPERTS BECAUSE YOU SIT ON YOUR COUCH AND WATCH MMA. IF YOU WERE TO FACE ONE PERSON YOU LIKELY GET YOUR ASS HANDED TO YOU. YOU CANT FIGHT.
I noticed when you used the "pillar destroyer" on your first attack, you did not connect to the opponent with your eyes. How did you manage to support your body in a structural way without connecting your eyes with your target? I hope you view my question as worth answering!
I'm curious as to how you developed the defensive posture with your hands upon your head after the first two strikes. Seems very familiar, but unlike anything I've seen in the Bujinkan.
Does Yossi ever teach outside Israel? Specifically in the US? I have trained with Moti Nativ ( who is also Israeli)several times stateside, but would love a chance to train with Yossi.
well, I have a question(sorry if my english is a little bad), I want to practice martial arts, but, I don't know what kind of training I must follow to begin
And what do you think about just striking one opponent and getting behind him quickly. Sure it is worse because you still have 3 opponents, but it seems like a safer way to get out of circle and you still have his body as a "shield" ?
When the shit hits the fan and you're lucky enough to get Someone on the floor you kick the fucking shit out of them so you have the advantage to prevent them from getting up again and having another go ! No second chances and then you run like fuck!! More than one aggressor ? Then that's martial arts.
In other words who cares about rules? Bite kick fucking gouge their eyes out. Who cares about nuances? This hold or that hold. Who gives a shit when it's life or death? Do what ever you can to get out of there? All to academic for me. All too purist . You're missing the point by straining at nats and swallowing camels ! What way do you want to die? In a real fight people survive the best way they can. After it's over and you're still standing who cares how you survived? You did that's all that matters surely?
Dear Sir, I really like your videos and tutorials. I have something similar in my channel which I uploaded couple of years ago. In my boxing training we train 2 Vs 1. I utilise my Boxing skills in to practical situations. But your instructions are very clear and concise. I like your Art , Science of Martial Arts and the philosophy of AKBAN. Regards, Ashraf - Head Coach @ Boxers Fitness Academy.
I mean the one directly in front is the one doing the alkong most likely. Attacking them first would not really work as they are looking right at you and are prepared. Whereas ones to the side think thy have you and using a yoko aruki will surprise them as you hit them without directly facing them. This will act like a tempo break as everyone will be surprised by it. They were the ones who had control. Then as you say the second pillar must be the person in front as that's the best way out
Not to say that this stuff isnt necessary to address and discuss because it is and thank you. It is however misleading to most ppl. Ie. When you've trained your whole life and you come upon a multiple attacker situation, you are very lucky to come out of that situation unscathed. These situations are too unpredictable to assess and manage at the best of times. Eyes throat groin knee caps inside arch of the foot. If you can't see, breathe or stand, you can't hurt me. Hit these areas with the intention of destruction. The street is unforgiving so don't be nice but it is always best to run. Thank you for the post shidoshi.
How viable is this on the street? is there a video on a thing like that, less controlled environment with defense against street fights that have more unpredictable movement?
Carry an assisted opening folding knife whenever you are out. If a scenario like this happens you stand a much better chance than being unarmed. Try to diffuse or run first, but if you have no choice you can stab and slash your way out.
One attacker = a fight, Two attackers = dangerous situation, Three attackers = an execution. That is why you should be aware of your surroundings... and have an equalizer.
AKBAN Aikido practitioners use throws very efectively with multiple opponents. Of course, they dont use certain throws and they are able to keep moving. What is your opinion on that?
To akban Surely Aikido works only if you have time enough to completely disable the person immediately after you have thrown them to the floor. To prevent them from having a second go. Although I appreciate that's not always possible. This also applies to all other martial arts. This is about the real world and in my experience of fights they are usually over very quickly where the aggressor or the defendant are completely finished!
At 5:10 there is no reason to touch-hit the attackers; in order for those hits to have the needed power to create some damage, so fractions of a second must be added at the point of contact. Otherwise it's a waste of time. The opening is too big and my purpose is to run away, not hit. Only if I feel that as I go though the opening someone has managed to get a little closer, do I hit him.
I have been in this situation before against 3 guys, i attacked first guy who looks nervous, and i start to kick the other guys making safe distance between me and them , ive hit with some kicks too but i managed to protect my face , the fight stop after many people came trying to stop the fight, ps: i practice karate and im a black belt 2end degree.
God bless you guys for staying true to the art of Ninjutsu and teaching it in a way that is practical to the real world. I am proud to take it and you and Master Yossi and all the students should be proud for preserving it so well. God Bless.
