Fun fact in the 2.0 mod you could actually shoot the coolant tanks next to Megatron to freeze him so he's a less of a pain in the ass.
You can still shoot the coolant tanks in the vanilla game to freeze him, it's just that the game doesn't do a good enough job of informing the player about it. 2.0 did add the option to do it before Megatron is even able to shoot you at you though.
yeah they had Optimus' voice lines for that but they went unused for some reason

This Game really makes you question the Autobot’s morality considering they cause more destruction then the decepticon.
Isn't it crazy how the movie final battle is in LA and as a Californian we don't have a Washington monument nor a central park 😂
I really like Welker’s performance in this game because it’s clearly different from G1 Megatron but not quite Prime Megatron’s voice, a really nice in between that I quite enjoy
I keep saying, Bayverse Optimus and UT Optimus would be great drinking buddies. One in the closet about his love for war and the other depression into PTSD rage bouts.

Two things: 1) The DS game was better.
2) The original version of the Tfwiki article for this game was hilarious.
The Hoover Internal level is one of the worst in the game because it has all of the hardest chapters/missions (Actually the first and second chapters are easier on pc controls but thats besides the point). Do you think youll cover the "Hoover Dam Edition" mod for the wii version by Digital Arctic once you finish the decepticon side? It brings back the 2 cut levels for both of the factions and it also rehauls them
Maybe one day. For now I’m playing the vanilla games

The only thing I remember from my time playing this game is this accursed Allspark survival mission where I after numerous failed attempts just spent the whole time in block. I like this. Thank you
I have the ps2 version and I remember unlocking a G1 Optimus skin and a G1 Megatron skin as well. like proper skins not just a color scheme like starscreams.
Now I have ptsd.

I always wondered back when I first played both campaigns, that from a power scaling point of view, both Starscream and Blackout are weaker than most drones in the game and Barricade?

My favourite piece of tie in media for theses films are the comics the titan comics released in the uk some of wich are prequels to films but most of them are what if strory showing what would have happened if the deceptions won the final battle in the first movie.

Playing as bumblebee in the hover dam felt off to me he felt more sidey than he did in the city earlier on also are you playing this on the Wii respect the hardest version

Is the decepticon side any less annoying than the auotbot side with the annoying-looking bumblebee mission?
Edit: I recently emulated the game. I heard the boss battle with ironhide is annoying, but after playing a bit of both sides I’m kinda having more fun with the decepticon missions thanks to the starscream sections.
Also I spent about an hour destroying Mission City as Barricade.
This was easy i beat it like, but Megatron is easy to beat now cuz sometimes i replay optimus vs Megatron
I loved this game it was so frustrating too
All I can see is playing this on the Wii sucks
I remember kid me struggling a bit on the ps2 version, but never this bad. Wii version just looks wretched to play.

Isn't this still the only proper open world Transformers game? Kinda wish we got an Arkham/Prototype-esque Transformers game at some point with an original story

I was thinking it could be fun to have a “shadow of war” style of game. Imagine an open workd game in which you can infinitely fight decepticon captains and generals accross the universe

I think a better system than throwing stuff and then meleeing would be nitro boosting into enemies in vehicle mode.
