Our first experience of thermal baths and we were NOT disappointed! A mere 10 min bus ride away from where we were staying brought us to an amazing experience that we will never forget. Swimming in such amazing warm water whilst snow is falling on you; now that is an incredible feeling. We loved every moment! It was quite an experience to visit outdoor thermal baths in winter.
Located about 18km outside of Zakopane and easily accessible by bus, Chochołowskie Thermal Baths are the largest thermal baths in Poland! The thermal waters are rich in many micronutrients, and you are guaranteed a surge of vitality and full regeneration of the body after soaking in these thermal baths. Yes, please!

Our tips for visiting Chocholowski Thermal Baths
◾Remember to take some slops/flip-flops along with you for walking around between the pools.
◾ Keep an eye on the time, because as soon as your time runs out, they start charging you per minute.
◾ Your wrist tag unlocks your locker (we were SO confused when we first tried to open our lockers😂)

Hahaha 🤣 it took us a WHILE to figure it out. You get those blue bracelets and there is a contact point where you press your bracelet against the block of lockers and it opens your locker 🤯 we felt so cool! 'Definitely didn't open and close the locker a gazillion times because it was so cool' 😅😂

This experience looks amazing! The thermal springs in Caledon in the Western Cape are also really nice but definitely not as cool as the ones in Poland ❄️

@@SarahandMarek yes went a few year back. Definitely wasn't quite the same experience as you guys had. It's rather difficult to enjoy a hot spring when it's 35 degrees outside 😂

Minus 3... omg that is sooo cold! It's funny how you guys were swimming around with snow on top of your head 😂 that place looks amazing! Totally worth the long bus wait if you ask me! I was legitimately wondering if the bathrooms were unisex because I remember using a few that were in Europe but no Marek just decided to use the ladies' restroom ahaha. I would definitely prefer staying in the outside pools as well! Plus it looks like they have soo much for you to do with the whirlpool, the bar, the basketball nets!! I'm sure it would be awesome too if they had a band playing music on the stage lol. I like that you put the conversion rates in the end!! The only thermal hot springs we have been to is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and I would definitely recommend it but it was super expensive (as is everything else in Iceland though lol) 😬 then of course we heard about the thermal baths in Budapest and are so mad at ourselves for not going because it looks so cool!! Loved all of the information in this video 😄
It was FREEZING up until we hopped into the water 😉 honestly is was surreal to have the snow falling on us while we were swimming 😍❄️ totally worth it! And there is so much on offer especially when everything is open and running. Hahaha we just walked 🤣 didn't even look at the sign on the door properly. We would love to go to Blue Lagoon, we're not looking forward to the prices though 😂 so glad you found it useful!
@@SarahandMarekI was in zackopane earlier this year and loved it. Did you go to the blue lagoon afterwards? I went there in 2020 a few weeks before lockdown and loved it

We were there in March 2022 during a week skiing in Zakopane, did you check out the textil free upstairs? Recommend therme erding just outside of Munich as well.

Definitely wish we were there right now... We're literally sitting right in front of our fireplace as we watch this because we're freezing our butts off. 😂😂 What a beautiful place!!

There are many springs in Bulgaria. You can Try Velingrad, Sandanski, Pavel Banya, Stara Zagora, Kazanlak near Bansko village of Banya. you will like them. :)

quick question , why were the inside jacuzzis closed ? was it because it was winter ? were going to zakopane in January 2024 ! I've just thought was it something to do with covid ?
