The treasure ships also gather quite a bit faster than mines. On another note I don't think speedy halbs are fast enough unless you get military drummers from the advanced arsenal as well, but it's so hard to squeeze the card in, I never seem to be able to make it work.

Good game! By the way, the ship wrecks have very high gold collection rate (much better than regular mines). Typically you want to mine from them right away.
