I LOVE Toto !! Good to see David Paich on stage with them !
ALWAYS great to see David !!❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Leland, I am Christopher Cross's bass player, it was so nice te meet you after the show ! thank you very much 🙏
It was great meeting you and you sounded great!
@@lelandsklar6363 🙏🙏🙏thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
@@krbasse I love reading this exchange. 💪
@@geraldhartley Me too 🙂
Still in good voice and the band sounds great! Thx for posting.
Wow, great to see David Paich back on stage. I sure miss Jeff and Mike. Toto, always a great band.
Y a Simón Phillips
Joseph Williams sounds fantastic!! What a killer band. Everyone is at the top of their game. Leland, I'm sure you loved your time playing with these cats.
Absolutely
Nice that you could sit in the audience and enjoy the show for a change ! 😊
Luke looks so happy, and he's tearing it up like the old days. Incredible talents out there.
Not a big TOTO fan but these guys are great musicians. Luke is one of the best guitarist ever!
What's not to like? Checkout their deep catalog... you'll find an album that grabs you and then you'll be hooked.
Amazing! Luke is smokin’ on the guitar!
Damn! Shannon also breathing super new life and energy. Just killed it. And Warren ham is truly a great vocalist that you never hear referenced.
Shannon Forrest is such an amazing force of a drummer.
Not as powerful as og Simon Phillips
But not even close to how Porcaro was.
Thank you Leland for sharing❤
Fantastic drummer. Jeff Porcaro would approve.
Shannon Forest was an excellent drummer 25 years ago. Now, he is on just a whole other level.
Thanks Leland, you’re a great player and person, regards from Melbourne Australia
Man, they’re tight! A joy to listen to.
Hey now!
To have lived life during the 60’s through now has been nothing short of amazing!
Thank you Sir for love and music is what matters!
YES!!! Hope you and Maureen had a nice time.
We were there too! Just got home. Christopher Cross was excellent as well! ETA: Also, the Jeff Beck moment? That was exquisite. Luke is a master.
Paich…the Elder Statesman of the group. They sound FANTASTIC! Great acoustics there.
Great vocals and always an amazing experience ❤
Great performance. Joseph still has the pipes for the gig
His grandmother was the lady shoplifter at Weaver's Dept. Store on The Andy Griffith Show!
Great I love Toto since the first album. These boys have always rocked.
They were great studio players and sophisticated musicians, just like you, such talent!!!
Thanks again ,Leland 🧙🏼♂️ 💖 ...
Great to see Paich out with the 'Luke' and Paul ,Greg, .Shannon,
Warren, John too!😍
Happy Birthday 🎂 Paul !(again !☮️)🧙🏼♂️💖🎶🎸🎸🎹🥁 🎸 🎹🧙🏼♂️💖
Someone had some great seats. 👍🏾
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this Lee😊
THAT was fun!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us, Leland!! ❤
Danke Leland, für den Mitschnitt. Ich währe so gern dabei gewesen. Viele Grüße aus Tangermünde an der Elbe / Deutschland
👍🙏☮
David Paich sat in with us a few years ago. Sweetest guy in the world and crazy good player. Great to see him back on the big stage.
That is excellent. Now l can say I have been to the Hollywood Bowl.👍☮️
It really does look like that! Especially the first one-- just like actually being there!
@@SoundsFair--M-and-JIt is just like being there and it is very impressive footage and sound.
@steven_scattergood watching a vid of a concert is good but will never be anywhere as near as actually being there.
@@peteandurnot could be, but that first clip was a LOT like what it looks/feels/sounds like at that venue.
@@peteandurnotVery true. When Lee films it feels like you are right there and when you can't travel it feels great to be part of it. Australia is just a little too far.🇦🇺👍
Such a fantastic show! We were there too…Loved it!😎
💖 HI GINA! ❤😊
@@m1nn1s hi 👋🏻
Thanks Lee!
