Couldn't agree more, i just love her. Watching Lisa Eldridge has given me the confidence to use very subtle make-up - you don't have to slather on loads of foundation, just enhance what you already have. Plus the model on here is so adorable!
The model seems so happy and it was so fun to look at her because most models try to look more serious and sexy which is also really nice to look at but she had such a beautiful aura surrounding her, she seems so nice :D
This model is a freak of nature (in a good way!) - flawless skin, super long eyelashes and eyebrows that are like small furry animals. I hope she realises how lovely she is and appreciates it while she is in full bloom. Beautiful colours.
Can you please do a colorful makeup look on someone with dark skin? I just think bright colors show up so differently on deep skin, specifically purples.
MissZoey007 because there's only one Lisa Eldridge. I don't need to see someone highlight, contour, bake their face, use 4 different "transitional colors", winged liner, overdrawn lips, etc.
MissZoey007 lmao Lisa does do makeup on darker skin tones. No one is saying that she doesn't. And I find it a bit ridiculous how you're implying that Andy T go and watch a black youtuber to see black makeup tutorials when Lisa and in fact all good makeup artists cater for everyone. It was just a simple request from a person who felt like that would be a pretty makeup look, chill.
MissZoey007 Are you saying because Lisa's white she can't have a black model and show us on her? (She has MANY times by the way) so why are you asking if there's black you tubers? How is that relevant to her questions? You are beyond rude and clearly you have some issues. Lisa is an amazing makeup artist! And like all good makeup artists she caters to all! So good luck with awful attitude!
I love hearing the thought process behind every decision you make, e.g. not curling the lashes so they wouldn't touch her eyelids. I feel like so many MUAs feel the need to complete a certain set of steps for every look, but you thoughtfully pick and choose what you think works best for certain scenarios. Loved this video!!
Makeup artistry is all about making a series of decisions about whats going to look great on your model/clients face, as every face is completely different. The more faces you make up the better you get at the decisions - took me 10 years of making up different faces every day to 'start' to get really good at it. Talent is the starting point but experience is everything when you are dealing with such a variety of faces/lighting conditions/ skintypes daily X
I think my favorite thing about Lisa's channel when she works with a model is at the end when they see themselves. It makes me so happy to see them feel so confident while simultaneously still looking like their regular self.
My god, her lashes are incredible!!!! What a beautiful girl and what an amazing look! Can't believe you managed to do all that in 10 minutes, it takes me that long to do my base lol!
ive tended to notice that most of the models have quite pale skin. I'd love to see some videos with darker skin, african american, middle eastern, ect. It could cover different problems women with darker skin tend to have, like hyper pigmentation, and finding good foundations for richer tones
damn i think i just fell in love with the model. she has that "i know something you don't and i find it really amusing" smirk going on, pretty much my weakness haha. amazing look as always, lisa!
I love so much that you get to see the model talking and being shown as a person here, not just a mannequin for the makeup. It's such a small thing but it adds so much.
Hi Lisa. I'm going thru a phase in life where I just can't be bothered with makeup anymore unless I really have to. And then along comes your outstanding video and then all I want to do is run and put a full face on lol. Thanks eternally for keeping the love alive♥️It means everything🌹
Lisa doesn't follow standard trends, I don't see her doing a Harley Look, what with Harley being the number one Halloween costume this year. If she does, I feel it would be the more traditional Harley.
Your model is adorable. So beautiful with and without makeup. Thank you so much for this. I am older so I won't be using those colours or shimmers. But I found the eye technique very useful.
This is how you do makeup! I love your channel sooo much, Lisa. It shows a more realistic view of makeup not that plastic drag queen kind of makeup that is not very wearable. I love your technics 😍😍😍 I'm also a MUA and you inspire me very much with your passion. 😘😘
infinityxna But most young girls become very insecure about their looks when they see the overcaked drag look, with every pore photoshopped out of the thumb nail. I hardly see them have "fun" with it, they rather seem to feel pressured to hide all their perceived "flaws", which includes normal things such as pores, freckles, etc. It's just sad to me, not fun.
She is stunning! With and without! I adore your makeup Lisa! You have inspired me to wear less makeup but still keep it polished and pretty! Thank you so much!
