    • @ed379

I very much doubt he ever ran a real 4.2. I do believe he could run a high 4.3 when he was young, and could still run a 4.5 into his mid 30s.... very fast player, and he could maintain full speed with the dribble effortlessly. The GOAT

Horace Grant was a competent PF/center for his era, not elite like Ewing, Olajuwon, Robinson, Malone, or others. But still, just observe his athleticism, his coordination, and his moves. Horace is miles ahead of what we consider elite PFs/centers of today. If Horace played today, he'd very easily average 20+ points and 10+ rebounds. Very easily. Just goes on to show you the general decline of today's league in terms of athleticism, durability, and fundamental positional skills.

No one was allowed to stop Jordan . If they did it would affect ticket and sneaker sales . Nike owned the league and Jordan. No one dared hard foul or hang on him. They called him Air because that's all that was around him , Air.

  • @nonplayerzealot4

That’s the worst GW shoot look/take I’ve seen of Mike’s. I’m a Lakerfan, but I’m 48. I’ve seen a load of MJ in my day. That looked like the kind of attempt Kobe would FREQUENTLY get in the same situation. He once shot thr ball over the backboard with FOUR Nets in his face. The Jersey boys whacked his final shot. Lakers had Phil and I would wonder for years why they couldn’t get Kobe or Fisher/Horry solid looks for GW shots. Not all the time, but it was a persistent problem. An outlier would be Kobe drawing defenders and passing to Horry for a GW at POR in the 02 first round. Rare play and rare that Kobe would be willing to decoy in a moment like that. The fact that it was a playoff game no doubt factored in (not to mention Scott Pippen being an eternal shit for the 1.8 thing which Kob wanted uh zero part of). After that, 2010 was Kobe’s GW dream year. He had 6-7 of them and most were solid single man D shots or relatively unguarded ones on broken plays. I hated Phil’s peel off plays where the team would peel away like an onion on the inbounds. Shit actually worked in 04 at MEM w/ Kobe and Fisher for the 0.4 (miracle) shot. I don’t see that play in Bulls gms.
