Right, Elizabeth, who had an immensely successful 40 years on the throne had NO original policies or thoughts but happened to "get credit" for what Mary did /s. Mary died after a mere five years on the throne and she didn't accomplish much beyond a (very temporary) restoration of Catholicism. She was merely the wife of Philip of Spain, while Elizabeth I beat the Spanish Armada and established England as a great seafaring power, which it would be for several hundred more years Sorry,, but Mary didn't have that kind of vision.@@candicehoneycutt4318

All the changes that happened in the UK happened inspite of her not because of her, she didn't give a sod about the British public and only cared about getting her mongral children into places of power throughout Europe.

As famous as Cleopatra was, I think Wu Zetian should’ve been in 3rd because Wu actually ruled China during a time where women had no power, whatsoever. She did not depended on another ruler to secure her power and she was smart enough to expand her territory and the empire thrived under her. In addition, she didn’t grow up as a princess. She planned her way up from a lowly concubine to queen. She was smart and brave. She also lived into her old age, which is not so common in her time as an emperor.

How is Queen Victoria not on this list? She ruled the biggest empire ever and she literally built it to be the biggest empire! It's quite sad how ridiculous this list is

Elizabeth the First and Queen Victoria were each FAR more powerful than Margaret Thatcher.

Thank you for the list, but its name must be changed from the best women leaders to the most famous women Leaders How can you create a painting of Elizabeth II and Margaret Thatcher without the England's best leader, Elizabeth I, or even her sister Mary? In addition to this, where is Dehia, the best person to ever lead North Africa? Russia has many women other than Catherine, what about Olga? And Elizabeth Petrovana And many others who should have been on this list but are not famousAlso, there is a very wrong view, which is that Cleopatra is the best Egyptian pharaoh, and it is very wrong. What about Nefertiti and Hatsheput?
