Lots of great new games in there. I'm especially interested in: - Pirates Outlaws, but only after I've finally played Slay the Spire - Saga of Sins for the art style, would love a good ol' review on this one to see if the quality of the gameplay matches the art style. - Gripper: love a good vehicle-driven (hehe) action game, looking forward to learning more! - The Last Worker: Portal meets Borderlands art? Definitely worth checking out. - DREDGE: looks both depressing and fascinating, probably worth a shot after I complete Disco Elysium (battle the backlog, you know the drill) PS: I'm terrible at writing short comments, I know :(
Playasia listed Assassin's Creed Mirage "Deluxe Edition" as a retail Nintendo Switch game. I think they are mistaken but no one talks about that. Ubisoft (officially) has never announced anything about that, only Prince of Persia was scheduled for realese :/
I’ve been looking forward to a Switch port of *THE LAST WORKER* since I saw the first trailer. And now I’m really looking forward to a review from you guys to see if it lives up to my expectations and runs well on this system. And further I’d like to see reviews for: - Gripper - Dredge (I’m sure you’ll cover that, Glen :)
DREDGE seems interesting. Not big on horror, but if it's got fishing, then I might give it a go. Lanark looks good. I like the art direction of it, and some shots look really good. Valken hm... Feel like I've either played the other version of it when I was a kid or a game inspired by it. It's nice to have the original version, though. I remember buying cheat books as a kid and printing off a bunch of cheats from the internet, too. I just went through my games, saw what had cheats, and spent my time trying them out. Good times!
Never thought I'd be interested in a game like that, but Gripper looks kind of cool. I also hope Saga of Sins plays well, it looks a bit clunky? Although that might just be the animations/art style I guess? Whatever, I'm not in a rush to get anything this week, but there's definitely a few wishlist contenders 😂 Thanks for the video!
I'll hold of on buying anything for a while myself. I just took a look at my backlog and it does not look good! I still havent finished DQ11s (90 hours in and still going!) Then i need to play Horizon Forbidden West. GOW Ragnarok is about to get NG+. And then there's Dead Cells. So many games so little time! 😣😅
@@Ser-Smiley Oof, tell me about it! I haven't progressed much in OT II, and I also just recently got my games/backlog Excel sheet up to date...I've made a few too many FOMO purchases this year. And since I do wanna get a potential TotK OLED, it's time to be a bit more conscious of my spending and focus on the good ol' backlog 😅
@@Anni_ka ah. A wise decision. Never a bad idea to focus on backlog. Untill there's a sudden and massive sale on a game that you really want that is! 😅😂
Ohhh, I hadn't realized Lunark released this week! I'm gonna be looking into it, it really got my attention and it looks like one hell of a throwback, in more ways than one. Thank you for the review, as always!
Some really great stuff this month. I'll definitely be grabbing the "Dredge" game, especially since "Fishing North Atlantic" launched a few days ago with a bug that makes completing the tutorial impossible. I also plan to grab the pirate game, as well as both the restaurant and railroad sim games that come out on the 28th. I *might* be a bit addicted to simulations at this point, haha. I'm also quite enjoying MLB The Show, though I still wish the easier methods of batting/pitching weren't penalized so heavily (esp for offline play where it shouldn't matter). That said, the huge variety in game modes really can't be beat. There are so many modes on offer that I haven't even touched "Road to the Show" (the campaign mode) yet, despite RTTS being good enough on its own to justify purchasing the game. I especially love Conquest mode, which is kind of like "Risk" meets baseball. So much fun. March has been a terrific, if busy, month for those of us who like our simulation games. Between all of the games listed above and a few others (Session: Skate Sim in particular), I have plenty to keep me occupied. And that's just within the sim genre! I've also been popping into Dead Cells every few days, plus the new Switch port of "Tents & Trees" to relax at night. What a month.
@@SwitchUpYt I was definitely picking up Dredge but I might have to get both now. That usually happens when I watch your videos lol. Thanks for everything you do!
