Every time there is an error you show us how to repair it is a bonus to the video. You spoke about safety, as you always do, thank you. I submit to those who are not as safety conscious that you may not have an allergy to epoxy now but it is exposure that causes allergies. At any sign that your body is reacting get your safety gear on and NEVER forget to use it. Also, if you have other allergies like I do to latex, you must be aware of those substances in the safety gear. I didn’t think about the sealer part of my respirator being rubber, a latex product, until I got a rash. I covered the whole inside with paper tape and now have no reactions. Once again Summer, thank you for a great tutorial.
Love, love, love your tutorials. You have saved me so much epoxy and money by doing the hang method. You are pure awesome sauce Summer. Thank you for sharing and caring😁
I absolutely love your tutorials. The videos are so clear, you explanations are so descriptive, and you are constantly offering advice and troubleshooting!!! Thank you!
Hi , thank you for your video it’s so clear and understandable for beginners , I was wondering you you leave it turning over night till the resin is set ?
I got my kit and made my own Queen Bee mug! I want to make more so I ordered mugs from Hogg. Where can I get the cut files for the deals? They need to be the same as the kit. Same 'Queen bee" same bees, honeycomb and drips. I am using my mug every morning at work!
Summer I want to thank you for telling us to always wear a mask, nobody else does this and I think it’s really important. I couldn’t find the kit for this cup on your site. Just wondering if its just not there yet?
I find the silhouette software so much easier to use. I started out with cricuts and I bought a silhouette and sold all my cricut stuff and never looked back.
Question: when you were sanding it you said after washing it you would not touch it again with bare hands but then putting the decals on you touched it quite a bit with bare hands. Did I misunderstand you?
sometimes it happens, just be sure you wipe it down with alcohol or wash with dawn again before you epoxy it and it will clean the oils off that may have gotten on there with your hands, oils can repel the epoxy and cause fish eyes. At that point in the video she had already epoxied the glitter layer, so yes, non gloved hands to apply the decals you would then wash it again after spray paint and before your next coat of epoxy
@@Character_6 The ungloved hands were used after sanding. If you look at the video again, she explains not to touch it after sanding, washing and before you epoxy.... she does touch it with bare hands AFTER she epoxied the glitter layer.... she said that when she came back and added the decals.
Love this can’t wait for my order to come in, would love a circuit machine but I bought a silhouette cameo off of Facebook marketplace and unfortunately you get what you pay for... Absolutely love your videos
Wait, so after applying the decals you sprayed it white then added Payton? It was kind of confusing because you didn’t mention spraying it till you came back and the cup should have already been glittered. I’m just trying to clarify because I am going to attempt this cup! Edit to add: How many coats of glitter did you end up doing? This video was confusing. Not sure if it was just me but when it showed you applying glitter the second time it looked like the cup didn’t have any glitter at all. It didn’t look like a second coat?
Megan Witsche I completely understand. She does a fantastic job with everything she does. This was the only video I was ever confused and I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every single video 😂 I just wanted to be clear on this one because I’m attempting it soon! Thanks so much 💜
Was it really that EASY to see/pull that blue honeycomb up thru the 777, paint & Glitter???? With the 777 and paint...I would think they would be SEALED in...?
You have to click on the 3 lines next to the cart in the upper right hand corner. The lines will drop down a menu where you can click on products and find her glitter.
I just went and investigated and It sold out in about 20 minutes.THis has been the most popular kit so far. I will be making more tomorrow and they will be available again. Sorry Love!
that is going to vary according to your skill level.... when I first started it took me forever just to glitter and seal a cup for decals, now, it's easy for me...
She created the decals. She also has the entire kit that comes with all the decals in the tutorial, the mug, and 2 glitters available on her site Littleleeandrose if you’d like to recreate the whole look
I have searched all over Amazon for the weeding ring, but it keeps showing me jewelry like I cant spell. Please let me know where you got yours, the link doesn't have one!
@@wendymilleravenue7photography It's color theory :) Complementary means the colors cancel each other out which is what she's doing here. It's a really smart idea to combat the yellowing.
Whoever told you that adding a blue dye to your epoxy would counteract the yellowing lied to you. 😂 If you want to cancel out yellowing, you'd use the opposite color on the color wheel... Which would be violet/purple. The reason I know this, is because I'm a nail tech and lots of manufacturers will tint their Gels with a very slight violet hue to prevent yellowing. You're adding blue which will mean that when it starts to yellow, it's gonna look green instead... Which makes no sense. Start using PURPLE dye instead of blue if you truly want to help with yellowing.
I was VERY confused by your video, you commented in your first layer of epoxy sanding that you will NOT touch the cup again with bare hands yet in the next step you had bare hands all over the cup and in future steps as well. Then you added a layer of Payton, said you would come back after it dried, when you came back it appeared you had an entirely different cup that didn’t have any glitter on it and proceeded to put your first layer of Payton yet again
That was if she was going straight to epoxy again so it didnt fisheye. If you do touch the cup you'd need to wipe it down with either rubbing alcohol or acetone before epoxy so it doesn't fisheye
Hi Katie! Summer is still learning to video edit. The layer after sanding you don’t want to touch so there are no fish eyes yes after that layer is dry you can touch it. She did add 2 layers of White Payton glitter in the visit showed her second layer first then her first layer it was just backwards as she is still learning to video edit. Hopefully this helps you understand the tutorial better
I was hearing you say Take off the handle” and I was thinking. You can’t take off the handle. Silly me. Totally not related to cups but I was flipping they a vintage sears catalogue I found at an estate sale and saw that they sold Asbestos stick on tiles back in the 70’s. This is why any home bought prior to 1978, you have yo be so careful and just know if you do buy prior to ‘78 you sign an addendum stating you are aware of the hazards.