I love how you layer the blue and teal eyeshadows! it makes it look extra dimensional and gives it a more "updated" look. The gold in the inner corner also makes the blue and teal pop perfectly:) -Natasha
Magical! I'm enthralled watching this video. I don't even care that this look is not for me. And this model appropriately looks like some ethereal being that emerged from a seashell in the ocean (a la Boticelli!); what a natural beauty!
I loved how happy Maddie looked when you agreed to trim her brows! She's beautiful, and so are you Lisa, for making women feel so good about themselves. xx
ah glittery eyelids are so popular now. I feel like every MUA on RUclips posted a tutorial with something like this, and Lisa's version is the classiest one.
I don't usually comment on the appearance of the models because they're all quite lovely and it's really about the makeup that you're doing - but my goodness, Maddie is just the most beautiful girl. Her eyes are extraordinary, and she seems like such a sweet, gentle person as well.
Lisa, you're probably the only person on earth who has 10min for making a celebrity glam makeup and instead of neutrals you go for vibrant greens and blues. But it came out stunning!
Unreal how talented Lisa is at what she does. She makes it all look so effortless, breezy! Blown away by her grace, beauty and talent. The model is angelic yet even when she has a model that requires more work (not perfect skin or as young) she pulls it together with minimal makeup and achieves a magical-beautiful result.
Her eyes were glowing at the end, so cool how makeup can do that. I love cara delevinge so so much! Her brows are to die for and your model did it justice. Very cool look. I love it!
Amazing look and such a cute model! Loved the fact that she interacted and also asked whats your favorite lipstick! She asked the question a lot of us had in mind i guess!
Lisa has such a sweet soft attitude towards everything she does its sooo soooothing 💜💜💜 she speaks soooo softly!! reminds me of the mua I hired at my wedding!!!
First: Makeup - exquisite! Normally FUN makeup is at the expense of beauty but this look is so beautiful. Lovely Maddie looks like an otherworldly princess. Second, this may sound silly but many makeup artists choose models that can sit as still as a mannequin that can withstand any brutal handling of their faces. I really respect that Lisa chose a model who smiles, understands how to move her head showing off different angles of her face as the makeup is being applied and fully admits that she flinches when eye makeup is applied. It's human to flinch and Lisa showed what a pro she is handling eye makeup on a flinching model and still applying it beautifully. Cheers to both of you beautiful ladies!
Dear Lisa. I have used makeup on and off for twenty years, but I honestly never really felt comfortable, when I put in makeup, because it just looked... odd. I am a Korean adoptee, living in Denmark, and growing up, me and my adopted sister were the only Asians living in our community, and my mother died, when I was fourteen, so I never really had anyone, who could tutor me, and all the looks I tried just looked really strange, because they were made for Scandinavians. So along the way, I just thought, "ok... I just can't wear makeup, because I will never learn how to." And that way of thinking kind of just stuck with me... But with this video, and a lot of your other videos, you have really given me some hope that I CAN learn. So from the bottom of my heart: Thank you! I might still get it wrong a million times (there is still nowhere in Denmark that give makeup advice for Asians), but at least now I think, I might have a chance of eventually getting there.
Zemma Luise Westh Poder you should check out "ssin nim" and "pony makeup" they are both korean makeup artists whose makeup styles lean more toward a Western influence. if you like the simple clean cutesy kdrama looks check out "jungsaemmool" who feature makeup artists who do makeup for korean celebrities.
Your makeup in the video intro was amazing. You always looked good, but this is my fave so far. Dainty, simple, glowy, and healthy looking. Would love to see a tutorial on this :) More power, Lisa!
I find your makeup in the intro is incredibly beautiful and natural, elegant every time when you do makeup on models. Please please do a tutorial on this look!!! Everyday makeup tutorial is all we want...!!!!
Oh my! This is probably the most beautiful makeup as I have ever seen, and such a beautiful model!!!!!! Simply the world championship of the makeup look!!!!!!!!