@@Ganesh.krish0212 Does the mobile version has any kind of micro transactions or limitations or is it the full game? I checked and it's $1 there while this Switch version is $17. Thanks!
@@jess2109 the mobile version will have some micro transactions. Not all updates were free, the game has been expanded over a few years. The game is great and has tons of replayability, good value for money.
So many great games again!? I already had an eye on Dredge and Lunark but you always still manage to bring new games to light for me like Saga of Sins, Gripper, and Valken! I’m super thankful . . . while my wallet is less than pleased 😂
I just looked up Saga of Sins on the e-shop and the whole style looks super dope on a screen that is bigger than my phones one. I hope the gameplay will be as good as it looks.
DREDGE is a must buy for me, I am truly fascinated with the Lovecraftian world and what it has inspired across all literature and media. I would also have to question my namesake if I didn't give Saga of Sins a try.
I only seem interested in 2D metroidvania or side scroller platformers anymore. I love pixel art as well. There are so many games coming at you from any direction, i'm pretty content with what i have to choose from.
@@ty_sylicus agreed, I'll definitely try the Dredge demo. Shame more games don't offer demos. It's such an obvious way to get us interested. I guess maybe it's harder to implement than I think
Some really cool games coming soon. I'll be keeping my eyes on Gripper. Love your channel guys, I always look forward to watching your videos and thank you for your discounts on estop cards. Only problem I have is too many good games on back log
Dredge and Gripper look really interesting, especially Dredge. I rarely buy games at launch but Dredge has been something I wanted to play since its announcement. The gameplay looks engrossing. I hope you guys do a review on it.
I've played the demo for Dredge several times now and love what I've experienced! So much so that I've pre-ordered it! Can't wait to properly get stuck into it!
Hoping Pirate Outlaws is a good deckbuilder, the obvious comparisons to Slay The Spire are there though I've yet to find a game that really captured that magic. PO looks well made so hopefully it can follow through on the actual gameplay. Dredge also looks interesting though we don't see much gameplay (at least in this video) so hopefully there's some meat to it. Currently playing Snowrunner though right now... it absolutely is as addictive as described. On sale right now too, well worth it.
Some good looking games in this batch. I've already got Dredge pre-ordered to get the physical edition and a few of these are looking like pickups too. Kraino looks like a fun Mega man clone and saga of sins could be fun, at least it has a physical release. I'd like to see more info on Gripper and Blade assault but they both look interesting.
I actually owned Cybernator on Snes. I played it quite a lot when I was a kid, but I never beat it. It's cool that they are giving it another breath of life. From this list, Blade Assault is about the only interest I have from this list.
I loved Another World back in the day, so Lunark looks interesting. Curious about The Last Worker too. Is it going to be some kind of 3D puzzle game? It does show its real world inspiration on its sleeve in any case 😁
The NYMets! My favourite squadron! Good stuff that the MLB game is cross platform, might hold off for a bit of a price drop for "silly boys rounders" though. Bonus points for naming the two shows quoted here 😂.
That pirate deck builder looks like it could be super fun. Interested to hear more about Dredge. Maybe not one I want to hear much about before playing though.
Pirates outlaws, Gripper, Dredge...all look so interesting! Choices must be made. Blade assault would be more tempting if I didn't already have Neon Abyss in my life.
I was surprised with Valken -- I thought it was a remaster of the front mission-esque game from PS1. That was a good one, not sure if it ever got translated though.
I just spent more than I should have picking up 3DS games before the Eshop closes, but Dredge has my interest. :) Waiting to see if it performs well on Switch or if I should get it for Xbox. it does look like a fun one to play at bedtime.
Dredge looks amazing. I have already played through the demo and am totally hooked(pun intended)!! I am going to be getting the digital deluxe edition so I can have the dlc at launch!
Living in the United States I’m a big baseball fan and I loved playing MLB The Show on the go last year so very much looking forward to the next iteration
I remember being chased out of my local super market when I was a kid because I'd go everyday after school to handwrite cheats from their magazines in my notebook since I couldn't buy them. Fun times.