Very interesting, but i hope i will never have to use this technique... I want to take self defense classe... wich one is better: Kravmaga or TaeKwonDo.. I only have those 2 possibilities because i'm in centralamerica :/
Not disagreeing with these methods at all, I think your training and teachings are great! But this is the very reason I carry a firearm and train for multiple threats with that firearm!!
What happens if you punch the 2nd guy infront of you and it doesn't hardly do anything now you ve got to deal with him and the other guy you just nicked and two attackers behind you.
depends on what you mean by reality? the reality of a young American in the 21st century or the reality of a young Samurai of Japan in the 16th century I think you will find there is a big difference if you are talking about real fighting then yes it is real fighting training.
Hello , I like your videos , and a questio arouse in me, I don´t want to fight, however there are people who are trying to get me into a fight with them using insults and such words like , coward, bitch , and others, the thing is I am obviously getting tired and angry because of that, almost to the point of getting into what they want, wat do you think I should do in this case, should I comply to the fight, or should I keep ignoring them as I 've been doing Thank you Sensei.
AKBAN thank you so much for posting this video sensei. Your videos and your other posted knowledge Online has helped me greatly. I am a blind ninjutsu student however, and it would really help if you gave some text descriptions along with the videos so that I know what I’m observing. Thank you so much again, and I will continue to read and observe. You do a great job and a great service. It’s much appreciated.
I got attacked once on the street destroyed 9 guys myself, nobody believed me, I was one month after kickboxing competition I was in super shape I destroyed the I saw fear in there eye The fear was a reward I never seen people with fear in there eyes before.
I do love your work and honestly think this is wayyyyy undervaluated amongst people training in martial arts. May it be about the country of your Dojo or the f*ked up racist people, your way of working and building practical knowledge is amazing. One question, though : i'm a little more than 100kg and "officially" Nidan in Bujinkan, with added experience through martial arts passion and varied security jobs that sometimes went through danger, and i wonder why there is no consideration of the kaiten to break a circle. Of course, i imagine that you consider the place to be in not best visibility ( dark room, etc.. ) or with obstacles ( tables, chairs, cars, broken glass on the ground, etc.. ) . Just wondering. I might have been protected by the conceptor of the universe, but it helped me quickly surprise the opponents while breaking through both distance and trap attempt. And their consideration of my possible mental insanity did actually play on my advantage, at least as much as the surprise. Also gave me some seconds to grab my weapon in situations and this immediately froze the situation. Wish you all the best, from personal happiness to projects successes 🍻
Ah, I was surprised, in a good way, from your comment. Very nice to read deep analysis instead of something childish. Thank you for that. About rolling in actual combat, you may be right, but my perspective is tainted by the fact that I got kicked in the face after rolling in combat by a very professional opponent. Maybe because of that, I tend to teach ukemi as a reaction to a throw or lock and not as means of locomotion. I know, I may be wrong.
@@AkbanOrg Thank you for your answer, i wasn't expecting it (so many youtubers never read their comments section). I feel that nothing is wrong if it comes from experience; i'm pretty sure that if you have to roll again on another situation ( pushed, etc.. ) , your arms will stay close to your head both in the inite of the move than at the end of the roll. I met some teachers that were teaching "flowing" techniques ( kind of doing a flow from the end of a technique to another one, more or less as if constantly applying junctions from one to the next one emerging from the new position and place we arrive to at the end of the first technique.. way less complicated in practical than in my explanation [sorry ;-) ]) . But i do really agree with you that it is by no way an automatism to get, as sometimes the ground can be tricky (nails, broken glass, and anything with legs too much happy to stick on our back after been stepped on by it) (tetsubishi principle). As far as my concern and of some friends in the way of the Ninpo, we see Ninjutsu as a masterpiece of intelligence, this involving testing new things with the principles we learn from the 9 ryuha. When i was in my army duty, i trained combat/defense techniques with my rifle considering it as "a straight and partly solid weapon" for the day it would have mecanical problems or no more ammo at the right moment of facing an ennemy in close combat distance. I hope we will meet one day. I'm pretty sure we'll both enjoy it, but as for now my situation does not really allow it. Even though, i'll try to plan it for not so far future. Since then, i wish you the best health and happiness in your life .
I wish people now and days could defend them selves without weapon if there 3 people and their robbing you they definitely have a gun or a nive but hey id love to learn this shit
Yeah... you're the best ninjutsu master/teacher I ever seen on RUclips... You got all my respect. You deserve to have a peaceful and nice life!
your ninjutsu lessons are the most practical ones i have seen , keep up the good work
+mahadi karim thank you Sir.