To me the best sounding Toto is still the "Falling In Between" Tour. And I listen to a lot of Toto when at home, in the car or tuning sound systems. Thank you for your part of that, Leland!
Amen! Good to see Greg Phillinganes back in the (tour) band, he is a great addition and he was great on that album. His piano solos are stellar and, oh man, his voice!
I knew it. THANK YOU LEELAND. Love from Arkansas. My favorite band. Luke, thank you for giving Leland tickets❤
As Mr Burns would have said; Excellent!
I saw them two months ago but not with David Paich. They sound so good.
From my favourite album The Seventh One....to the guys who made the original and those playing now. Shannon Forrest is unbelievable.
👍👍 Thanks so much for posting these!!!!
At any age it requires working up a good head of steam to get out to these events, but these two videos (especially the first one with the view of the top of the Bowl in there at some point) made it feel just like being there in real time!
Great ...you got to see somebody else playing....guys you worked with as well...thanx for posting.....Ralph Onofrio
To have lived life through the 60’s thru now has been nothing short of amazing.
Thanks for the ride!
Actually it has been amazing. With lots more still ahead.
This is great! ❤😊 Thank you Leland, and Luke.
Great vantage point from which to enjoy the show. Toto sounding great here.
Lee love it Toto 🎸🎶🎙️👑💗💗💗
Still killing it! Next level musicians! Special shout out to Warren Ham on this one! Is there anything he can't do?
Warren is sings and plays just what someone can imagine(of course, I think about sophisticated music genres) In mid 80s he refused to became Toto's singer.
Unfortunatelly, he is underrated, but he had a chance with Kerry Livgren in band AD, but proggy arrangements and Christian lyrics made a barricade to mainstream music world.
Niice !!! Thankyou for sharing Leland.
Saw them earlier in the year and one of the best touring band I ever heard.
Far Out! Many thanks! 😊 ❤
No words, just perfect...! Real rock..!
Thank you for sharing Leland! ❤❤❤🇨🇦✌️
Hey Lee that was a great song
The band sure brings back memories for you and I'm sure you wish you were playing with them. Great band.
Saw you and Maureen walking in…😊 Such a fabulous night! We had a blast!
Was a fun evening!
They are on my list of bands to see, if I could only get them to come to Ireland
Good morning. So cool to hear from someone in Ireland! The one place across the pond I haven’t visited. Hopefully, will get there one of these days.
You must have been JONESING to be up there jamming with your buddy Luke!! You're the best lee.
So wish I was there next to you guys!! Wowza!!! They sound amazing!!! 🎸🎵🥰👏👏👏👏
Thank you, Lee!!! ❤ you!! 🤗🎵
Hi SUE CORRIGAN 🇮🇪 🍀 💚 ME TOO..
(love you in Cape 🐟 Cod! 🤗 ☮️ 🌟 💖 🎶)
The great (and FUNNY!) Greg Phillinganes on co-keys! ✊
They are so good and tight.
So cool to hang with you later... Dennis Atlas is a hell of addition to the band .. 26 years old.. WTH!!!
This was great. I did see Steve Lukather when he performed with Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band, in 2015. Cheers, Leland! ✌️
I absolutely love this song! And that cool outro! Stunning! Thanks for posting!
Leland your a lucky man the company you’ve been in !!
Thanks so much for sharing Lee, really appreciate it. Looks like a fabulous show.
How incredible to watch friends & fellow musicians so many years beyond their heyday & sounding so fine. Toto rocked us all. Big love to them and you & Maureen.
Thanks for this, Leland.
😎👍👍
Thanks Mr. Sklar
😎✌👍❤🖖
Love Brother
💜👩💜 Wow, Thank you 😊
Have seen warren and Steve live with ringos group, would love to catch a Toto show
I was visiting LA from Australia a couple of weeks ago and saw Khruangbin at the Bowl. Amazing venue. The sound was immaculate.
I think I hear Gina screaming at the end ……yeah..,definitely Gina’s scream. 😁😉.