It would be a dream come true to be her model! She is definitely the most professional and classy on RUclips and it's a pleasure to the eyes (and ears) to see her working.
it's also really lovely to see how to apply blue eyeshadow on someone with blue eyes. I have blue eyes and have always been a bit wary of wearing any blue shadows/liner etc for fear that it would look a bit freaky, but this looks really nice!
Absolutely gorgeous! The best metallic blue eye makeup I've seen lately! So simple yet stunning! You knows how to bring out the best in everyone! You're my inspiration
Maddie is such a darling! I hope we see her on your channel again. As always, lovely seeing you work. You're so talented but also so kind to your models.
What a beautiful model! Fantastic lashes, I wish I had lashes like that. And I like the look. I love how versatile Lisa's work is, all those different techniques.
I adore how beautiful you are to your clients. As a makeup artist I have witnessed a lot of forceful hair stylists and other MUA's... Such a gorgeous person inside and out
Oh Lisa you are so professional and calming for your client/us. You are giving this lovely young lady such a fabulous start in to the make up world. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Much love from Canada.
Here comes the big mascara wand, almighty and confident - gets totally lost in those phenomenal lashes. What a amiable model, that smile! (I googled "liebenswürdig" since I´m german, hopefully it´s not completely off)
I am obviously watch your videos for great makeup and hacks, but your voice is sooo soothing and your manner of speaking is really calming and it holds my attention like no other :) you would make a great lecturer. Love you Lisa
no sponsorships, no bullshit, just makeup! the best on youtube!
Thank you! X
Lisa Eldridge
Couldn't agree more, i just love her. Watching Lisa Eldridge has given me the confidence to use very subtle make-up - you don't have to slather on loads of foundation, just enhance what you already have. Plus the model on here is so adorable!
i think maddie is my favorite model you've had! she's so smiley and warm!
I love how her hand gracefully moves. It's like watching an artist making a masterpiece.
Can you please do a colorful makeup look on someone with dark skin? I just think bright colors show up so differently on deep skin, specifically purples.
lisa does have a retro 80s look on a model with dark skin - it is quite intense but you could apply it lighter
I will die of happiness if she does Jourdan Dunn or Leomie Anderson's makeup in a video
MissZoey007 because there's only one Lisa Eldridge. I don't need to see someone highlight, contour, bake their face, use 4 different "transitional colors", winged liner, overdrawn lips, etc.

Wow, ten years!! I definitely have to keep practicing! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us! 💕
Most humble most elegant most classy makeup artist out there ! got mad respect for you darling , love you so much
Aww thank you x
Her natural lashes are INSANE! Super full and thick
I think my favorite thing about Lisa's channel when she works with a model is at the end when they see themselves. It makes me so happy to see them feel so confident while simultaneously still looking like their regular self.

yes definitely! she has a few on her channel but it would definitely be great to have some more
That lipstick is FANTASTIC.
thank you, I created it myself! Its called Nuit & Jour from Lancome .... launching next month X
Can't wait for it :-) And waiting for a Christmas Collection too !!!
Thank you for letting us know! I was searching high and low for it. It looks like the most perfect nude. Love your videos, Lisa xx :)
damn i think i just fell in love with the model. she has that "i know something you don't and i find it really amusing" smirk going on, pretty much my weakness haha. amazing look as always, lisa!
haha I know what you mean ... she definitely has a twinkle in her eye! Shes so lovely x
I love so much that you get to see the model talking and being shown as a person here, not just a mannequin for the makeup. It's such a small thing but it adds so much.
You are seriously the best makeup artist I've seen
Her lashes are AMAZING! I've never seen natural eyelashes like that! She's stunning all over. Excellent look for her too.
Good grief she is absolutely stunning!!! And humble which is so rare. Lovely look 😍
what a sweet model
I cannot let a day pass without watching your exquisite make up skills! ❤️
what a compliment! thank you : ) X
Hi Lisa. I'm going thru a phase in life where I just can't be bothered with makeup anymore unless I really have to. And then along comes your outstanding video and then all I want to do is run and put a full face on lol. Thanks eternally for keeping the love alive♥️It means everything🌹
What a lovely comment thanks so much, great to hear that! : ) x
I would love to see some character makeup for Halloween!!
Really good idea! Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad would be perfect!