Practice safely, and keep on training.
The other lessons youve seen must be absolute shit then.
It's great how he's willing to share his knowledge of self defense through the internet even though he gets no profit. Everything he demonstrates is in the interest of protecting one's self and possibly family and can be used in real life situations. I'd love to shake this guy's hand and thank him.

Jesus has given this guy the gift of teaching
Well... that's all instructors/teachers
A absolute national treasure...
👍🏻
Love this video; Sensei is very realistic concerning the danger of these attacks, but gives some good alternatives. The idea of attacking first when we have multiple attackers is very practical. Thank you!
This is an excellent video. Thank you teacher.
Thanks TheSilence1 !
Nobody is advocating a punch to the chest. It is just a way to train for force while exiting the circle.
Of course, the punch should be to the chin.
knupder better listen to what is being said in the video

I really am practicing this technique, thank you for your tutelage. Also I watch your Akban Wiki
Thank you, my friend in martial arts.
I feel this is an important technique at the second half of the clip
Sensei(If I may call you) god bless you.

thank you, for the very simulating vid.
Nindan here, fine work.
thank you for your advise.i feel you are very honest and see the wisdom in it.
Stay safe, and keep on training. Thanks!
I ll feel safer if I ll have to face this kind of situation in the future. Thank you very much. Excellent.
Always welcome
Good vid.
A great antigrab drill is to imagine the attacker[s] who just tries to touch you has a horrible poison on their hands. This will really help you instinctively recoil from them.
Yea, and um...how do you do rasengan?
Amazing video.Very strategic.Connects to the mind!
Thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you. Spread the word
To all the nay sayers. You really can't watch MMA and apply those concepts to street situations. Ie pull guard with four attackers and see where that gets you. Hei Cat Mandu, we’re just taking it easy on opinions that we don’t agree with.
It’s just, like the Dude said, just their opinions...
channel moderator here, I'll pass this on to my instructor.
Thanks!
Great video Master, greetings from Italy
The sabaki is a bit tricky, but can be practiced like this easily
I noticed when you used the "pillar destroyer" on your first attack, you did not connect to the opponent with your eyes. How did you manage to support your body in a structural way without connecting your eyes with your target? I hope you view my question as worth answering!
Perepherial vision
Exactly
hello, i recent discover you channel. think are very good! great techniques of self defense.regards from México.
Very informative and well explained.
Thank you
Thanks. Stay safe.
Very wise tips. Thank you.
Thanks Sheriff Sensi!
Sorry, could not understand. Care to elaborate?
Thanks
well, I have a question(sorry if my english is a little bad), I want to practice martial arts, but, I don't know what kind of training I must follow to begin
pupils don't pay monthly fee for this, is that true?
And what do you think about just striking one opponent and getting behind him quickly. Sure it is worse because you still have 3 opponents, but it seems like a safer way to get out of circle and you still have his body as a "shield" ?

Dear Sir, I really like your videos and tutorials. I have something similar in my channel which I uploaded couple of years ago. In my boxing training we train 2 Vs 1. I utilise my Boxing skills in to practical situations. But your instructions are very clear and concise. I like your Art , Science of Martial Arts and the philosophy of AKBAN. Regards, Ashraf - Head Coach @ Boxers Fitness Academy.
With respect Ashraf, thank you 🙏🏻
Try the army method of "milling". It's tough going one on one. Then try it again with 3 or 4 men attacking one man.
Then as you say the second pillar must be the person in front as that's the best way out
pshh ive played assassins creed, i can take on at least 20 people
The altimate martial art
Maybe if they where cripples with a bone disease.
Otherwise, no.
Pshhhh I've watched a million jake chan movies I can take out a whole town
HAHAHAAHAHA Justin I’m dead 😂
what i got taught with my kickboxing is see them as mountains and you as a stream find the easy way out and keep moving
Nice metaphor.
Not to say that this stuff isnt necessary to address and discuss because it is and thank you. It is however misleading to most ppl. Ie. When you've trained your whole life and you come upon a multiple attacker situation, you are very lucky to come out of that situation unscathed. Hit these areas with the intention of destruction. The street is unforgiving so don't be nice but it is always best to run. Thank you for the post shidoshi.
We uploaded more than 1300 videos. Some are basic, others more advanced
How viable is this on the street? is there a video on a thing like that, less controlled environment with defense against street fights that have more unpredictable movement?
Does MFC qualify as a streaming account?
Correct, my friend in martial arts
Thank you Master!!!
