  • We all know that for some neurodivergent writers--if we don't see it, it doesn't exist. Scrivener is my go-to software for novel writing and sometimes screenwriting. Its layout helps me plot, note, and add images to my projects to keep them stored away so I don't lose them in notebooks and Word docs. Because of this, I use it often! SO, after finishing my first book during NaNoWriMo in 2019 and rewriting many drafts it was finally time to compile the draft and send it out to readers.
Unfortunately, my readers noticed quite a lot of errors. I had rushed to send it off without grammar checking it and didn't think twice about the fact that my neurodivergence means if I don't see anything immediately wrong, I don't think further. After checking into Scrivener's archaic grammar checker, I looked into alternate routes that made it EASY for me to check it without exporting and importing somewhere else just to use grammar checkering applications. Then, we still have to update the master file in Scrivener.
FINALLY, I found a blog post (www.jenterpstr...) that explained how to do EVERYTHING in one spot.
BTW. Grammarly Desktop works in every program too, as long as you're logged in through the desktop app. Yes, even RUclips.

Oh no! I checked into it, it seems like that function has a few limitations with phones and maybe tablets, if you use those. 😅 What program are you using Grammarly desktop with (Scrivener or Word)?
Also, when clicking into the page, if the little G icon has a number it’ll take time to load the color lines. If the logo doesn’t have a number and after loading gives you an emoji, it hasn’t found anything.
