you should probably go listen to the whole Whitney album Light Upon The Lake. the song "Golden Days" is fuckin great, "Dave's Song", "The Falls" are highlights for me, but as a whole pretty solid album

I like this version infinitely more. Had actually never heard of Whitney before. Just checked out the video for the original version and was like, "Oh, it's hipster folk." Then there was a shot of a guy with PBR and it was too much. The ending came with that Nels Cline-ish solo and trumpets and I appreciated it a lot more, but I still like this version more.