Thanks, stay safe :)
we hope so :)
Carry an assisted opening folding knife whenever you are out. If a scenario like this happens you stand a much better chance than being unarmed. Try to diffuse or run first, but if you have no choice you can stab and slash your way out.
Hmmm... might be problematic
One attacker = a fight, Two attackers = dangerous situation, Three attackers = an execution. That is why you should be aware of your surroundings... and have an equalizer.
are all ninjutsu schools reality based? or is this a separate style?
Great video
wouldn't it be safer and simpler if i just use a roll to get out of the circle?
Can you use throws in a multiple opponent situation?
Absolutely not recommended to use throws against multiple opponents. You want to keep moving
AKBAN Aikido practitioners use throws very efectively with multiple opponents. Of course, they dont use certain throws and they are able to keep moving. What is your opinion on that?
Lusitanus The Aikido scenario works only if the attacks are of a certain kind.
To akban
Surely Aikido works only if you have time enough to completely disable the person immediately after you have thrown them to the floor. To prevent them from having a second go. Although I appreciate that's not always possible. This also applies to all other martial arts. This is about the real world and in my experience of fights they are usually over very quickly where the aggressor or the defendant are completely finished!
Absolutely if the opening is there. Toss one into the others.

You did good
נהדר!
Did I spell that right ?
You are using 3 -4 attackers. What do you do with 5.6.7.8 attackers ? Do you know ? I know how to. Check it out.
God bless you guys for staying true to the art of Ninjutsu and teaching it in a way that is practical to the real world.
I am proud to take it and you and Master Yossi and all the students should be proud for preserving it so well.
God Bless.
However, you are a great "capo" (chief) of the martial arts, Akban, all my respectfuly for your martial ninjutsu.....
Very interesting, but i hope i will never have to use this technique... I want to take self defense classe... wich one is better: Kravmaga or TaeKwonDo.. I only have those 2 possibilities because i'm in centralamerica :/
There is no need to look at the target.
Very Interesting :-) ...
good and fun idea about video
Not disagreeing with these methods at all, I think your training and teachings are great! But this is the very reason I carry a firearm and train for multiple threats with that firearm!!
Agree, carrying is the best way to utilize a high level of violence
True and accurate
I M FROM ECUADOR DO YOU HAVE ANY SUCURSAL HERE
Thanks:)
Respectfully so :)
What happens if you punch the 2nd guy infront of you and it doesn't hardly do anything now you ve got to deal with him and the other guy you just nicked and two attackers behind you.
The side punch is temporary. One must use the opening to go out of the circle
Nice!
That is a great instructive video..
My last street fight....I won it by 50metres.....!!
depends on what you mean by reality? the reality of a young American in the 21st century or the reality of a young Samurai of Japan in the 16th century I think you will find there is a big difference if you are talking about real fighting then yes it is real fighting training.
We are proud to based in Bujinkan Ninjutsu, but I guess every instructor has his own perspective.
Good defensive technique against multiple attacker's especially if your working in Corrections.
Exactly. Stay safe
Or, aim for the biggest/best looking fighter. If he goes down, the others wont see themselves winning.
Here's to hoping to never have to use this though. Awareness is key
Great.
This is from my personal experience as the guy directly in front of me was the only one talking. He wanted my phone
Good Video
i have always thought of using a headbutt to ko an opponent as easy and surprising
We think Wing Chun is an excellent martial art. If there is an attacker with a knife the rates of survival of the defender diminish.
speed aggression and surprise !!! attack, attack, attack that's the key.
Exactly
I thought we made it clear in the video, do a Lava release Armour first
AKBAN thank you so much for posting this video sensei. Your videos and your other posted knowledge Online has helped me greatly. I am a blind ninjutsu student however, and it would really help if you gave some text descriptions along with the videos so that I know what I’m observing. Thank you so much again, and I will continue to read and observe. You do a great job and a great service. It’s much appreciated.
the fact that i still cant afford to learn this frustrates me
The videos are a free reference point
I WANT TO LEAR NINJUTSU ARE YOU SELLING DVD´S?
but how come is he of egyptian origin or something
I know he once did
So the idea in such a situation is to have iron will , cold blood and open mind + of course some training and fast legs and hands ...
I got attacked once on the street destroyed 9 guys myself, nobody believed me, I was one month after kickboxing competition I was in super shape I destroyed the I saw fear in there eye The fear was a reward I never seen people with fear in there eyes before.
If the movement is not correct, then aggression will not help
Thanks ninjala
🤝
I wish people now and days could defend them selves without weapon if there 3 people and their robbing you they definitely have a gun or a nive but hey id love to learn this shit
