I actually like 12
How did u get so many subs so fast. Seems like yesterday u still had 5k
You’re feet
My favorite is when you hold your fookin D... chord..
"the more you practice, the less questions you ask" wow that was deep
I disagree I feel like the more I practice, the more I learn, then the more I feel like I don’t know shit so I ask questions
DoughHoe45 there’s a name for that. It’s the dunning-Kruger effect and it’s very interesting.
The more practice, the more I answer my own stupid questions and come up with more useful questions.
japanime555 that’s literally the opposite of the DC effect you fool.
popcornfilms1 first: I love your use of fool. And not to be too mansplainy, but from what I know it starts with you knowing nothing, then thinking you know everything, then realizing how little you actually know. After that you just continue learning. Atleast that’s what the dunning Kruger graphs show.
What kind of mumbo jumbo are you talking about Brandon? The only chords are C, G, and Em. Duh.
What aboot A, eh?
D?
Here lad, a gift of charity
Am
What about C#minb7#11#13b15dimb17b19aug21#23b25b27sus29#31? Everyone HAS to know that one!
is duh a chord? lol
march 2020 flexing: toilet paper
april 2020 flexing: table that can change hight while youre on it
How he discover that tho?
@@Plabable. there are no accidents
"I'm PISSED OFF...but I'm not even mad" 😂😂😂
Brandon looks like he would complain about sand being rough and getting everywhere
Back to reddit from whence thou hast come!
Don’t forget it being coarse and irritating
He's going to guitar up a school
'This is whats called the first inversion, because we're starting on the third, which is the second note of the chord.'
ahahahahaahahaha every guitar theory vid ever
Yes, this is a great musician quote!
Every one knows it’s not a REAL chord unless you play ALL the strings
spaces 1990 bruh no
@@bnhdeluxe Y E S
Damn I won't be able to play an A then LOL, unless I bar it
@@Asimov16 well e is the fifth and if you just play an A major and just include the e strings it may sound like garbage, but itll still be an a chord
@@williamconway9813 it will be E/A major then, quite thicc.
The quote I live by is “I’m PISSED OFF, but I’m not even mad”
The indie band bit almost killed me
But I'm not even mad
He wasn't the guitar teacher we deserve, but the one that we needed.
Great content lmaoo
I haven’t watched a RUclips channel so entertaining, like ever. Thank you.
Genuinely awesome vid, I'm actually surprised by how many things I just learnt. It's so enlightening. Thank you, mate.
I love ur content, is BOTH entertaining and worth learn all the stuff you show us
Been playing guitar for 34 years... yes, old... and your vids are great. love the content....
and love the music theory, took me back to college days...
Cheers from Montana
I feel like not enough RUclipsrs ask people about their day and I'm glad Brandon does. Makes me feel like a real subscriber.
This is the only guitar tutorial channel where i not only learn cool shit...but also laugh my ass off!
Living legend dude. 😎
Great content man. Love your channel ❤️❤️🔥🔥
Hate that I felt so attacked watching this
Love that I learned a lot of new stuff though
Really good guitar player but kinda negative guy
the confidence is so humbling for myself
This is the most enjoyable inversion lesson I've ever had.
Those reaches you did, made me sit up and take notice.
I've accepted you as member of the brotherhood of the guitar.
Keep the faith brother.
That riff at the end was juicccyyyy!!!!! Thank you for your time 🙏🏾
You just opened up my mind. Thanks mate.
We need more people like you. My favourite chord shape was D.
A lot of these shapes are probably handy for voice leading as transition chords, but I rarely use these inversions. The last one you played (dissonant major chord) is actually ued a lot in pop for going from C to Am.
My favourite is E power chord
The open strum chord on standard E tuning is far superior
More than happy to help the algorithm. Thanks man amazing video
Great video man ! Love people who can barre chords
This is awesome keep it up
Legend says he is still turning the crank of his adjustable table.
Usefull video.love the jazzline in the end of video.
Just here to help out with the algorithm
You deserve being on all those shred Collab and guitar solo Collabs
Thanks mate. I’m studying theory like mad right now even tho I’m stupid and your stuff is legit helpful.
this is a solid 10 years of practice. And then drop 2,3, in different qualities. stunning
love your vids! :D
I got an ad of some guy promoting a guitar leaning ap after he said "who the fook is that guy?" And the timing was perfect
This guy makes me rewind and fook up the pause button more than any other RUclipsr. Congratulations, mate ❣️
60/40 ... 60 percent entertaining and 40 percent informative! *many thanks for posting your video :)
Some fooking quality contents here!!!