Yeah sth vampy glam and gore
Lisa doesn't follow standard trends, I don't see her doing a Harley Look, what with Harley being the number one Halloween costume this year. If she does, I feel it would be the more traditional Harley.
Last year she did a Marie Antoinette tutorial. That's more her style than Harley Quinn.
She's absolutely beautiful and Omgosh! Those brows and lashes!!!! HOW BLESSED IS SHE!!!! Lucky her!!!!
Your model is adorable. So beautiful with and without makeup.
Thank you so much for this. I am older so I won't be using those colours or shimmers. But I found the eye technique very useful.
I love that you used green and blue eyeshadow with green eyes and it still looked amazing.
This is how you do makeup! I love your channel sooo much, Lisa. It shows a more realistic view of makeup not that plastic drag queen kind of makeup that is not very wearable. I love your technics 😍😍😍 I'm also a MUA and you inspire me very much with your passion. 😘😘
Agreed! I'm so over the drag look, especially for young girls!!!
But makeup is art so technically any makeup is realistic let girls have fun with what they do as long as they enjoy it
infinityxna But most young girls become very insecure about their looks when they see the overcaked drag look, with every pore photoshopped out of the thumb nail. I hardly see them have "fun" with it, they rather seem to feel pressured to hide all their perceived "flaws", which includes normal things such as pores, freckles, etc. It's just sad to me, not fun.

Such a beautiful look!!! Lisa you should do a tutorial on the makeup you are wearing, i love it!! ❤️mucho loveee 💋
Yes, I would very much like that also : )
Agree! Lisa, you look lovely too!
Maddie is stunning! Fabulous makeup as usual. I would be like Cara - "Do whatever you want Lisa!"
Magical! I'm enthralled watching this video. I don't even care that this look is not for me. And this model appropriately looks like some ethereal being that emerged from a seashell in the ocean (a la Boticelli!); what a natural beauty!

Gosh Maddie is stunning! Those eyes really came to life with the eyeliner and mascara!
The model looks like a cross between Cara and Margot Robbie.
I would actually say a mix of Margot Robbie and Emma Stone, with Cara's brows
+Sofía Ricci she's just gorgeous!
Poppet Hogwart Toadflax Absolutely! She's stunning!
And a little bit of Emma stone
+Sofía Ricci Yes, I can also see Emma Stone
What beautiful/glamorous makeup on a lovely model. I think that Maddie is my most favorite model that you've ever had on your channel!!!
The makeup and the model are both gorgeous ❤ and her lashes omg!
Unreal how talented Lisa is at what she does. She makes it all look so effortless, breezy! Blown away by her grace, beauty and talent. I loved watching Lisa interact with Maddie like this. its so heart warming.
This is gorgeous, the model is gorgeous, Lisa is gorgeous.... all is gorgeous.
The blue is super pretty🎄🎄🎄
Lisa has such a sweet soft attitude towards everything she does its sooo soooothing 💜💜💜 she speaks soooo softly!! reminds me of the mua I hired at my wedding!!!
the lower eyeliner part is so cute, lisa is so careful and looks after the model so well!

I loved the conversation you had whilst trimming Maddie's brows, it's so lovely getting to know your models like that :)
I laughed so hard when you asked "are you ready to be tickled?" Lol. You're amazing!
Holy moly!! How envious am I of her incredible brows and lashes?!?! She's incredibly beautiful naturally, but Lisa! What a look!! Phenomenal!
Dear Lisa.
I have used makeup on and off for twenty years, but I honestly never really felt comfortable, when I put in makeup, because it just looked... odd.

Maddie is so naturaly beautiful. She has amazing skin, eyes, eyebrows and those eyelashes! The look you did on her is stunning. Love it.
Damn are those her natural lashes?! So long! What a sweet model. Loved this.
Your makeup in the video intro was amazing. You always looked good, but this is my fave so far. Dainty, simple, glowy, and healthy looking. Would love to see a tutorial on this :) More power, Lisa!

This is a phenomenal look! Side note: your model Maddie is darling :) thank you for sharing this with us!
You are so kind to your model. I know you are a kind person.