I really like this cup. My family recently recognized that I am the queen. I guess I will have to make myself one of these.

Love this video!! What is the first step in painting the mug (brown)?
yes, watch the tutorial on how to prep a cup on her channel, the she spray painted it a similar color to the Bosley glitter

Can you put that foam on your drying rack on the PVC pipe?
Cheyenne Surkyn Yes, at least I can and I have 1/2 inch pvc wands on my turners. Happy New Year. 🎊
I find the silhouette software so much easier to use. I started out with cricuts and I bought a silhouette and sold all my cricut stuff and never looked back.
you let the white paint dry before adding the adhesive spray?
Love it, need that in my life
Thank you for all you do
What color spray paint is this?
Bosley is a champagne colored glitter so you would want to get a color similar to that color....
Very cute! Could this be done using the hang method?
Question: when you were sanding it you said after washing it you would not touch it again with bare hands but then putting the decals on you touched it quite a bit with bare hands. Did I misunderstand you?
That's exactly what she said. And then handled it without gloves for the remaining of the video! Go figure 🤷........ Says one thing, but does another

I was questioning the same 🤔🤔
Do you sell the spinner separately from the package deal?

I have a silhouette and a cricut. I use my silhouette 100% of the time. I love my cameo
I have a silhouette and a cricut and my silhouette is used much more than the cricut!!!!...You will love it when you start using it!!!!...
Stupid question, it there a bundle of kit available for this?
Did you spray paint it white before you applied the spray adhesive then glitter?
Yes she spray painted it white before adding the spray adhesive
I wonder where they got that foam from , it’s nice and big

it's a spray paint similar to the color of the Bosley glitter.... Bosley is champagne/gold color

Love it
Was it really that EASY to see/pull that blue honeycomb up thru the 777, paint & Glitter????

you can put hot glue dots on the pieces you want to pull up to make them easier to find
Wish you would have pointed that out in the video!! Or did you and I MISSED IT????
I couldn’t find the glitter on your site. Am I missing something?

LadyTaurus Queen absolutely!
yes, after the epoxy is fully cured it is no longer toxic as long as you use FDA compliant epoxy

The complementary color of yellow is a bluish purple, not blue. Orange is the complementary color of blue.