Didn't get any sleep last night so i played some guitar and discovered a chord shaped i never used before and moved it up and down the scale having fun with it.
I realized I need to program new shapes into my hands so i looked ''chord shapes'' on youtube and here i am
You're great btw thank you
I bet your arm was sore after that intro
That's why he came up with this chords cause his hands were all jelly like... 😂😂
Thanx for this video..inspiring for my owns
That intro was dedication 🔥💯

Supper cool Introduce 😎

Well, my day has been pretty good. I woke up to have a Zoom call but then went back to sleep afterwards because it's the weekend. Then I woke up later and had dinner. It was good. Pot roast b/c Easters. Oh, and I got candy. Yummy.
Not that anybody cares.
Hope this helps the algorithm. This is amazing content as always.
I had forgotten that it was Easter
So you're telling me that there's more that using the F shape all along the guitar? Fook
Exactly what I was thinking
thank you for your introduction i just found your channel and this made me sub
Still a well produced and informative piece
As an irishmen, I appreciate hearing "fook" every 3 seconds
I thought he was just being REALLY Canadian tbh :P
I love brandon
Thanks Fam
this man be looking like every skywalker in one
wow no one told me i'd find the best guitar teacher on youtube what the HECK and hes humble af
Best intro of 2020 so far with the lowest budget ever, nice inversions too
This video seriously left me feeling O_o
I'm in that weird spot where i -almost- understand stuff like thiss
This video is actually useful
Man i liked all your videos just because you are awesome, i found you on Instagram but never knew your name and how to find you, so glad i did...
The table stuff was longer than the vid lmao
And this is the day, I subscribed
Awesome
It would be nice if you’ve shown the connection with the CAGED system, that way all of these shapes wouldn’t look so random. After all, any chord on the guitar can be traced back to one of the five open chord shapes, I.e. CAGED (this includes chord extensions and inversions)
I'm glad a friend threw one of your videos my way. I tossed this on my Discord. Hopefully it gets you a few more subscribers.
I love his attitude
The raw strength on display was impressive
great guitarist, great teacher but... smile!!!!!
I think Brandon is a genius but so am I! I just haven't completed my lessons and if I do im hoping it I can accomplish similar things, only way more brutal. I was about to give up until i saw this video confirming that my way of teaching guitar will be special.
Yup..

I'm just here to hunt all these subtitles and yeah, I'm a professional.
13:00 i fukin love his bicep

Some feedback, might be good to integrate an overlay or prop to distinguish your bits from your instruction/advice. An example of this is Jeff Nippard's channel where he rolls out "Bro Jeff" (which is just him with a backwards baseball cap) to do his jokes, and this helps him to avoid contaminating his science content. Helps the viewer to flip the brain from passive to active when the bit is over. Leave it to you to figure out what tool you'd use for this purpose since you'll be switching frequently, something as simple as slapping on some shades or a cringey fedora would be an efficient way to do this.
Loving your videos Brandon. Informative and entertaining for sure. I know you have all of the time in the world - so what are the chances of you transcribing that jazz ditty at the end of the video for those of us who have subscribed (over your repeated demands not to)???
Idk if Mr D'Eon doesn't agree with this but it helps me a lot, when you can't stretch your fingers enough for a chord, put the capo on a fret where you can reach it and slowly move the capo down a fret until you don't need the capo anymore. That has helped me with a lot of chords
I did the same :)
But I guess if some people really have very small hands and cannot stretch that far even with tons of practice, an alternative can be play a guitar with a smaller body shape
pretty fine video:) that first inversion voicing is really mysterious sounding.
Also... unbelievable great tip from Ted Greene: to find an inversion for a chord, raise each note in the same string up to the next note belonging to that chord.
This might give you unplayable shapes sometimes, but most of the times it's really useful and quick. Every shape in this lesson can be arrived to by that method
That intro was epic
1:43 yes!! Exactly!!!
I felt offended when he called me an idiot at 6:06 so i stopped watching the video
That word triggers me, but I channel it in a positive way and just eat my vegetables
I’m a pianist watching this and I actually feel flattered with your “fuck you” dedicated to me
I could learn inversions *OR* I could play an Em7 then a G then a Dsus4 then an A7sus4 with a capo on the 2nd
Wonderwall?
@@thepoweroftheweed2215 ayy finally
Cheers to the intro
Right when he said,"who the fook is that guy." A 52 week guitar player add started playing🤣lol thnx brandon
If band camp in the 70's had you. I might still be confused....but a lot more happy.
You have done my head in within 2 mins
wow cool!
The best way to impress a girl:
Whack out one of these chords in front of her
Harry Court Haha true
Harry Court lol
Well I tried whacking something else out but she got all dramatic and shit so now I'm on a list. 🙄
sdrawecw09 you shouldn’t have played the D...
the end broke my brain
It’s like Dennis from it’s always sunny teaching you chord inversions.
I love the sound of 7 1 3 5 voicings of Maj7
Buddy ur literally sick. Raw as fuck i mess with it
Great shit mate! Valuable ! fucking up the light button is one of my fav parts of the day keep making these videos...and yea..the quote about the more you practice the less you question is very true...do the work people...feel better about yourself...goals and shit...motivated af
I don't know why, but I think your foookun awesome
Watched this again. Props on that intro btw. It had to be some work lol
Waooo amazing..
Top-tier edutainment
hey i like the high pace jazz reveal for the shapes but they do seem like they are best applied in an avant garde jazz performance style