Awesome as always . thanks for posting Le
Thank you so much for sharing with us. I wish I was there so much it hurts. Your post is healing
Go Luke!... Still kickin' ass after all these years!
Holy crap! Is that Luke with hair as white as mine? LOLOL Thanks, Lee. You're the best, brother.
@@jstnxprsn I was just about to comment about that. I’ve watched it gradually change over the past couple of years. Luke is one cool dude!
@@turkfiles That's for sure. No matter what color his hair is or if it's down to his feet or if he's bald, he remains a Guitar God and my favorite living guitarist.
@@jstnxprsn we’re on the same page on this one. I’ve seen so many interviews of him, and he is so down to earth. So dang talented, yet a truly decent guy. He’s net-worth is about $80 million. He could stop playing and just kick back. He doesn’t, because he just loves what he does. He was born to be one of the greatest all-around guitarists of all time. Been doing it for almost 50 years!
@@turkfiles And that, my friend, is the difference between a pop star or rock star and a musician. Stars keep going for their ego. Musicians for their love of music.
@@jstnxprsn amen! Couldn’t have said it better. My wife is a professional musician. She started playing piano when she was 6, and hasn’t stopped since then. It’s part of her DNA. She’ll play for free if you need a keyboardist and don’t have the $. She works quite a few gigs, sometimes concurrently. Sometimes the money is very good and others not so good. She doesn’t care, she loves to play and sing because it brings her joy.
Awesome!
Wish I had seen this last night!!!!! I caught Chris......I should have known forgot PST .....
Luke slays!!!!!!!!! Guy was born to play!!!!!!
Joe has the power of MEATLOAF in his voice.
They sound GOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!
Amazing Lee. Thanks for sharing the appreciation for these FANTASTIC artists. Especially seeing David and Greg back in the lineup is a treat as well. No disrespect to the current bassist but it would be awesome to see you on stage with the gang as well.😊
Best Bassist in the World in in the house.😎.. No Pressure!! ✌❤
Thank you mister Sklar for this fantastic opportunity to see this marvelous group and to see again the great David Paich on the stage.
Brilllllliant - thanks for sharing ⛵️ 👍
Thanks Lee, great to see a video from last night - wanted to be there
Joseph Williams still rocking his voice ❤️
Great performance.
I was there but not in those seats though. LOL! It was a great concert.
Simply a tight freaking band!
Still they are amazingly tight. Great band!
I agree
Hi Lenny, my Bro is drummer 🥁 in BBB 🚜 band in DK 🇩🇰... 🥁 🎤
Peace ✌️ ☮️ and happiness LENNY...
Great Interview with LEE 😇😍☮️💖😎🥁🪘🪇🪈📻
Visited my sister in Glendale in1985. She took me to Universal studio tour.
While riding tram behind theater, I spotted TOTO equipment containers!
Did you stay for the show?
Great show! I was there, amazing sounds.
Thanks for posting this Leland❤
Lee Sklar is always a Toto member to me!
A beautiful night at the Hollywood Bowl! Two amazing concerts! Left there smiling!
Great show. Paich sat in.
A great snippet - thanks, Lee
Yay!
Hi, Gina 🤗 ☮️ 🌟 💖 🎶
This is the gang I heard here in Bergen at the Cowfield, where you played with Collins Lee. Except Page. He didn't want to tour...😂
Thanks for share 👌🏻
Thank you so much!!! I love when you show us bits of the live music you see!!!! Be safe and well. COVID is everywhere. Glad it’s Red Rocks!!!
Sounds like a great show...thanks for sharing :)
I appreciate you and thank you for making content.
Alan 🥁 ❤
Wow 🤩 great to see this iconic band still rocking at my second favorite 88 acres of the city of angels, my favorite being the Greek Theater for sound
Thank you.❤❤🙏
Tricky arrangement. Great driving Bass Part but I’m struggling to hear the flute though!
WoW......David !
Where is the next Toto? I hate to live in a world where musicians from this generation are gone.
David Paich sitting in.