She looks like Emma Stone 😊 Her skin is amazing, I will not also wear makeuo if I have that kind of skin type 😍
She looks like Margot Robbie to me lol
Oh god no she doesn't look like Emma Stone! She's a combination of Margot Robbie and Doutzen Krous?
I'd say Emma stone and Cara Delevigne. I don't see any Margot Robbie in her.
She is so amazing ,her voice is so soothing and makes it worth it !
Lisa, you've done it again. Sublime! And the model is very pretty as well. Your videos are my favourite cup of tea.
Oh my! This is probably the most beautiful makeup as I have ever seen, and such a beautiful model!!!!!! Simply the world championship of the makeup look!!!!!!!!
The model's eyelashes are amazing! I love this look x
It would be a dream come true to be her model! She is definitely the most professional and classy on RUclips and it's a pleasure to the eyes (and ears) to see her working.
Getting MAJOR Margot Robbie vibes. She's stunning! Lovely makeup too of course :)
it's also really lovely to see how to apply blue eyeshadow on someone with blue eyes. I have blue eyes and have always been a bit wary of wearing any blue shadows/liner etc for fear that it would look a bit freaky, but this looks really nice!
So cool! Would looove to see you do the high school makeup tag Lisa 😊😊😊
Ha ha that would be so much fun!
Absolutely gorgeous! The best metallic blue eye makeup I've seen lately! So simple yet stunning! You knows how to bring out the best in everyone! You're my inspiration
So cute when Lisa said that she doesn't want to use eyelash curlers because it would touch her brows 😂 I SUPER LOVE THIS. THANK U AGAIN LISA
this model is such a sweet angel, her facial expression when lisa was cutting her eyebrows was so cute
this model is absolutely gorgeous x
Maddie is such a darling! I hope we see her on your channel again. As always, lovely seeing you work. You're so talented but also so kind to your models.
The model has gorgeous eyelashes 😍
She's soo beautiful and humble. And your makeup skills never fail to amaze me.
You do so much with so little product! I always come back to your channel when I feel I've been brainwashed by Instagram.
Just gorgeous. 💞
She is so beautiful! Can't wait for the lipstick!
You're the best, Lisa! And Maddie's adorable! Smiley and friendly:). She also reminds me of Margot Robbie!
I agree she's a dream model, very professional but still so warm and chatty. I'd love to do another look on her. x
Aaaah, thanks so much for the reply, Lisa! I'm fangirling!😘 God bless you!
Maddie is really gorgeous
I can't get over how beautiful this makeup looks.
She looks like a mix of Emma Stone and Margot Robbie, stunning! Amazing makeup as always ❤️
Love Lisa's makeup, it looks so ethereal and fresh. Also the model's makeup is pretty as well.
ah she's lovely and the make up really enhanced her eyes :) those lashes are a-mazing! xx
i love that your channel feels like a true look behind the curtain. you are so wonderful at explaining yourself and making high quality videos
What a lovely model, please use her again!
Your hands are like magic wands. Loved the look and your model was so gorgeous before and after.
your models always seem so lovely!
Maddie is so so effortless, and her skin is just perfect, loved this so much
Please recreate your makeup for this tutorial! I love how it looks. So feminine and delicate!🌻🌸🤗
That first turquoise eye shade is STUNNING.
Watching your videos is so therapeutic! Also love the interaction between you and the models. x
What a beautiful model! Fantastic lashes, I wish I had lashes like that. And I like the look. I love how versatile Lisa's work is, all those different techniques.
Fun look. I have to admit that I preferred Maddie's brows before the trim, though.
But great tutorial! Thank you for making such awesome content!
I adore how beautiful you are to your clients. As a makeup artist I have witnessed a lot of forceful hair stylists and other MUA's... Such a gorgeous person inside and out
What a stunning, charming model!
Wow, Maddie's eyelashes! Beautiful. Great look again Lisa xx
Maddie is so sweet :) love how she interacted with you.
(I googled "liebenswürdig" since I´m german, hopefully it´s not completely off)
you chose a good word! Yes she's a delight X

I am obviously watch your videos for great makeup and hacks, but your voice is sooo soothing and your manner of speaking is really calming and it holds my attention like no other :) you would make a great lecturer. Love you Lisa
