11:16 just fyi I think the flashing lights are client-side, so other cars shouldn’t see it - they will only see intentional flashes (if you bind that feature to a button). I learned this after apologizing over the radio in a league race. Note I haven’t tested it extensively, so it’s only “likely true”. Great vids! Hope you’re enjoying the ACC experience as much as I do :)

Ah interesting, probably for the best. 😅 Thank you!

Looks fun! My rig is slowly arriving so I'll be able to start trying ACC properly soon

Cool, what are you getting? Looking forward to maybe seeing some ACC content from you as well. 👍

@@HDeeRacing There will definitely also be ACC content, and even some GT7 content.
I got the GT Omega RS12 Carbon, the GT DD Pro wheel (8Nm), and the V3 Club Sport pedals 🙂

Not cheaping out I see. 😉 And here I am with my self built wooden rig. 🤣

@@HDeeRacing I'm hoping it's an investment that will eventually pay for itself through this YT thing we're trying 🙂
I actually have a ton of respect for people that have built their own rig. Takes craftsmanship, dedication, and ingenuity. I admire that 🙂

@@zerraticz For me it was more desperation, as I couldn't justify spending more money on a rig and space would've been tight as well, so desk or wooden rig was my only option. Works well enough for me at the moment, maybe I'll get a proper rig at some point. 😅😅

The merc at the start basicly forgot you existed and blindly turned in on you. Not sure how he was oblivious to his proximity radar and spotter but there's really nothing you could have done different i think, even with that little remaining space on the right. Probably unintentional as it seemed he wanted the racing line through the chicane. Being a passanger in those incidents is just pure pain.

He actually messaged me and said he didn't think I would brake that late and wanted to move over to the racing line. I had to explain to him that we were both already on the brake and he moved over during that. That's moving under braking which is against LFM rules, so he did get a penalty for that. Sucks to be in those incident, yes, but I can't claim to have never done that myself, it happens in the heat of racing.

    Great race.
    I prefer slower cars, I can't wait for AC2!

I gotta say, ACC fits you better than Forza Motorsport.
Also do you advice the KTM to a newbie in ACC that can barely do 1 lap without crash or going to the grass? 😭🤣🤣

Thank you. 😊 And yes, from the GT2s the KTM is probably the tamest, so I would recommend it actually. As I said in my beginners guide, the GT4s and the M2 are also a good choice to learn ACC.

Hello HD, another interesting video! Having replays is a “Must Have” which FM sorely lacks in multi player. You also bring up excellent points WRT braking differences between the different vehicles and tunes/upgrades. I have thought about this very point during my races in FM. I have come to the conclusion that very few players actually or will ever have the skill level to recognize these differences and be able to react quick enough during intense race play. I can see why the developers are challenged by so many variables when attempting to establish a fair and fun system for as many players as possible. It really is an impossible task.
Does Assetto have a skill point system similar to FM to rank players? That’s another aspect that I believe leads to more risk taking for fear of losing points. I think about my own skill number that has recently been reduced due to races where I have been tossed around. I actually care more about this number than how I place. I don’t believe this should be a motivating factor because it leads to the wrong behaviours. I think FM should drop this skill number and strictly post the players safety rating.
As always thanks for the video😀👍

ACC has a lot of different ratings, like one for track knowledge, consistency and so on. Afaik they are not really used. There is one rating which is similar to the skill rating, which is used for competition servers. Haven't been there in a while though, so can't really say much here. LFM uses a seperate skill rating (called ELO), which is used to determine which race split you will go into. Safety rating is the first decider though.
