He is playing better characters than Marth yet still takes the L. Actual Skill Issue. Like come on don't be this blind. He needs to stop relying on character picks and just grind the MUs. That's why Shadic is doing way better despite playing a "mid tier"

@tuoljg learning is a choice regardless of the gap zain is only doing this for another 2 months so it doesn't really matter. But in the mean time he can get better.

Also it’s interesting to watch Leo’s Marth again because he rarely plays him anymore and doesn’t main him, and that it plays so differently than mine lol. Much more grounded and dancing blade heavy

Yeah all of the better Marths quit competing. Spyder-Marth was on the rise in terms of skill but quit due to people constantly dissing him after taking games off Mr. E. He seems to be way happier not competing, though. May never see him in a tournament again but at least he's still on YT.
I don’t think the other comments understood your question. I think Leo’s Marth in Ult is like Zain’s Roy in Melee. It comes out rarely (because Marth is generally not considered to be a good character) and does better than it should. Ignaize is a worse player than Leo who mains Marth. I’m sure the best Roy *main* in Melee is a better parallel to Ignaize than Zain.
Leo not believing in Marth is exactly why he can't make him work. Lost to Kurama and got salty, smh. Should just work on the MU instead of relying solely on characters to win. That was a winning MU and he still got cooked... and somehow it's all Marth's fault? He switched to Lucina that same set and got obliterated so what's the argument here? Love Leo but he has way too big of a skill issue to be throwing all of that Marth slander, especially if his Lucina is worse.

They're really not though? I think they're going easy on him. At the most they're just punishing beginner mistakes, and then correcting him with tips! Zain will be pretty good very fast. I'd love to see him compete but who knows what he'll do!😁
