    Very helpful information regardless of the brand of jammer someone decides to use.

    Hiya nice video. I like the 8 head option particularly for suvs and trucks with off road lighting as that will be a second engagement point on the roof line besides the front and back. Also for large profile vehicles like Semi and utility vehicles. Now if they can defeat the dragon eye that will be a great competitive unit to ALP. :)

    So I had an idea for alignment of the heads. Does any company offer a mode where the each head can individually broadcast a test beam (constant) such that a person could have a "strength meter" and be at various distances in front and read the beam strength as a function of vertical location and horizontal location. For example on an empty large parking lot, walk out 500 feet away and see what each head is broadcasting and make fine adjustments from there.

    I have c4 corvette. Where do u recommend I put the heads, and how many?

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  4 года назад

      On a C4, are you physically able to put two heads on either side of the front plate or a third head in the center? The C4 looks tricky... If you post photos up of your car here, people can give you recommendations: www.rdforum.org/forums/57/

    ANY UPDATES ON THE TMG COMPANY YET?

      There's a bunch of testing you can check out on the forums. I'd like to do some testing in the coming weeks as well. The latest update though is that they're raising their pricing now.

    Hello, vortex. Love your channel and work. I have a Honda CR-Z and I wanted to install the tmg system front and back. How many heads do you recommend. I got the license plate mounted on the driver side right underneath front headlights

    Rock out with your bubbles out! Unfortunately, illegal in CO. :(

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  5 лет назад +3

      Rumor has it speeding is illegal in CO too... and the penalty for speeding is way worse than the penalty for having jammers, plus if you use your jammers properly (slow down and disarm quickly when shot), you'll be just fine. but you're right.

    • @RustyZipper
      @RustyZipper 5 лет назад +1

      Or the obvious: Smoke weed and don’t speed ! 🤣

    • @oneslackr
      @oneslackr 5 лет назад +1

      Laser jammers are also illegal here in TX but that's not going to prevent me from installing a system on my car. As Vortex said above the speeding tickets are worse than getting busted with a jammer.

    • @RustyZipper
      @RustyZipper 5 лет назад +1

      Oneslackr - just set the jammer to like 4 seconds and the cop will most likely never know

  • @Jono2113

    So, if you're doing the three head system on a BMW, would you run the splitter to the two vertical heads and a single cable to the horizontal third head, or would it be better to split one vertical with the horizontal and the other horizontal to a single cable. OR you could do three single cables with no splitters, and one dip switch to the front, and then run a splitter on the dual heads in the rear with that dip switch to the rear. Too many permutations!

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  5 лет назад

      lol, luckily all the heads operate the same so it doesn't really matter which ports they're plugged in to.

    Hey Vortex,
    Where can I purchase the new TMG-15 laser jammer? Is there a US vendor I can buy them from?

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  5 лет назад

      So I updated the video description to provide info about this. In short, TMG is having some issues right now and I'm not comfortable recommending the product at this time. Hopefully they can get things sorted out quickly. If you'd like one, you can always call them to order.

      @@VortexRadar ,
      Ok thanks Vortex I do have one question? I live in georgia and the dragoneye is used by Georgia state patrol and suwanee Police. Will the TMG jam those compacts?

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  5 лет назад

      It should, but not as well as the ALP. I'd personally recommend the ALP over the TMG, especially in GA.

    • @ParrotHead1980
      @ParrotHead1980 5 лет назад

      @@VortexRadar yeah but ALP is way over priced. Especially when the TMG can jam the same guns. I don't care about JTG. I just need enough time to slow down from 500 to 1000 feet. I would think that a 3 head TMG system on a dark color honda accord would be more than enough against the dragoneye.

    • @VortexRadar
      @VortexRadar  5 лет назад

      I understand and your argument makes sense. However, I've got some concerns for the long term well-being of the company right now and so be careful if you're looking to invest in a TMG at this time. ALP's are expensive, yes, but for good reason. Good luck with your purchase either way!

  • @Edmund_Mallory_Hardgrove

    Unless you're in the Cannonball Run or some other questionable competition, it's just cheaper to stay within the law. All this crap might work but in some states, it might also make your life a lot more complicated if you get caught. It's just not worth it for your average commute.
